We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with complimentary drinks that added a thoughtful touch. The entire staff was kind and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. A special thank-you goes to Raichel, who went above and beyond after we accidentally left our suitcase behind. Her dedication and personal care were truly exceptional — she not only arranged the transfer but also made sure to follow up directly with our next hotel. Service like this is rare and deeply appreciated. Definitely a place we’d love to return to!

The room is spacious. The breakfast service is nice. I like the waffles and the hard boiled eggs. We stayed in a room facing the back of the building so it was quiet.

The carpet can use some cleaning. It looks clean but my son's socks turned black after walking on it. This is the same issue that I found on another guest's review. One morning I did hear airplane noise but the rest days are fine.

It was great place to stay. Sadly no ac but does have a box fan and the weather was amazing down there like always. Pool was great and the spa even better. The breakfast was really good just gotta get up early to get to the best variety to eat. The bed was super comfy. Everything was awesome and the workers are real nice and friendly. Overall great place to stay and I would go here again.

The first impression of the property was clean. The koi pond as you walk in is very welcoming. The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. Our room (a King) was so nice. The bed was one of the very best I have ever experienced at a hotel. The best thing was the water pressure. I know it sounds like a dumb thing to mention but it was so nice to take that nice shower after driving all day I think it was a definite "selling point" - we had a great stay!

The location of the hotel on the main road, however, I did not encounter any traffic jams and problems with both exit and entry. At the Venetian, the staff serves guests quickly and efficiently, and you have to wait only 2 minutes for special requests to be fulfilled. The room was large and spacious. Breakfast exceeded even my expectations - hot machine making Pancake and delicious coffee.

The room was a bit cold at night, and we could not find a switch to turn on the room heater. At night it was 41 deg F. The entrance from the parking lot to the hotel should be unlocked on the intercom, not on the card, because guests with a lot of luggage have to go around or again a second time to the car, and after the fatigue of a long trip there is not always the desire and time.

Room was spacious, nice and clean. Breakfast was pretty good compared to similar inns we stayed in during our trip. Very close to Monterey downtown and best viewpoints, but also to stores, etc.

The only draw back is that the room was VERY noisy, with heavy traffic from the street (that is pretty close) and also planes landing/taking off very early EACH morning from the airport nearby.

The hotel location was close to places that we wanted to visit: The Monterey Bay aquarium, cannery row shops/restaurants, the scenic ocean view drive, 17 mile drive, beaches.

Breakfast included with our stay was good, it would be even better if there were more choices for protein: scrambled eggs and sausages.

BW has done an outstanding job in updating and upgrading its properties! This was our second stay recently in a BW, and both times they impressed! Very clean, well put together, and beyond our expectations!

What's not to like?

The hotel is right next to a Denny's and a BBQ type resturant. In addition, there is a CVS across the street. Overall, the hotel is your average hotel, but the staff are GREAT!!! The customer services was one of the best I have ever received from a hotel.

The place is a little older and there was no AC in our rooms. However, Monterey rarely gets crazy hot.

The rooms are not bad, the bed is comfortable, the room has a microwave and a coffee machine. It is convenient that you can take a pet with you, for it there is an additional charge of $ 30, it is worth the money. Nearby is a bowling alley, open until midnight. The staff is pleasant and responsive.

Breakfast was bad, cheap coffee, the same cheap sandwich, apples and oranges, several types of buns, jam and instant porridge. In general, there is no point in going to breakfast, I rate breakfasts no more than 3 on the 5th scale, or even less. In general.
