The room was spacious. Having a microwave and refrigerator were a plus as we needed to keep my grandson's food and formula cold and when ready to eat solids, heat up his food. The heated swimming pool a plus. The close by restaurant was an easy access to buy food and take to the room. Lastly, the staff was friendly and inviting.

We were placed in a room where there was not a tub feature for my 15 month grandson. Being placed by the stairs made it difficult for my grandchildren to sleep during early morning and late evening as other guest were arriving/leaving. The floor had not been swept leaving a layer of dirt on our feet. Lastly, being in the "flight pattern" of the airport was a little discouraging in regards to the noise level.

Lovely bright foyer, welcoming and helpful reception staff, room was large, bright, clean and bed was huge and so comfy. Pool a big bonus, pool towels provided gratis on request. 10 mins on bus to Downtown Monterey and 30 mins to Carmel - a bargain $2.00 for unlimited bus rides over a 2-hour period!

Was on ground floor with patio doors onto and a view of the carpark, which wasn't conducive to a sense or privacy and/or security. However, the hotel is set well back from the road in a very safe area, so I wasn't too worried. On the other hand, I had the neighbours from hell who kept having screaming matches right outside my window. I didn't complain about them but probably should have in hindsight....and I feel sure the hotel staff would have handled the situation appropriately. Would have used the pool more but there weren't enough loungers - they definitely need more of them to reflect the guest capacity.

Stayed for 1 night passing through on a road trip as a family of 5. About 2miles out from fishermans wharf so we actually got an uber to save us thinking about parking. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, while yes its dated, the room was huge!! The master bed was enormous. Shower was fine..beds comfy.. just what you expect ftom a travelodge. Kids also enjoyed the pool. Dennys over the road for breakfast too. Nice being able to park outside the room. Would recommend checking in before getting your cases from.the car as we were around the back of the property so drove around.

Nothing, exactly what you expect from a travelodge. I had heard bad reviews on aircraft noise. Yes heard a few in the evening and a few before we checked out but they didnt disturb our sleep at all so i wouldnt let it put you off.

My friend and I joined five others for a few days in the area and had a perfect stay at Travelodge. The room was clean and ready when we arrived. Everything looked perfectly tidy and attended-to. Coffee and tea supplies were there, the king bed was made to perfection, a luggage rack was available, as was a hair dryer. The refrigerator with small freezer area just needed to be turned to desired temperature and there was a microwave also. Sheer drapes as well as heavier ones helped to adjust for right amount of light and privacy. We spent some time having conversation down at the pool area and enjoyed that also. I went to the front desk to get an additional blanket and that was provided happily. The heater in the room did work very well but I wanted an extra blanket for sleeping. We were all very happy with our stay; my friends had all stayed there before so chose it again. I did ask for a checkout one hour later than was posted as we needed to have a zoom meeting and had to stay connected during a certain time period; the man at the front desk said that would be fine and we appreciated that. I would not hesitate to stay there again. The area felt safe and was clean and well-maintained. A very good experience.

There wasn't anything we didn't like; a suggestion to perhaps Please put an extra blanket in the closet in case guests need one.

We liked the king size bed in room 128. The type of bed is very comfy and roomy. The room is well maintained and very clean. We liked the pergo style flooring too. The bathroom was nice as well and the hot water was amazing. The heated pool was warm enough to swim even though it was a little chilly with the Monterey climate.

There was really nothing that we didn't like. We had an additional charge on our card, no fault of Travelodge, but the front desk staff fixed it quickly and assured us it wouldn't charge our card. And she was absolutely right. All this customer service with a friendly attitude was refreshing and is why we keep coming back.

I like the fact that it was right next door to a diner and that from the outside pov the hotel looks completely different than the pictures here. But once you go through your balcony or patio doors then it looks nice. Our shower and sink water ran with good pressure and got hot which was nice the fridge is off when you get there so it will take a while to turn on, at one point the power went off because we had all the plugs in and tv on and decided to use the microwave but maintenance lady came And hit a reset power switch turned everything back on. The tv took like 4 min to figure out but we got it on. Oh yeah definitely visit lovers point park (go early before tide) it’s so beautiful with clear blue waters and Shells (if you like finding shells) and seeing little crabs. And if you have children with you Denis the Menace Park is so fun and big!

Our sliding door that was big huge windows did not lock! It was so hard just to close as well. That made it hard to sleep at night I kept waking up to every noise. And one moment I woke up in the night I turned a lamp on and saw 1 roach crawling on the counter where the tv was. It could have came in while our sliding door was open idk? Anyway the hotel was clean when we got there no other problems.

Location was perfect for what we came to do. Price was reasonable for the amount of time we spent while here. Comfort of the room was great and we had a pool side view. We will definitely be back again for future trips and recommend this place to our friends and family. Even though the place is out dated such as the bathroom and the floors in the bathroom we were able to use the facility Completely with ease. We liked how large the shower space was enough room for 2 adults comfortable. The only thing that was surprising for us was the planes flying over and hearing the sound from that. Staff in the Lobby were very accommodating to any requests we had. Erika was so knowledgeable in the area and places to try for dining out with affordable prices.

The price and the restaurant next to the hotel is very convenient. No carpet in bedrooms

Room was pretty cold. Heater was on all night, it helped but not to my expectation. The main door having windows, they were not see through but one of my guests came back from the store and heard a lady moaning. Another of my guests mentioned that it triggered him because it looked like the doors from jail. It would of been great if they never turned off the refrigerators. I didn't read the sign on the refrigerator that the refrigerators were off for whatever reason, until i noticed my coffee creamer a bit warm. There was no desk service after 12am. Good thing we called before they went home and was able to get blankets and that is what we were told

On arrival, i made a mistake with the booking and arrived a day early, which was no problem as the staff at reception Erica was very helpful and able to change the booking. Would like to say a massive thank you again to Erica for your kind welcome and help.. The size of the room and beds were very comfortable. Coffee pot provided which can be used to heat water and they provide tea bags in the room. Good tv channel selection. Complimentary coffee in reception. Next door is a dinner, we had breakfast there was very nice, service and food was very nice. Wish I had gone there for evening meal. Thos dinner will give discount to hotel guests just show room key.

Not against the room, but the hptel os pn flight path, i forgot about it until got woken up at 5am for the first flight out, but that was okay looking back as it was a good alarm clock.

Among all the motels I’ve stayed in, this is the best one. It has comprehensive facilities, and the alarm clock on the bedside table is fantastic—it even supports wireless charging, and for wired charging, you only need to plug in a cable. The motel has both front and rear exits, making entry and exit very convenient. The toiletries are very user-friendly, provided in large press bottles, which makes showering easy and comfortable. There’s a rack by the door for hanging clothes and placing suitcases, as well as an iron and ironing board.

The only improvement needed is the shower—the water pressure is too strong, but the flow is quite weak. A better showerhead would be ideal. Also, the pillows were a bit uncomfortable.
