Price, location and friendliness of staff.

The price was the lowest we could find in greater DC. We were there for four days. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic. Connecticut Ave is a main road and is easy to get to by car from the west or north. It is right at a bus stop and two blocks from a Subway Metro station. These unlock Washington for you, and you do not want to ever drive or park a car at any of the many sites in DC. A car is inconvenient while there, but you can park it onsite for a fee.

There was no microwave. We had to go to another floor for ice. You inconveniently need to use your room card key to use the elevator, but this was likely for necessary security purposes. There is no onsite restaurant, but many are on the street nearby.

Clean room, comfortable bed, only two stops short of Dupont Circle for about $1000 less for the week. Convienient for tourism for sure. Also, hot water for showers every day. Dry Cleaner on right hand side of hotel and Italian restaurant on left hand side of hotel. What could be better?

It is an old hotel, the paint and the carpet should have been updated a decade ago, also no gym or pool, but it does not pretend to be a 'luxury' accommodation. Many international - budget conscience traveler stay here. Chinese, Indian (Sub-continent) Turkish, European. Me from the US and Portugal.

The location is excellent. The metro station is just a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to access all the major attractions in the DC area. The neighborhood is also quiet and safe. While the rooms may be a bit outdated, they provided everything I needed during my 5-night stay. The staff was very nice and kind, and my room was cleaned twice during my stay, which I appreciated.

One thing that could be improved is the addition of a water dispenser for visitors so that they can get free water in the hotel (currently ,you can get water only from one vending machine downstairs).

Location was good

Unfortunately, the actual rooms are very different from the photos. The rooms were quite dirty, and someone was smoking in the neighboring rooms, causing the smell to seep into ours. The hotel hasn’t been renovated in a long time—the bathroom was worn out, and the walls had cracks. On top of that, we faced an issue with the crib I had requested for my baby. The hotel responded that they would provide one if available. However, upon arrival, a staff member told us that they never had cribs in the first place. Had I known this in advance, I would have brought one with me. Instead, I had to sleep with my baby on a high bed, and I barely slept due to the stress of worrying that my child might fall.

Everything was what I was expecting close to everything great location. The restaurants around the building were so good and the staff was very helpful with my kids and baggage. Over all at have a great stay.

I didn't like passing extra for parking especially since it wasn't mentioned before booking the room. No coffee makers in the room we crazy you have to go to the front desk to make the coffee and then walk back around to your room. No cost direction on where to park either. The parking thing really bothered me.

The location is nice, fancy, and quite and not too far from the touristic attractions. The room is comfortable and clean.

They ignore my request for early check in and when we arrived the morning receptionist lady was so tough and unfriendly, and though the room was empty and though we have sent an early request for early check in, she insisted to pay for the early check in 40$ or to wait for 3 hours, because she noticed that we are so tired and I think better to earn people instead of earn money specially when you already not a cheap price!!

Beds were extremely comfortable and very clean. Lots of light in room and easy to get close to well lit mirror for applying make up etc. There was a free coffee machine in reception and well stocked vending machines. Location was perfect for me - very near to Van Ness metro station red line plus there were also nearby bus stops. Close to a ‘Giant’ supermarket, CVS, an award winning bakery, Potbelly’s and Starbucks to name just a few. I was visiting family who live on Van Ness NW and this was only hotel I could find in vicinity but it was fine.

Although website said daily housekeeping on arrival there was a sign on reception saying housekeeping was once every 3 days unless requested. I had to ask for some fresh towels and I got them. There was no wardrobe as such in room, only 2 hooks with 3 coat hangers on each but this was really only downside. Furniture looked quite new.

The location was great, close to a metro station and still walkable to more central areas of the city. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom was clean. Parking was reasonably priced. Would recommend and stay again.

Everything was fine and there wasn't any major problem. We didn't like the feeling of the carpet very much.

I booked my room at the last minute to come see the Cherry Blossoms. I read the reviews and went with it. It was super close to the metro (red line). There was a starbucks and several restaurants within walking distance!! The room was huge. i really wish it had a baby fridge, but we had a cooler and got free ice. Neighborhood was quiet and seemed nice. Which made a difference as I was traveling alone with my daughter. I had to slam the door when leaving to make sure it closed, but otherwise, I was happy.
