The crew was simply amazing! Nice people always willing to help! The location is just great for the price, it take about 25 mins to walk down to the white house and the national mall. The area around the hotel is very nice with lots of bars, stores, restaurants, plus a CVS, a Trader Joe's and a Safeway store! Couldn't ask for more! Also its very safe to walk in the neighborhood at night. This location is just a couple streets from one bus line and the other bus line goes right in front of the hotel.

No complains at all. The building is a bit old but the staff do their best to keep it looking nice and clean!

The staff was very polite. The bed was comfortable. The room was cosy. Free coffee and microwave usage at reception. The neighbourhood was quiet and nice, very friendly area. I would come back here. Perfect value for the money! Location is good, 15 minutes walking distance to the White House. The bus stations are nearby for other parts of the city.

No parking slot. The facility is a bit outdated, would be nice to renovate the bathroom and windows. The isolation isn’t perfect regarding the noise from other rooms.

Very good location for the price, free coffee or tea, friendly and helpful staff. After first night we had problem with the ventilation of our room ( it was very moist) and after we reported it the staff changed it immediately.

They should prove a place with tables where you can sit down to eat your breakfast/food and not to eat front of the reception. The airco was very lood in our room, but it worked fine at least;)

A very simple but nice and clean hotel in a calm area though walkable distance to the city - 30 mins to walk to the White House. The stuff was very polite. They have coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby. The room was spacious with 2 queen beds. There is an iron in the room. Everything is a little bit old fashioned, but very clean, tidy and it’s really worth the price. I would pick this place for my next trip to Washington D.C. for sure.

Nothing bad to say

Exceptionally quaint for the cozy budget traveler. The most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. Hands down. Great central location in a neighborhood with walking distance from everything also very quiet.

Being a bit dated, the wall paper is a bit of a headache, the internet is a little slow, window blinds are a little torn. But those are all oversight and can be fixed easily still didn’t have a negative problem.

There is a lot to like about Windsor Inn. Compared to other hotels it is reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and helpful, the room was a good size, shower was hot and there was always coffee and tea available in reception. They also have a left luggage option. The hotel is on a bus route with regular buses into the centre of town, which is a 20-30 min walk away.

The cleaning ladies phone ringing loudly at 7am on the weekend outside my room. The furniture is tired and would benefit from being replaced.

The Windsor Inn is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location…close to major sites. But, you should know the rooms are small so if you are thinking about spending a long periods in your room this is not the place for you. Extra pluses: main desk staffed 24/7 and good hot coffee in the morning.

For my purposes, visiting relatives and sightseeing there is nothing I didn’t like.

Good location - 10-15 min walking to Dupont Circle Metro station and around 30 min to the White House. Quite and safe neighborhood. The room was clean and quite comfortable. They don't have kettle, cups or coffee maker in the room, but there was always free hot coffee at the reception. You can also make tea or use the fridge or the microwave.

Wi-Fi level was unreliable in my room. If you're planning working from the hotel room that might be the issue :(

A very affordable hotel in a centric and wealthy area of DC, and 10 blocks away from the White House, with all the nice restaurants, convenience stores, and Subway lines. Couldnt ask for more! I arrived at 3am and I was yet received very nicely by the night manager, who told me where I could find an Open 7-11 at that time, because I was starving.

Great hotel for the money. Location really good--active neighborhood but sufficiently quiet at night so that there was zero noise in room. Pleasantly old fashioned.

Rooms very small. No parking, but that was OK because I found on-street parking two blocks away. this would be a problem if it were not a weekend. Old and quaint. don't expect modern hotel.
