The dog walk facilities went above and beyond. We'd stayed in Ukiah where you have to walk over to a neighboring mcDonalds to find a grassy spot to take the dogs. Marina had "trails" dog walk stations and it made the stay very easy. Huge ada bathroom was very useful for travelers with pets - great shower that was appreciated by the humans.

The bathroom floor was gritty, but then again we WERE staying with dogs so it was not that horrible for us. Just the fact that the dirt that clung to a towel we laid on the floor for the smallest to lie on didn't come from us or the dogs. Rest of the room was pristine and lovely.

Great location - smell the ocean - 2 mins from the beach - mins from stores and restaurants - room was priced reasonable -

I have stayed here several times and will be back but......small issue with 2 things. I booked the room over a month before the trip and noted in the reservation that my wife has mobility issues and we requested a bottom floor so he could avoid the stairs (she tore her Achilles) and when we get there...no bottom floor - and was told that is it first come first severed. That is not right - there should of been a rooms reserved for us well in advance. Also no room service....not a big deal but we were there 5 nights and we had to take trash out of the room after a few days...that policy should be reviewed for longer stays.

EASY AND FAST CHECK IN. THE WOMAN CHECKING ME IN WAS PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT. VERY CLEAN ROOM.

COULD NOT ACCESS THE WIFI WITH THE PASSWORD PROVIDED. THERE NEEDS TO BE A SIDE TABLE NEAR THE BED SO THAT ONE CAN HAVE A BEVERAGE WHILE SITTING IN BED, AN EASY TO REACH PLACE FOR AN ALARM CLOCK OR IPHONE, YOU GET THE DRIFT. i HAD TO MOVE THE LUGGAGE HOLDER AND MY SUITCASE CLOSE TO THE BED SO I COULD HAVE SOMETHING TO HOLD MY DRINK WHILE I WATCHED TV.

The Motel 6 is in a great location, just off the California 1 making it easy to travel up and down the coast, great for days out. However you cannot hear any noise from the traffic. It is close to a Walmart which is great for picking up supplies as well as some fast food places. There is car parking all around the motel, minimising the walk to your room which was very kindly pointed out to us by reception when we checked in. There was free tea and coffee in the mornings and vending machines, ice machines and laundry facilities on site. We had a room with 2 double beds, the linens were clean and layered, we never had to use the aircon in the room as it was nice and cool without it. There was a spacious desk, tv and sink outside the bathroom which is very convenient when getting ready in the morning.

+Location. Literally a couple minute drive (5-10minute walk) to the Marina State Beach entrance. Felt safe and didn’t experience any disruptions from the neighboring rooms +Front desk staff (shout out to Mariko) was amazing! She was very welcoming, helpful, and caring to ensure my stay was pleasant. +Updated facility. The grounds were clean and neat. +Good size parking area +Surprisingly comfy bed with clean sheets. No issues with sleep :-) +Fast and easy check in and express check out ++Secure vending/ice machine and washing machine and dryer room ++Pet relief areas around with doggie bags and disposal

-Room. Could use some touch ups. Paint was peeling off significantly the bathroom door. -Cleanliness could be a little better. -No mini fridge :( -Towels were like sandpaper (but at least they provided more than a couple)

The ♿️ rooms are located in the middle of the complex, and a lot of walking is required. I use a cane and a walker if and when the pain is too bad. My husband also uses a cane. They didn't have a trolley, and only one ♿️ parking space were we were so we were looking for other hotels to go to when the manager and clerk came out to the car to ask some questions. She gave us another room (beds were smaller) but it was on the ground floor, had parking a little closer and my husband was able to roll our luggage to the room a bit easier. A microwave and fridge were in the room also, and that was definitely going to be a deal breaker because our original room had them.

The rooms toilet rocked. The bottom is damaged and I almost fell off. Got a bad case of vertigo. My husband went to inform them and they sent someone over but I was sleeping so he told them they could come back later. We asked for late check out which was 12 noon. With 30 minutes to go, housekeeping was waiting by the door. My husband explained we had late check out. Also, as he was loading up the car, the card key was deactivated well before noon. So I had to sit in the room with the door a jar, getting my things together so he could pack up the vehicle. With housekeeping never far away. Made my husband rush and race so I had to calm him down and let him know we were ok until noon.

I love staying here when I'm in town because the front desk staff and manager are very personable and I am met with a warm friendly smile & a "Welcome back Ms. Herbert!" every time! ☺️ ...plus every room I've stayed in over the years...this includes all Motel 6....has always been very clean, including the entire bathroom and bathtub & the bed perfectly made with fresh clean linens every time!.. so thank you housekeeping staff! ☺️

The room was advertised as a basic room and it was nice and comfortable. It was easy to get in & out of the room and the parking was near my room. The check in was fast and checking out was easy. I also liked the bathtub. It was bigger than some other locations and I was able to relax in it before going to bed. The exit and entrance to this location is really easy to find and get on my way, so I believe I will return.

There was a very bright light on the stairwell shining into my room. The curtains did not block out the light, so it was hard to get to sleep with that light. Maybe they can put a thick liner on the shade curtains.

Very friendly staff, check in was fast and easy. This place was very close to the beach and restaurants. The Dennys right next to the motel was the fastest Dennys I have ever been to. The food was hot and yummy. Our room was clean and the bed was so darn comfortable. It was also a pretty quiet place. There were a lot of professionals there staying for the week. Fresh coffee in the morning is free in the lobby.

I wish there was a blow dryer in the room and maybe a fridge

Surprisingly nice (by Motel 6 standards). Hardwood floors, friendly staff, nicely kept grounds, FANTASTIC location. The room was clean, we definitely didn't experience the typical "dirty" feel of a motel.

The windows should be their next renovation. We were there on a particularly windy night and the wind was blowing so hard that our curtains moved even with the window shut. The bed linens were thin and the pillows might as well have not been there as my head sunk all the way through them
