The location is great! The room was clean. The staff was wonderful, especially the gentleman that checked us in! The breakfast was ok. I’m sure it was great for some, but would love to see a few more healthy options for those that want that (honey, plain yogurt, whole wheat anything!, natural peanut butter, jelly without high fructose corn syrup). I know I’m not the only one that would appreciate these options.

Our room was clean and quiet but needed some attention. Carpet was stained/burned (?), the tub needs caulking, the shower curtain needs replacing and where were the instructions to operate the television??

Cleo!! She is the manager of the hotel and she was amazing! I had booked another hotel that happened to be horrible and Cleo helped us get checked in a bit early so we didn't have to stay in hotel Hell any longer than absolutely needed! The staff was incredibly helpful, kind and just great to work with. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool was great, the room I had was just the right size, the bathroom was large and that was also a blessing.

There wasn't anything I didn't like, it was a great hotel and a very pleasant stay.

Nice welcome from Julius working the front desk makes the first and lasting impression , hotels need to learn that your front desk people are the hotel , despite extensive roadworks easy enough to get to and from , nice public area good breakfast room and good food rooms had everything we needed .

I have stayed in a country inn 3 times and each time I say the same , they are good hotels but need some money spending on maintenance and decoration , please look at the carpets in the rooms mine was badly stained needs replacing same true in corridor areas , the room smelt very musty , opening windows would help , the a.c worked but it took a while to freshen thee room , someone needs to decide to spend some $ otherwise great hotels .

It was fine, the gentlemen who ran the place was exceptional.

LOL - Bacon - always bacon! Seems every time we stay (our third stop in 3 years) the pool is closed. I'll ask next time and if 'under maintenance' again, I will go elsewhere. We used booking.com. We asked for a room at the back of the building. Apparently messages left when booking at this hotel is not seen (that is what we were told). Big sighs at the desk and a ridiculous amount of time to find a room for us where I had asked. 2 previous visits had us over the lobby and facing the parking lot. Bright and noisy. Ask for room at the back!

The room was pretty clean snd comfortable. The desk person was very polite and friendly.

I booked a room with the description as 1 bed with a whirlpool. I got a regular 1 bed room, no whirlpool. When I asked the front desk person, he said that it happens all of the time when booking through 3rd party sites. He said maybe it was the type of tub. It was not. Since it was a holiday weekend, everything else was booked. I paid a little extra for the whirlpool room but didn't get what I paid for.

This hotel is just off the I95 so it's easy to get to so perfect for a one night stay. Although it's on a busy street, it was very quiet for sleeping and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very nice. There are no restaurants you can walk to however we found 6 Bears and A Goat Brewing Company that is only a 3 minute drive. The food was great and they have Vegan options. Breakfast at the hotel was the standard fare as was as expected.

Can't think of anything we didn't like. We were going further south so we only stayed one night.

I chose this hotel so I would be close to Fredericksburg. This is not too far from downtown also the location close to the highway. Plenty of stores near by to get things you may want i.e. Starbucks, Walmart. As for the room-Comfy bed, fridge and microwave in the room and lots of outlets.

Bathroom needed a fan for the steam after a shower, the TV or channels available could have been better (but this is nitpicky), a fleece blanket or extra comforter would have been great versus the one that was in the room. It would be great if the blackout curtains had velcro or a magnet that made them stay shut versus getting that sliver of sunlight in the room. In room 325 the shower and sink drain were both super slow. The shower water pooled up fast and took a few minutes after you finished your shower to go down the drain. (I usually arrived to the room after 11:30pm so I didn't want to wake the repair person up or be woken up early for when the repair person was on duty so I did not mention it)

The Suite room style

I, an African American, received a different greeting from the front desk staff. I didn't receive the information about breakfast times/check out, nor was I offered the cookies. However, when another guess is checked in, which was Caucasian all information was relayed to them, and the staff even asked, " Would you like a cookie, how many?". I was truly disappointed!!! Also, USB plugs should be in each room to charge devices.

We were expecting bland hotel type decor, what we got was a feeling of walking into Grandma's and Grandpa's home. It's exactly what you'd expect when you're traveling and want to be comfortable. The sheets were crisply clean, there was a slight smell of Lysol or similar that had been used. We needed more pillows at one point, and we got them. The Staff is just Amazing, thank you!

There are some worn items throughout. Carpets need to be replaced as they're showing signs of wear, walls need to be painted- you can see holes that were patched over and not really blended. The tub needs to be resealed, it was patchy everywhere accompanied by a dig mark.

The location was very convenient for our travels with easy access. Walkable to nearby restaurants. Room was spacious, well lit, and with all expected amenities. Breakfast was decent so far as free breakfasts go at this level of hotel.

Carpet was clean but very stained and very worn. Several light bulbs were blown but none that caused any visibility issues. Number of pillows was adequate but small-sized and worn out.
