Me and my boyfriend LOVED staying here. The staff was so friendly and helpful, beds were comfy with nice pillows, the room was clean, the entire place is so quiet i couldnt even tell if there was anyone else even there most of the time, and the air-conditioning kicked so much ass that we accidentally froze ourselves. We run super hot and we always bring our own fans, but we really didnt need them here. We even turned the ac off a couple times which never happens for us! I chose this place specifically for the indoor pool and I was not disappointed. There was only once we had to share it with other people and even then there were only a couple people actually in the pool, so we basically had the pool to ourselves every time. It wasn't crazy over chlorinated and it was the perfect temperature. We saw all the reviews about breakfast and we made jokes about "Damn dude, breakfast must be bangin' cause everyone is mentioning it." They were not wrong. Sausage gravy, eggs, potatoes with veggies, cereal, oatmeal, Greek yogurt, hardboiled eggs, juices, fresh fruit, raisins, chocolate chips, coconut flakes... I literally kept seeing more and more and it was always being refilled. It was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. My boyfriend ended up getting sick our last day and was stuck in bed. I asked if I could bring him something up stairs because he hadn't eaten in a while, and they gave me a tray and told me to grab him anything he wanted. I was just expecting something small but the hospitality here is amazing. It was so appreciated and made our day so much better. DRIVING location aside, since this Best Western has nothing to do with Virginia's serious lack of competent road construction, we could walk to multiple places and grab snacks and not have to waste any gas. I'm glad this place will be here when the water park goes in because this is definitely where I'll be staying when I get the chance. Book here.

The property is still new, and the quality of the interior shows that. Luggage carts were very helpful. Staff was always present, friendly and helpful. Ice machine was a great perk on our floor.

Due to current construction (the new resort is being built across the road) there was no way to turn into the parking lot from the left side of the highway, requiring you to drive an extra ten minutes to make the U-turn. You also have to drive through the Taco Bell parking lot to reach the hotel. We tried to doordash takeout dinner from a restaurant that was 4 minutes away, but the area had 0 dashers available. So if you’re looking for takeout I suggest picking up for yourself, or eat at Taco Bell or McDonald’s next door.

We decided to go away Saturday afternoon. I was impressed with how easy it was to make the reservation. I was impressed with the king suite. The kitchenette was cute and easy to use. The shower and bathtub were clean and easy to use. It was a great place to stay.

When we got there, nobody was at the front desk. Another guest came in after me. She was not as patient as I was. She used her cell phone to call the front desk, when the gentleman heard the phone he came to the desk. It would have been nicer to have a person there to greet guests.

I booked the last room they had, which was for a disabled person. I have a bad knee and was surprised by all of the bars they had in the bathroom to help a person with a disability. I did not expect this and give them high marks on their thoughtfulness in taking care of the dusabked.

the county is doing a lot of work on the street outside the building. It is very hard to find the entrance to the building. Once the work is finished it will be easy to enter.

Checked in at 2:00 pm. Had to pay extra $20 fee because it was before check in time of 3:00. If no room was available until 3:00 I would have no beef. But to pay $20 extra for a ready room (house cleaning had finished the entire floor by this time) will keep me from staying here again. I have stayed in dozens of motels over the years and check in an hour or two early 75% of the time. Have NEVER had to pay an extra fee.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. Good location for Kings Dominion, just a 20-minute drive and a reasonable price. Pool was refreshing and clean. We had 3 excellent nights of sleep.

Not many restaurants nearby, and there is a lot of construction in the area right now. That being said, we will likely stay again next time we're in the area.

The hotel was close to 95 and had gas, restaurants and other facilities right there. The room was spacious and very clean. I forgot one of my toiletries and they provided one to me. The bed was very comfortable, I wish I could have slept later.

Our room had a slight musty smell. Could have been the air conditioner or carpet. I prefer hotels with no carpet in the room due to this reason.

I loved the location and access to the main highway (Interstate 95). The breakfast was delightful. It was plentiful and beautifully displayed. The area was always clean and the staff were all pleasant and friendly. The room was clean and quite both days.

The television reception was not good at all. Constantly going in and out.

Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent with amazing coffee machine. Pancakes, eggs, yogurt, cereals, a great selection. Beds were very comfortable. Room was quiet by bedtime. Nice Mexican restaurant within walking distance for someone adventurous enough to try it.

There is construction work across the street. Not a big deal, but not very scenic, and it seemed like there was always traffic due to the construction. They said that will be a water park soon, so this hotel will probably be at a premium next year!
