Room was exactly as expected, with a comfortable and functional pullout for a third person. Great location, easy driving distance from the mall and surrounding attractions. Lovely staff, good breakfast.

The pool is pathetic - a tiny rectangle in a dank basement with no natural light. And the advertised lobby bar/cafe does not exist, although it appears that it used to. That should be taken out of the listing.

Very friendly staff. Super clean, comfortable, and large rooms. Although I was there during a huge snow storm that shut the city down, they maintained and even had the attached cafe next door open the 2nd day. Lots of great places to eat nearby: Potbelly for a quick bite, Tatte for fun pastries, Chef Geoff’s, and Planta - which is a delicious vegan sushi place (with all you can eat for $30 on Monday evenings!

NOT a huge deal: My room only had a black-out curtain (which was GREAT), but no sheer curtains - which would be an improvement so you can see outside, but have a little privacy during the day.

The property was just lovely. It was located in great area and was near lots of much needed other venues. The breakfast was amazing. The free cookies and hot chocolate just made both myself and grandsons stay a little more special. Onamica at the front desk was so pleasant and very accommodating in making our short stay very special. Richie was also very pleasant and informative. We are looking forward in returning to your property soon!!

We wished we could have stayed longer!! It was a short overnight stay. We were bringing my eldest grandson back to Howard University. I wish the breakfast time on Sunday morning was a little longer.

I really liked the location of the hotel. You are literally in the heart of the city and within walking distance of a lot. I really liked being next door to Walgreens. Parking is next door which is a huge plus. The room was clean and housekeeping was friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The parking rates were all screwed up. It says it's $30 to park overnight but that was not the case. We could not understand the parking rates because they were unclear. It is located on a busy street and very humid in the hallways due to the on-site pool.

Breakfast was delicious and with a variety of choices. The only wanting thing was the juicy. Please maintain the orange juice instead too much apple and I’m sure you noticed the low intake of apple juice. I also suggest that you provide at least 2 bottles of water per day in the fridge that would be great. Otherwise it was a great stay in Hyatt place. I will remain loyal to you and I compared my experience to the one I had in Dubai and I can still root for you. Thank you

You shouldn’t have substituted orange juice to only apple juice. You could have put a bottle of water or 2 in the fridges in rooms.

Room was lovely!! Very spacious very clean and comfy, I really loved it. Had a lovely ‘feel’ to it. Location was great, however not familiar with the area, Im unable to comment. In terms of places to eat around the area - it was great.

Oh the parking next door!!! Please tell all your patrons going forward that it is in fact $52 not $31. The poor attendant was left with the job of telling us. You can tell your patrons that your valet parking is a cheaper option.

Overall good stay, close to Downtown and most of the monuments. Staff was courteous. Provided support for Valet parking as required. Few restaurants were close by so food was not a problem. Having Gas station opposite was helpful for someone who may need it at night or before departure.

Sofa cum bed can be cleaned from past guest departure as it was not well cleaned like the rest of the room. Parking service was highly cost but I can understand considering downtown area. May be during Weekends can be relooked at it downtown area charges less for parking. :)

excellent breakfast, great selection of healthy foods. room was adequate for our needs, location fabulous, everything in walking distance, otherwise it's an uber ride away or metro access a short walk away, would stay again.

breakfast ends early - for travellers from abroad, this was difficult to manage due to jetlag internet was sketchy (high floor) and some days there was none, contacting reception by room phone was difficult! We always seemed to get the Corp office support line instead of just downstairs... whats going on with that?

The breakfast was amazing; we had different options for all four days and our kids enjoyed it. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The amenities were provided when requested. The location was convenient. The stores, restaurants and public transport were nearby. The staff at the restaurant was welcoming. The swimming pool was clean and towels were available.

One staff at the reception was so rude. I would not mention the name but she should change her attitude and pay attention to the customer. The unhelpful gesture and not seeking assistance from a supervisor to solve the issue with her computer system, cost our whole schedule disruption that afternoon. Our first impression towards the hotel was not good but later Mr.Oni made our stay pleasant.

Staff were very welcoming after a long journey and offered us an upgraded room as we were there for a full week, which we could access the following day. When I asked the same member of staff the following day about the room upgrade she had offered, she was very dismissive & short with me, so we stayed in our original room, which was fine. Every other member of staff from reception to cleaners to catering staff were helpful & engaging. The place was beautifully clean all the time & is perfectly located for easy travel around the city, both for walking & using public transport. Huge room for 3 & sofa bed was pretty good. It would have been palatial for 2.

Breakfast was adequate in content but completely chaotic. There were too few tables available for the size of hotel & the placement of food, which forced the queuing system was really badly thought out. I don't think the time breakfast was open helped very much either. (7.30 to 9) Would have been nice to have been able to open windows in the room & the room had little natural light. (Difficult for make-up application, apparently) But these were minor matters & didn't distract from an overall great stay at The Hyatt.
