Staff was phenomenal during the storm, anyone leaving bad reviews from during Hurricane Milton is just rude. They worked so hard in stressful circumstances and didn’t bat an eye. The little bar oasis was sooo busy one night and the waitress kept her good attitude, all the food was perfect and the man running out the food was exceptional!

My room was kind of humid but not a huge deal

A good modern budget hotel with spacious rooms. USP is a lazy river - the only hotel to have one in the Kissimmee area. Cleanliness is good and staff were helpful.

The much lauded lazy river wasn't operating for 'technical reasons' during our stay. We never saw anyone working on it and staff seemed surprised that we were disappointed. The fairly large pool deck had just 25 sun loungers and approx 50 chairs - whoever thought this would be sufficient for a 400+ room hotel in a sunny climate needs to think again! Lack of storage space in rooms means you'll most likely be living out of your suitcase....

The hotel is nice, polite staff, comfortable beds, rooms are spacious. It's close to shops, restaurants and entertainment. Second time staying and it was great. Convenient and it's pet friendly. Just needs some updating and some things.

Didn't like that the secured doors that are supposed to be opened with keys we're always open like the ones at the pool that anyone can come from outside even when not staying at the hotel, rear main doors left open with access to hotel itself. Also that there isn't enough Handicap parking spaces available. Having to park so far and walk back with health condition no good. Also pool area needs a bit updating the brick floors around pool area are extremely hot to walk without slippers need something more heat resistant and non slippery. Also the bathroom needs a bigger sink with a bit of counter space. It was uncomfortable no where to put toothpaste or toothbrush. Second time staying here and it's great but just needs updating.

Overall very clean hotel. Very comfortable. Close to our convention and many restaurants.

Check in takes longer than at most places. They charge, do not hold, $160 for security. Most places now, hold the info only, and do not actually debit the account. So now I have to remember to keep up with the charge being credited back eventually. While waiting for a DoorDash order I noticed the couches and chairs in the lobby were very dirty-brown. Which was surprising since all other areas were so clean. The gift shop is great, but the candy and food are overpriced.

The beds were comfortable. The kids loved the lazy river and slide. Having a restaurant on site is convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Like most hotels, anytime someone opens or closes a door it is very loud. We needed to be in bed early for an early morning event the next day but other hotel guests near us were still awake and going in and out of their rooms and the noise from the doors kept us awake. The curtains were not able to block out the light coming in from the pool area which also made it difficult to sleep. The lazy river and slide does not open early enough to use it one last time before check out on your final day.

I went to Orlando to attend a Saturday wedding and did not get back to hotel until late. Instead of breakfast my friend and I decided to sleep in a bit. I did ask to extend my check out and had no problem. I was able to check out at noon instead of 11 which was awesome. Your staff was very professional, courteous and helpful. I was very happy to speak with Caio ( not sure of spelling of name) explained to him I was pressed on time driving from Tampa to Orlando and did not have the time to do a check in before the wedding. He was very professional and extremely helpful. He gave his words that my room was going to be available until 2am. He also was able to get me a space where I could just go in and change my clothes for the wedding - I did not feel pressured to have to check in right away and was able to get to the wedding on time. That’s bc of employees like Kyle that knows how to be professional, understanding, trustworthy and helpful. You are very lucky to have such an awesome employee working for Red Lion Hotel. I would definitely come back to this hotel with no hesitation. The room was very clean, comfortable bed and cozy room.

The shower could have been a bit more of hot water. Otherwise everything else was excellent

We spent the whole day at the pool. My daughter had so much fun on the slide, the lazy river and the pool. I enjoyed myself as well with a cocktail from the bar and a nice book. Time well spent! The room was big. We had everything that we needed. The hotel is close to many restaurants, shops and attractions.

The last time we were there the room was cleaner. This time I do have to complain a little. The furniture needs some cleaning for sure!

I love staying here because we know it's going to be clean! The cleaners are the best, so make sure you tip! They even take down the shower curtains when someone checks out. The rooms are large too, which is nice when you're staying for an extended period of time. Staff was very friendly. The lazy river has new hours and is open longer! Downside was that the pool was cold, so we opted to go into the large pool.

The Mexican restaurant had just closed. We went at the end of April. The Mexican restaurant was our favorite, and the only reason my husband wanted to come back here vs. Trying a Disney property hotel.

Everything was really nice. Our favorite, the pool, lazy river. My husband who is 70 got in the lazy river for our grandson. The room was wonderful. We didn’t have a lot of noise, very sound proof. Location for us was great. Even having to go out to take dogs out in early early morning I felt really safe.

We did visit with dogs, the grass was high around the parking lot where I’d walk them. I usually carry doggie bags but had left them in the room, the dispensers were empty. Our room didn’t have coffee machine .. I didn’t think to check .. so we bought a traveling coffee pot. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping were so nice and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable. Let me mention the pool, we spent an entire day at the pool. One is a huge kidney shaped pool with restrooms and a restaurant right on site. The other pool opens at noon. It has a huge slide and a lazy river. It is a great place to stay. I would stay there again. Close to Disney, shopping, eateries, everything.

The only drawback I found was that it needs updating very badly. The carpet leading down to the room was nasty and needs to be replaced. The carpeting in the room was ok with the usual wear and tear.
