Our room was a good size and we had airconditioning. The bedding was comfortable and the room was clean. We stayed for five nights and we noticed that it was a safe and quiet surrounding.

The room was clean, and the manager was quite nice. He got us extra sheets and towels when we asked, understanding that we were trying to make the toddler's crib cozy. We forgot a driver's license when we left, and he called right away and is shipping it to us. It's right next to a diner, and super close to grocery stores and pharmacies.

Shower pressure was low (maybe normal for this area?) and the room had a strong smell to it that infiltrated all our clothes. Not sure if it was a cleaning product (my partner thought it smelled like pee).

Loved the friendliness of the staff and the fact that we could see where we were parked from our room. Felt safe there, very nice rooms.

My only complaints were the water pressure in the shower was not great. Also that we were on the first floor and we could hear people walking and stomping upstairs like they were running throughout the night. Other than that it was a good place.

We came at 20:45 and were met by the most friendly hotel manager we could ever meet. the checkin process was quick, the room was large and accommodating, although we did not have the additional bed we needed for our son, but we managed. This shortcoming was little noticed with the big room, and attentiveness of the manager, which did his best to assist. we appreciate all the efforts and will definitely come again

The fact that we didn't have the bed for my son, but again - a little hickup that didn't matter in the long run, as we thoroughly enjoyed monterey, ,Granny's kitchen and everything in this fine establishment

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. This was a very nicely updated motel room and great value for the money. Great laundry facility, also.

The fan in the bathroom was very loud and, unfortunately, was wired in conjunction with the light switch ,so it had to be used. The bathroom door hinges need oil to stop a loud squeek. The wifi is slow and disconnects frequently. Apart from these minor issues, this is a very nice place to stay

The room was clean, staff were friendly, the value for money is really good. Beds were VERY comfortable. Close to lots of amenities. Overall, really glad we stayed here - would absolutely stay again!

The water pressure in the shower is almost non-existent. It was a mist rather than a shower - problematic with teenagers. Two nights we did have people in the room above us and that was very loud as you could hear everything from above. Housekeeping is on request, which is totally fine. But we weren’t sure where to throw trash and, after 5 days, we had a lot. They could also use more hooks to hang towels and coats. There’s a closet but that didn’t help with towels.

Location was ideal only 1 mile from the beach, 2 miles from Old Fisherman’s Warf, and 3 miles from Cannery Row. We walked the trails to Cannery Row and back. Rooms were recently renovated and very clean and staff was friendly.

My only complaint was the bed was too soft for me.

The property was very easy to find, and very well kept. It was convenient to get to a lot of the sight seeing and tourist attractions/retail in the Monterey area. Additionally, the staff was very welcoming when we arrived as well as when we left. I’d highly recommend this property for anyone that is traveling to the area and looking for good cost for your money!

The only thing that I would change about the property/room is the shower head. The shower head only had one setting available, despite trying to spin to the other settings. Otherwise, an amazing stay/property.

Very very clean hotel room. Everything was updated and modern. The room had freshly shampooed carpets which is awesome if you are a germaphobe like me 😂. The room smelled super clean and fresh. Excellent location to literally everything. Super cute little motel. Very quiet outside. We felt very safe here.

The facilities are great, the bed is comfortable and, although they don't offer breakfast, there is a place next door with several options. The receptionist Karoon (sorry if mispelled!) is amazing, extremely helpful and supported us with everything we needed. Her attention was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay.
