The room was clean with towels and an extra pillow already in the room. I liked that instead of the individual travel soaps, they had a large container of shampoo and body wash in the shower already. Just made it feel less cluttered.

The comfort of the bed was not so grate. Felt very much like sleeping on plywood with a thin cushion on top. We did not try the TV so I don't know how that worked and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom for the steam during our showers. The parking lot is really small. Beware if you plan on having a large vehicle in this parking lot that it might not fit easily in the parking spots and there is not street parking.

Overall good price. We went on weekday. It was near area where we wanted to visit.

My room was close to road. Had difficulty sleeping with loud cars passing by. Wished room had a microwave. Parking space was super tight. Overall good price went in weekday. Someone argued at 2 am for about an hour and no one stopped came out to try to stop it.

It’s in the center of Monterey, not too far from the nightlife

Parking too small of an area you couldn’t back out your car without thinking you were gonna hit the car right behind you. You can’t park your car. If you had a big car like a truck you were afraid that they’re gonna hit your side.

The room was a good size and clean. It is a very basic room but exactly what I expected for the price.

If there was one thing I could change it would be the bathroom window. It is too low and had no window covering so I felt the need to put something in front of it especially at night.

the room is clean, the staff and front table are helpful, the location is awesome!(10 mins walk to the ocean) and there's a 4-min walk Starbuck nearby. We booked two rooms, and the front desk was nice to let us checked in early

The room size was great and clean. The location was pretty good, I did have a vehicle so it was easy for me to get to Cannery Row etc, not sure how hard it would be to get there otherwise

Room was nicer than expected, looked like it was recently remodeled. The fridge was good size and cold. The bed was a little too soft, our backs did hurt after. Great stay over all, great parking and location for the price.

This motel is so fantastically located. The recreational trail is right across the road and it's 25 mins walk into town. I loved being able to walk everywhere. Across the road and just beyond the houses in front of the motel is the local beach. Just 5 mins walk and it's full of beautiful seabirds. Starbucks is next door for your morning coffee. The office has a microwave in you want to heat up some food. The couple who run the motel are lovely. It's comfortable simple and a great price for a great location.

It's a little noisy with traffic in the mornings so you'll need ear plugs if you want a lie in.

The rooms were simple and big. The owners were amazing and extremely nice. It's in a great location a 3 minute walk to the beach, convenience store about a 10 minute walk away and a Starbucks right around the corner. Perfect place to stay

Very clean and comfortable! Location was only 2 min away from beach and restaurants. Great property owner! Will definitely stay there again.

Gone all day into the evening so room was very warm and stuffy when I returned. I tried to use the A/C but it would not stay running; The problem seems to be in the cord or the outlet it was plugged into. It was 11pm before I gave up trying to use the A/C. I opened my window but the curtain was heavy and fresh air could not flow. I sweated all night as it was so warm in the room. Horrible end to a great day. I would have gave all high scores if the fan worked. Please check the wiring of the fan in room 109 to avoid a possible fire.
