We have long been familiar with the Georgetown Inn, which is located in a prime location in the heart of the Georgetown area of Washington, DC. We stayed there a few years ago and the facility was dated. Apparently, earlier this year, the interior of the hotel has been refurbished totally. Excellent results. The interior of the hotel now is very modern, clean, attractive, convenient and comfortable. Our room was very spacious and attractive (king size bed, couch in sitting area, excellent television, beautiful bathroom). Our bed was extremely comfortable. Even though our room was in the front of the hotel on one of the two main streets running through Georgetown, our room was quiet and we were able to sleep in both days. We definitely will stay here again.

The room did not have a microwave, which would have been nice. The room had a coffee and tea maker, which was easy to operate and produced excellent drinks, however.

Very friendly staff on reception. Really comfortable bed. Room much bigger than expected. Very clean and well equipped. Tea, milk and water topped up daily which was nice and the fridge was useful.

The bathroom felt a bit dated compared to the rest of the room. Would have been nice to have a kettle. The coffee maker didnt really boil the water. The restaurant attached was very expensive and not value for money. Perhaps a discount could be offered for hotel guests.

Great location. Great customer service. Clean and quiet. Great restaurant experience at the hotel. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Metro less than a mile from hotel.

Room didn't have a mini fridge but we could request one. Which we did. Felt bad for the employee who had to deliver it and put it in. Apparently suites come w mini fridges but it seems like common sense to just have them in all the rooms.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable if you want to be in the heart of Georgetown, and it’s also the closest hotel to Georgetown University. The street is lined with great restaurants, cafés and shops and is 1- min walk to M Street. The hotel is charming, but in need of some renovation and updating. When was there the weekend of Jan 27-28, there was work being done in the lobby, so I’m hoping next time I’m there I’ll see an updated lobby. There are two bath robes and two slippers in the closet, which adds a nice touch.

The bathrooms are very dated and in need of updating. The pillows and bedding are sub par. For the prices this hotel charges, I was expecting a much more luxurious bed spread and some fluffy king size pillowcases instead of the mini ones on the king size bed. There’s also no fridge in the room.

Room was very comfortable. Would have been even better if there was a mini refrigerator - not a mini bar. Just a fridge. For the price, I thought that would be included. Staff was very friendly and top notch with one or two exceptions. Maids, waiters, and parking attendants all great. Food in the restaurant was good.

Room service tel# on the phone in the room was apparently not correct. I pressed the button and dialed the 113 extension with no answer. When I asked the front desk, they told me the tel# was either 114 or 120 (??)

The staff when we tried to check-in (around 12:30pm) was excellent-our room wasn't ready so when we Did check in at 4:00pm-our room wasn't ready still and the afternoon staff was rude, gave us an bad room next to HVAC units (even though the gentleman on the morning check-in staff suggested she give us an "11 room" the only thing she could say is "NO"-I will never stay there again as long as she works there

Location is perfect. Close to everything in Georgetown. Staff was great. Room was very clean and comfortable.

It’s an older hotel and a little tired. Doesn’t detract from the comfort and it’s all fine, just shows its age in places. My room on third floor overlooked Wisconsin Avenue and it was a little noisy because of the older windows. I’m from NYC, so it didn’t keep me up, but not quiet. Gym is tiny, tiny and bike was out of order, leaving just a treadmill and some dumbbells as only equipment in the gym.

Love the location and the room was very comfortable. The car parking was very efficient, the staff quite professional, and the restaurant’s berries, granola and yogurt always good for breakfast.

The bathroom could use updating and the TV has no streaming service. We couldn’t get the remote to work properly.

Close to Georgetown hospital

Parking was additional. Already on budget with hospital stay and stress from that, then to find out when we get there that parking was valet only and an additional cost that was not disclosed previously.

Great location and decent hotel. They changed my room because of a humming sound, super friendly staff. Big rooms.

I need an electric kettle which was not in the room. Also at reception they could not help me.
