Very comfortable, clean, stylish and modern accommodation in an excellent location suitable for business or tourist visitors. It's five minutes walk from Georgetown, fifteen to Dupont Circle, twenty to the Whitehouse and thirty to the Washington Monument. It's a minimal service hotel so what you get is a very smart reception and public lounge area with really helpful and friendly staff and a nice room where everything works but not much else apart from some meeting rooms and a small terrace so if you're looking for a place with a bar, restaurant and bellhops and so on then maybe this is not for you. The King Studio's are very large and suitable for longer stays. Apart from that, there is a Trader Joe's very conveniently right across the street from where you can get groceries and, aside from a very decent little Thai place right next door, as many bars and eating places as you could possibly want just short stroll away in Georgetown. One tip is that the DC Circulator bus runs every 10 minutes and has stops very close by that will get you to and from Downtown and Union Station for one single, solitary dollar. Another is that Foggy Bottom Metro is less than ten minutes walk away from where the Silver Line runs frequently to and from Dulles Airport for $6.75.

Nothing really. The Air con was a bit loud and having to use the contact card to operate the lift was a bit of a pain but I somehow survived the experience.

Location was great. It was clean and it was rather large.

No air conditioning. The staff told me to just sleep with my windows open, but then, because it was a ground floor unit, people were smoking pot leaning against my window. I asked the front desk for help. Paul the security guy was sitting on the couch and he said “I can’t do anything about it. They will just tell me it’s public property”. I texted management about it the next day and told several staff but they didn’t offer anything but “Sorry and I hope it won’t happen again”.

The room and furniture were dated. The kitchen was from the 60s, the appliances literally were, but they worked. Very little cutlery.

Nice, big and comfortable beds, great location and nice view. Staff was also very nice and helpful.

The junior suite was a little bit smaller than I expected (actually not as suite but a room with a fridge and a microwave); it was on the ground floor and instead of a balcony it has an enclosed backyard-like area with a table and chairs which I could not use because of the Winter weather but may be interesting in the Spring. I was surprised that the fridge did not have a freezer compartment and there were no utensils at all-- only a single cup for coffee. I would have appreciated a sofa as well as plates, forks, knives, etc. Since one of the appeals of the place is that it has microwaves. Otherwise it was very good. I like the fact that there are fans available in the rooms which can help to mask any noises.

We booked one of the hotel’s apartments for our family of six, and it was perfect for our stay. The apartment had everything we needed — comfortable beds, an equipped kitchen, and plenty of space for everyone. The employees were all was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the Metro, which made getting around the city so convenient and there is a Trader Joe's grocery across the street allowing us to save money eating in. Overall, it was a great base for our family vacation in DC. Highly recommend!

This is a nice hotel, with nice convenient apartments. I liked having a full kitchen. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a few minutes walk to bus and Metro stops so it was easy to get wherever we needed by public transportation. It is also walking distance from Georgetown, which is a nice area to walk around in.

The folding bed was not very comfortable and there is no closet room for clothes etc., which we really needed since we stayed a whole week.

I liked the size of the rooms we are a family of 5 and had plenty of room, the living area and fill kitchen was great also. The metro is a couple of minutes walk, and bus route goes by the hotel. also there was cafes/ Delis and grocery stores nearby too.

Rooms a little dated, kitchen needs updating

First of all we booked this room because of the availability of 3 beds(2 queen/full and a pull out sofa bed). Now we were mind blown by how huge the room was. It’s more like an apartment, with the bathroom and bedroom in a different room from the living area and the kitchen . The kitchen made it very convenient to make breakfast especially because we were traveling with little ones. The staff was amazing, the basement garage was convenient, just a tad bit pricey, now you can avoid the parking fee by parking off street(free in weekends after 9pm). The location was very convenient, we were able to walk to restaurants and the even all the monuments! Now this is doable if you don’t mind walk for 20mins average. The best part of it all Trader Joe’s is literally across this street, very convenient if you ever need anything (groceries, wine, toiletries ). So in overall it was a wonderful experience, we felt comfortable and we were able to sleep comfortably, which is very rare in hotels by the way.

It’s a bit outdated , could use a little bit more work. One of the vanity countertops came loose, the caulking sort of like melted off or something.

Great location, a few minutes walk from foggy bottom metro and 15 minutes walk from Farragut north. Just a few minutes walk to Georgetown. Quiet area but centrally located to everything. Comfortable bed, quiet room, easy to get in and out. Trader Joe's across the street is very convenient. I asked for a few plates and some plastic ware from front desk, and with the fridge and microwave never had to go out to eat. Having the 24 hour front desk is great.
