Location and beautiful house and rooms.

Locks were unpredictable. Sometimes worked, sometimes couldn’t open front door and/or door to my room. I would call for help but typically didn’t get response until 30 minutes or more later. Had to depend on another visitor to let me in one night.

A prime location a block from the Metro and The Pembrooke. The bar and dining scene at The Pembrooke is first class! During the storm the stairs were salted to ensure safety. The room was cozy and very comfortable for our stay and offered a nice view of the street from the bay window. The communication in preparation of our stay was excellent and set us up for success. The Welcome Letter and a couple of bottles of water in the room was a nice touch.

More toilet paper and kleenex. We would not be on-site when housekeeping was so it was difficult to request for more of these items. Having an additional comfortable seat or small couch would have been nice so we could watch TV together without sitting on the bed.

Everything was great except for a couple of relatively minor things. See next section for details.

1. Rooms need silverware. 2. Refridgerator had a high pitched screeching sound. 3. Our unit was quite warm when we arrived. We could not figure out how to adjust the thermostat to turn on A/C so had to open a window instead. Luckily the weather was perfect so this was not a problem.

Great location for the metro and within walking distance of the national mall. Pretty, quirky house. Room was a great size and facilities good. Good communication from the host. Easy check in and out. Plenty to do around the area with bars, restaurants and a great coffee shop right around the corner

Location cannot be beaten. It's the perfect spot in Washington with access to every part of the city by metro. Great bed! Enchanting room. Superb. My second time staying in the exact same room!

The front door lock seems to work whenever it decides to.

The location is spectacular because of its proximity to Dupont Circle and the metro station.

Someone needs to put a mat in the bathtub, pronto! Almost slipped and fell. That's my only serious complaint.

Location and charm

The interior door handle fell off. The chair is old and tired. Also, should have a small loveseat to accommodate two people if needed. TV instructions would be nice, printed out next to the TV

Location. Close to Dupont Circle. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Keypad on the door doesn't look like one until you touch it to light up. Old style bathtub and shower, but it's fine. Easy to get used to it.

Love the location! Steps away from metro but very quiet! Room is clean, warm in winter and cozily decorated. Manager always accessible and helpful. It’s my go-to for my weekly stays in DC.
