The Inn was historic, which my daughter loved. There was a parlor downstairs for us to enjoy with other guests.Thwe staff was v ery polite and friendly as well as polite.

There was no hot breakfast, but there was a nice supply of breakfast items to choose from. There was nowhere in the room to sit except for the bed. I would love to have had room for a sitting area and a desk. The inn is old, and the rooms were nice, but old rooms are not as big as the newer ones. There was no elevator, but the staff was very helpful getting luggage up and down stairs.

Lovely little place. Harkens back to a different time, in a good way. Real keys for the rooms and everything. Felt like I went to stay at Nana's house in the spare room.

TV was comically small. Maybe dont even need the TV at all but if you are gonna do it, it needs to fit the space. Continental breakfast was kinda weak. It was advertised as a "Bed and Breakfast" and we got the equivalent of pop tarts and juice boxes.

Historic hotel in the middle of Fredericksburg - the staff was very friendly and accommodations were very historic.

Because it's so old, there's no sound insulation and bed was comfy but creaky. There was a wedding that weekend, so there were lots of folks loudly going down the halls, and the sound carries like crazy there. Everything else was great!

I liked my room and the breakfast. Room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was the best of every hotel I've ever stayed at.

What I didn't like was the noise in both the hallways and outside. Traffic with LOUD mufflers sped up and down the street at all hours interrupting sleep.

The exterior looks like a typical motel, but when you step in, the decor is historic, and impressive. The person we checked in with was very helpful, and she took time to explain the history of this property as an old silk mill. She also upgraded our room without extra charge, and it was very kind of her. The location is convenient, and it's in walking distance to many historical attractions and restaurants.

The breakfast was simple continental. We requested an upstairs room, and could manage with our luggage. But there is no elevator. The room doesn't have a coffee maker, but it has a small refrigerator.

The Inn is located on the northern part of the historic part of Fredericksburg. It's about a 10 minute walk to downtown, but close to the canal path and one of the historic residential areas if you like to walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Do note this is an old building--that's the charm of it. Be prepared for squeaky wooden floors and antique furniture filling the bill. There is no elevator/lift. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom more than adequate, and while I never saw a thermostat control the temperature of the room was fine. The breakfast room was a little warm and had just basic offerings of fruit, yogurt, cereals, and prepackaged muffins.

All was as expected.

Breakfast was as advertised; okay but not exceptional. I liked the old furniture in the building. It gave it an historic appearance. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

location was good but there were on times during the early evening hours when several cars would race loudly past the hotel. In thought I was along a drag strip.

Good value for the location. Staff was very friendly and genuinely wanted our stay to be the best possible! They always asked if we needed anything at all. Easy parking. Felt comfortable and safe.

Room could have been a little cooler. No temperature controls in the room. Ceiling fan would have been helpful. It was not uncomfortable though.

The continental breakfast was just fine it had everything I needed! The location was relatively good.. but it was a little far from the little center of the old historic area so you had to drive.. no problem with parking though!

Actually the really wasn't anything I didn't like.. it was charming!

The location is perfect, with plenty of on-site parking. It's a very straightforward walk into Fredericksburg. This was our third stay as it has all we need for our visit!

The air conditioning is centrally managed which means the rooms can be a little warm at times.
