Super nice, great view, very modern and nice facilities

We had to wait almost 2 hours past check-in time because house keeping was still cleaning the rooms. They also said that they do daily house keeping, we did not get housekeeping when staying 2 nights.

The room was comfortable. We really liked having a fire on the beach. This hotel is located close to restaurants and shopping. The views are stunning and just sitting in the lobby with a drink is so relaxing.

I traveled with my brother in law, in his vehicle, and I was still charged the $22 per day for parking. I didn’t have a vehicle that I parked. I contacted the property and they are seeming to ignore my issue. Beware that if you carpool with someone that you will be charged the $22 per day parking fee even. I’m not happy with the way they’ve handled this situation.

Loved the location, beach front hotel easy access to the beach outdoor patio sitting area. Lounge and bar area had a nice view of the ocean. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

The room was a little outdated, so you mainly pay for the ocean view from your room and location of the hotel.

Great location, right on the beach. Love all the lounging areas inside and outside. Nice little touches like free smores, complementary glass of wine. Very comfy beds. Burgers in the bar were pricy but good. It was our sons birthday and Nancy the receptionist made it special by leaving a note and a box of chocolates. All staff was very nice and helpful. Wish we had time to use the 2 hours of complementary bike use. The hotel felt cozy and comfy and we would come back.

Too bad the sauna's were not working yet.

We had the ocean view room 3rd floor... fantastic views and the sound of the ocean was wonderful. Beyond that quiet and not much foot traffic by other guests which was nice. Complimentary wine card was also nice even though we didn't use it. Lobby was inviting and made a great space to meet up and enjoy the view with friends who were guests of the hotel as well. Firepits and seating area outside were inviting. Noise did float up to the room from the firepit area but after 10pm this subsided and we had a comfortable night's sleep listening to the sound of the ocean not people as we had hoped. A walk on the beach is a step away. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The jacuzzi needs updating and some of the wooden boards around the pool area seemed to be loose.

Beautiful location, and wonderful amenities.

The staff. They were all friendly but also very unhelpful. We requested extra towels and blankets on the first day and it took over 30 minutes to get them. The second day, we went to the Front Desk, waited 20 minutes in line to ask for a roll of toilet paper. Rather than just giving it to us right then, they said they would have it brought to the room. 45 minutes later, it still hadn’t been delivered do we had to call the Front Desk to ask again. That said, the bellman/valet guy was absolutely amazing. He was very friendly and gave us wonderful recommendations for places to eat that were popular with the locals.

Expensive Parking with no other options

Great beach front location.

2 nights, nearly $300 for just the parking and a 5lb dog pet fee. Many of the hotels we stay that are pet friendly hold a “refundable” deposit for pet cleaning. We used Booking.com for the reservation. Nothing was mentioned of $40 per night parking, and $30 per night per plus $160 non-refundable pet cleaning deposit. That might have affected our choice for accommodations. Our room #326 was next to the back side of the elevator shaft…extremely noisy early morning hours as people came and went.

We stayed her 2x between 11/29/24 & 12/24/24, and both times we were especially impressed with the front desk and cleaning staff. In November Josh helped us at the front desk, and in December Alex fielded a couple of calls I made with questions, while Owen helped us once we arrived. Without exception they were all personable & professional at the same time. As there had been a lot of rain, we used towels when sitting outside by the firepit, and the woman who was cleaning was also quite nice when I asked for a couple of extra towels. All other staff we came in contact was also terrific, although I don't have their names.

While The Lantern served EXCELLENT food for breakfast, we didn't particularly care for their dinner menu, nor it's limited selection of less artsy dishes.

I booked the ocean view double Queen Bed suite. It was on the bottom story, so I could walk right out my door and see the ocean. There were so many extra amenities that I learned about during my stay. There was bonfires at night with smore's, complimentary wine at the wine bar, 2 outdoor saunas, a full gym and free ebikes to use. The pool and spa area were beautiful. I will definitely be coming back! It was quiet at night and everyone was respectful.

The only thing I wish they had was complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning but there was an espresso machine in the room.
