the room was so clean and comfortable! I did need some assistance getting into the building (before my check in time) and the support staff that I called (number listed on the door) was incredibly helpful and stuck with me the whole time!

more lockers for luggage storage would be nice, that being said, there was a locker available when I got in!

The great location on the road leading to the White House made it very convenient for sightseeing. The room was impressively clean and well-maintained, offering a pleasant and comfortable stay, while the flexible check-in process added to the overall convenience of the experience.

The only drawback was the limited parking availability, with the nearby parking garage being quite expensive; however, the hotel was upfront and transparent about this issue. Despite the parking inconvenience, the rest of the hotel experience was satisfactory, making it a worthwhile stay.

Clean, plenty of heat from the room heater, snacks and coffee available in the lobby. Friendly staff when they were present. Comfortable bed.

Freezing hallways. Ran out of bottled water for a day. I asked for fresh towels, in an email and chat, two days before I checked out. I asked twice. I never received fresh towels before I left. Luckily I saved one bath towel to reuse for my checkout day shower The young caretaker told me she had been off for two days. But it wasn't her fault. The messages I received said they got my messages and that the towels would be refreshed by someone. Later I learned there were fresh towels in a cupboard in the lobby bathroom. It would have been helpful it there was a notice in the room telling me where to get fresh towels if needed.

The hotel is old, but clean and maintained. Fridges in the basement and the first floor allow for food storing. The location is off the center (bus services are unreliable, but cheap walking works too), but the area itself is really nice. Very good restaurants in the area.

There was no place to hang the towels in the bathroom and the bathroom door was broken. The house is very loud, you get earplugs for free.

It was the first time I stayed somewhere without really any staff & you entered the building & room by code. I wasn't crazy about that at first but I figured it out. I also didn't like the shampoo rack in the little shower. It stuck out a little too much & was positioned poorly.

Super small but cosy room. Good location and easy check in and check out with no problems even tho no reception was there.

The shower and toilet was in the same place and there were no shower curtains, nothing. So when showering the water was splashing everywhere. The tv remote was not working, and it is not tragical because we do not come to watch tv. However on a rainy day when we had to stay in, it was a problem for us to use tv.

The digital-first approach was really attractive. You can tell that they know what travelers need in 2022: eg ample outlets, USB and Ethernet ports, easy and secure luggage storage. There’s also no need to talk to anyone for check-in or check-out, but support is still easy to reach and immediately helpful. All information and notices are provided by email and text.

A water shutdown was announced in advance for plumbing works. Unfortunately, the water was cut earlier than the announced time, which meant I couldn’t finish my shower. We received a fair partial refund for this issue, though.

Perfect location and very cozy rooms! I traveled alone as a woman and felt absolutely safe in the hotel and surrounding area. Will definitely come back, when I go to DC again. Had all the amenities I needed after a long day of sightseeing.

Absolutely nothing to complain about!

The location was great, perfect for exploring the city. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Great value for money!

Parking near the hotel was difficult.

The location is GREAT! The rooms are great and the bed was one of the most comfortables I’ve had in my stays, very warm and soft.

Although you can grab groceries and food at a walking distance, it would have been great if the place had a vending machine or something. Also, it’s a little bit pricey for what you get (the rooms are very nice but it’s not a hotel).
