Traveling thru, on a road trip . We booked 2 rooms. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was good, coffee was excellent!

We were traveling thru on a road trip. We booked two rooms. Requested to have rooms fairly close together. They ended up being on opposite sides of the hotel and on a different floor. First room was fine, except for the loud music from the store across the parking lot. Second room had no heat. Called down and someone eventually came up. He was very nice, but couldn’t fix. Eventually moved us to a different room at 2:00 am. Staff was nice and helped us move. Just didn’t get the rest we needed to continue the drive the next day.

Value, location and staff. Value- The price of our 2 night stay was reasonable out of all the hotels specially near the downtown Fredericksburg. Location- Amaizing! Gas stations, restaurants, and family activities are walking distance to the hotel. Staff - I spoke to them when I check in and check out. Pleasant exchange of conversation,and informative.

Cleanliness and appearance Cleanliness - not the best but they hit the main parts of the room. The blow dryer handle was not clean and the bottom of the tub shower showed the appearance of mineral stain from the water. Both are not too concerning to me. I didn't use the hair dryer. Appearance - the outside is clean, I saw the maintenance guy every day cleaning the parking lot. Inside the room, looks good at first glance. Then I saw the standard base cabinet, the drawers below the microwave were damaged (it looked like the veneer was pulled/scrapped off by something) and they covered it up by staining over. The hanger rod showing rust stains.

Location

Hairs in the bed, sink and Shower. Bathroom was gross and rooms basic. Small towel, not quality shampoo or conditioner. Ironing board cover not attached, rusty suitcase holder. Lady who organised breakfast was standing around with her hand down the back of her pants. Breakfast was a joke.

The lady was kind to get us in before check-in. The room was really clean and nice. I will be coming back in the near future. Definitely recommend it to others. The breakfast was also good as well.

There was nothing I didn't not like. It was a good stay.

The convenience. Its not like the more expensive hotels I stay at but it served its purpose. I felt safe, the staff was nice the rooms were clean. And the pool was cleaned daily. I had a good stay!

The ice machine was broken.

It was as expected for a 2 star motel. Location off the interstate was good. There were a fair number of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. WIFI was reliable.

The charge for our two cats ($50.00) seems awfully high. Especially since we would have been charged for any damage they did in addition to the fee to let them stay there. It certainly wouldn't cost an average of $50.00 to clean up after cats under normal usage. Towels could have been a bit better. They were small and rough.

I like the property. It was very clean and the staff was nice.

The one thing that stood out was a random charge on my credit card for $3.32 which I’m assuming was for pool towels? We weren’t told that we were going to be charged for them. I very nice woman told us that we could go to the office and get some, not that they costed anything. It’s only $3 but we would have liked to be able to accept or decline the towels due to that.

Nice staff, friendly Breakfast was hot and available, the basics for a quick hotel meal before getting back on the road Location was great. A restaurant right in the parking lot (which we went to, Cowboy Jacks) and other things close by.

The location and the pet policy i liked

Just the age and the a/c heater made a lot of noise that disturbed my dog. There was a loud motorcycle outside revving its engine in parking lot at around 2:30am. It woke me up and the dog.

Excellent staff! The little restaurant next to the hotel was outstanding. Service was a little slow, but, everything was prepared to order and fresh, including all the meats and vegetables. The wait was definitely worth it. It's worth saving your appetite until you get to the hotel and try this place out. Also, a very nice breakfast area with a wide selection of foods.
