This is a difficult review to write objectively, because while the hotel itself was really very good its location left a little to be desired, being in what seemed to me at least to be a slightly down-at-heel part of the city. That, of course, is purely a personal opinion and should not deter future travellers. The hotel's location is not the hotel's fault. Be aware, though, that it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the River Adige and the edge of Verona's historic city centre. Otherwise, and leaving such negative aspects aside, the hotel staff were brilliant and could not have been more friendly, polite and extremely helpful. The rooms were always immaculate, if a tad on the small side with very limited spaced for hanging clothes, etc. Breakfast was outstanding, with a superb variety of cold and hot food on offer. The chocolate cake was an unexpected surprise!

See my previous comments. Also, be wary when booking a local taxi. We ordered a taxi via the hotel for the journey from the airport to the hotel and the charge was 70 euros, one way. I thought this was a bit excessive but did not question the hotel about it, assuming the charge to be par for the course. However, we also booked a taxi from the hotel to the airport for our homeward flight and the charge was only 35 euros! By this time, of course, it was too late to bring this to the hotel's attention, but I am left wondering why the inbound far was double the cost of the return journey. Something ain't right.

This hotel was home for the three nights we enjoyed the beauty of Verona. Rooms were very comfortable with great beds and amenities. Yes breakfast was simplistic but after loading with carbs all the salami and cheeses in previous days simplistic start to the day and lovely espresso was perfect. Olga is the heartbeat of this hotel! Her passion, knowledge and warmest of hearts is perfect role model for front of house. She also has insanely good recommendations for food! Location off the beaten track but perfect to enjoy local bars and be around the community with a short walk into the city

My mark for service was marked down slightly for the spa. We opted to have the spa in that dead time from checkout to airport but whilst it was a paid extra we were denied the opportunity to chill before flying home. Such a shame esp as it was raining!

The lady handling the breakfast is overworked, she joggles so many things, she is clearing tables in between guests for breakfast, making coffees, answering reception phone calls, topping up breakfast and lots more. It’s too much pressure for one staff especially because breakfast time is peak time. Customers had to wait or either go down to another dinning area which was away from the breakfast stand because she is obviously struggling to clean the tables in between guest. I suggest management to provide more staff to support meal times for a better guest experience and also it is not nice to overwork and overwhelm staff.

We absolutely loved our stay at this small boutique hotel. It was located about 25 mins walk from centre of the city but we loved the stroll. Buses are frequent and super cheap. We received a warm welcome and found the staff polite and very helpful throughout our stay. The decor is modern contemporary mixed with some rustic touches and great Lighting. Beds comfy and showers amazing. We booked an hour in the private spa in the basement that has a pool and sauna. So relaxing after a day in the city. Breakfast buffet delicious with fresh fruits, yoghurt honey homemade cakes hot food bacon and scrambled eggs pastries. Great proper coffee. We would definately return again.

Everything about the hotel was superb. Quite a small hotel but well furbished, very smart and clean. The staff were very friendly, approachable and helpful. Breakfast was llovely and much better than we have had in higher rated hotels.

The location was a good 20-minute walk from the old town and to most of the attracttions and restaurants. Once the new tram link is completed, it will be much easier.

This is a very nice small hotel slightly away from the centre of Verona but only a 10 minute walk to the 'old town'.It is difficult to notice from the outside but once you are in it is modern with retained old features adjacent to a nice piazza and close to an old city gate. The staff were very pleasant and the room was modern, clean and comfortable. A good breakfast and a friendly bar and restaurant with two interesting bar/restaurants opposite. Well worth staying at and good value. Verona is beautiful, recommend a small 'prosciutteria' on the main square (del Erbe?) and we had an easy day trip into Venice on the train.

I booked this hotel as it was close to the centre of Verona and had a spa. Having to pay extra for the spa (15 euro) was acceptable. It was lovely though lacking a steam room. The location was actually very good. I tried the local burger bar (Alby) and highly recommend that. Local shops were handy and parking close by (again another cost). For Verona it was perfect for my stay.

Ideally spa and parking should be provided in the original cost - but it’s not a major issue.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable and air conditioning was a huge bonus given the heat during our four days. The spa was a great bonus after long, hot days sightseeing.

Would like to have better clothing storage and more coat hangers. Iron might also be nice to have in the room. Waterfall shower head was lovely, but the shower screens couldn't cope with the level of water and ended up with a bathroom full of water. Which was extremely dangerous.

Excellent room that was spacious and comfortable with a very good bathroom. Stylish and modern and impeccably clean. The staff are all extremely pleasant and very helpful. The spa, whilst compact, is a super extra facility with a sauna and small swimming pool. Again stylish and immaculate. The hotel restaurant offers good food so it is not essential to go out to eat. Overall a great hotel that is incredibly good value for money. I am already planning a further stay here next year.

Nothing at all to dislike. The location does mean a walk to get to the centre of Verona, which personally I enjoy. Otherwise there seemed to be a good bus service and also the hotel was able to call a taxi which arrived very promptly. Taxis in Verona are reasonably priced.

Very comfortable and very clean. Staff were excellent, nice and friendly. Breakfast available each morning as part of stay and great facilities such as the spa downstairs.

The walk to the centre of town doesn’t take long, but doesn’t feel the safest. Had no issues but always on high alert, especially at night.
