Hotel Rivus may be a three-star hotel, but it delivers a five-star experience in every way that matters. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that attention to detail is a top priority here. The thoughtful gestures stood out the most: a care package for our dog, which truly made us feel welcome, and a delightful Panettone gift waiting in our room. These little touches went above and beyond our expectations. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a kettle and fridge that added convenience to our stay. Its location is a major highlight, being very central to Lazise, Gardaland, and Peschiera, making it perfect for exploring the area. Breakfast was a revelation—fresh, varied, and truly exceptional, even outshining some of the five-star hotels I've stayed in. This stay reminded me that star ratings aren’t everything. It’s about the care, thoughtfulness, and those extra details that make your stay memorable. Hotel Rivus gets this just right. Highly recommended!

The hotel could benefit from some renovations, as a few areas showed signs of wear and tear.

Perfect location, really near to the center and a peasant walking route to the lake. In the hotel you will find everything a traveller may need. Very friendly staff and modern rooms. A great swimming pool and area around it.

We were tired and decided to dine at the hotel, which was not a perfect choice. There were a couple of meals to choose from, but I must say that just my salad was really good. Neither my husband nor my child enjoyed their food. Except that, everything was perfect.

Vaulted ceilings kept the room cool even with temps above 35! Large balcony, nice refrigerator, large buffet breakfast and excellent employees at reception.

Probably my fault, but hotel is near nothing and we did not have a car. Had to take Taxis everywhere and not only for tourist things but there was not even a small minimarket in the area. If we had a car we would stay again tomorrow, but without we had too many expenses, just like dinner. They offer a great breakfast buffet but afterwards only snacks like panini bread and only until 7pm.

Good location, not in the centre of the town but a lovely 15min stroll along the picturesque river brings you to the centre. Welcoming reception staff. Good size comfortable room, bathroom and balcony. We had a problem in the restaurant with a member of staff but this was resolved exceptionally the following morning by a female member of staff from the restaurant. We didn't use the pool area as lake Garda is just so beautiful so cannot comment on that area. Would return again :)

There was no hand sanitizer in entry to the restaurant so we brought our own. There was no do not disturb signs in the room, I said to the cleaner outside my room on the first two days no cleaning needed, she thanked me and we said bye. These two days we returned to our room being cleaned, likely some communication barrier. The third day I was just showered and standing in my room nude drying off and the cleaner came on into our room without knocking. After this we didn't worry about it and just let room service in each day.

great location at the river, nearby the highway and also city center,with nice views. pool was perfect to refresh , the staff was very nice

the rooms had already experienced something.. some things were broken, it was a lot of cobwebs there and the floor was dirty (after walking from shower we had immediately dirty feet )

The staff were extremely polite, friendly and welcoming. They were all extremely accommodating and helpful, they couldn’t do enough for me. They also allowed me to store my bags with them while I was waiting to leave and called a taxi for me. The hotel was a 15/20 minute walk from the town, however it was a beautiful walk along the water that allowed us to experience the wildlife and sunshine.

My only issue was the air conditioning had not been turned on in the hotel when I stayed, however it was May so it might have been to early in the year.

Hotel is in the walkable distance to the Peschiera old town. We were allowed to check in even when we reserved the stay and arrived late at night - thanks to staff :) Rich breakfast, hotel provided us everything we needed.

Breakfast was superb, rooms spacious and staff are very nice and helpful! Cleanliness so so but overall it was worth.

Cleanliness so so -spider webs with every cranny - be careful if you don't drive a car - its quite a walk to the Centre (no bus goes there) - beautiful walk by the lake but it takes approx. 30min from hotel to Centre for bus station etc..

the hospitality and the good mood of the information person

the serve in the breakfast must be more correct and msut be high level of care to the persons we waited for some food because it disapeared in the middle and we wated for the clean cups to drink our coffee

Nice pool area. Location is a bit hard to reach. Good breakfast. Helpful personnel.

AC was not working in the 1st room but next day we got another room. Restaurant for dinner is not so good.
