Situated opposite the old city, very nice room and wonderful space! I was lucky to have a view of the old city and creek. Rooms were comfortable and well stocked. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I arrived after a long flight and ordered room service - food exceeded expectations and was incredibly cheap compared to other restaurants in the area. It was lovely to explore the area across the creek via Abra ($1AUD), is a little far from the main tourist district/Dubai Mall etc but nothing a taxi or short walk to the metro can't manage. Would stay again!

Unfortunately, my only dislike is when asking for staff to call me a taxi, it was insisted I used the 'private hotel taxi' which absolutely overcharged me (I took a proper taxi for the same distance and it was half the price). I felt I had to go out of my way to ensure I had a regular taxi to the airport (again, half the price of the quoted airport transfer!).

The location of the hotel is pure gold, in a wonderful part of the city, right next to Old Souk - spice, gold, perfume. Rooms with the Creek view gives additional fun of staying in the hotel. Al Ras MS is 3min away by foot, and abra/water taxi station 5 min, which gives you great connection with major attractions in downtown Dubai, as well as Al Fahidi & airport. Rooms are nice, spacious, with comfortable beds and cleaned daily. All toilet amenities and towels are available, as well as hot water. The staff in the hotel are wonderful, they are polite and a real gentleman.

There is always space for upgrades and improvements so is with this hotel. Light refurbishment and food diversity would bring new value to this facility, and make it even more appealing for different kind of travelers. It definitely needs some refreshment in design, but the overall atmosphere is friendly and peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay in The George Hotel because of the proximity of interesting historical spots in Dubai. It is also near the Al Ras Station and Traditional Spices Souq. I specifically appreciate all the kind, helpful, and respectful staff who assisted us namely Mr.RAHUL, Mr. BASHAR, & Mr. IMRAN. These three gentlemen should be promoted and rewarded as they did their jobs exceptionally. Thank you, Rahul, Bashar, & Imran. 🤩

We did not like the attitude of one front desk employee/receptionist named Ms. Jen. She was rude and not accommodating to guests most specially for Filipinos. We find it unprofessional and disappointing.

I stayed at hotel George by Saffron Deira for 10 days from 13th January. The location of the hotel is just awesome as it stands bang opposite Dubai creek and the sight from the room is breathtaking. Just across the road there is a Corniche where one can enjoy exhilarating walks. The front desk staff is very helpful especially Shahid and Haroon who always try to go out of the way to help the guests. Housekeeping staff is one if the very best I have come across anywhere. Obe suggestion: the management must upgrade the restaurant and improve the quality/number of breakfast dishes. I will certainly return to stay at this hotel.

The size of the room was mind blowing, the views were amazing. The bed was very comfortable.

The windows were very dirty which obstructed the views, was not east taking photos, it was embarrassing sending to photos to family and friends. The windows do not open for fresh air. The bathtub was clogged and the decoder was not working on arrival. The refreshments and snacks are TOO EXPENSIVE, we did not eat or drink anything, if it was cheaper and more affordable, we would have had everything. SMALL PROFIT IS BETTER THAN NO PROFIT. It is convenient having it there but what's the point of pricing it so high, it is a disservice to your clients. One of your staff at your front desk is not pleasant to deal with, has no customer and communication skills. Your Porter had better skills and was pleasant to deal with.

Location of hotel is good. Excellent Creek view + near metro station + near gold souk + good restaurants near by.

The bathroom flush was broken and sometimes did not flush properly.

We stayed at this hotel for one night before our cruise, we choose it because it was close to the airport&port. We definitely made a very good choice and will come back any time. When we arrived at the hotel they upgraded our room and we got a really big and nice one with a perfect view on Burj Khalifa, the creek and our cruise ship, all from our room window! Brilliant view! The staff is super friendly, always helpful. We didn't have problems with noise at night as I read some other reviews.

In general, my experience with hotel service is bad, and I expected the same with The George Hotel, but when I entered the hotel to complete my reservation process, my view has completely changed to extremely positive. Really, the right employee in the right position is very important. Mr. Haider, the receptionist, showed high efficiency and professionalism in his work, which made my stay at the hotel more comfortable. I thank the management of The George Hotel and especially Mr. Haider. George Hotel will be my destination whenever I come to Dubai. Best, Mohamed Ibrahim

I do like the view from my room’s window + the kitchen service.

This is an excellent location, with a view of Dubai Creek. It is close to the Gold Souq, and quite accessible from the Airport. The Al Ras Metro Station is a short walk away. The room was big and comfortable. It had all the conveniences required, and housekeeping was very good. The breakfast was a delight, with Indian dishes every morning. The staff are courteous and quick in service. I would definitely return to this hotel in my next visit, and highly recommend both business and leisure travelers to check it out.

The value for money is great; it outweighs the outdated facilities, however, the noises were still a bit disturbing. The view was beautiful, the creek crossing station is nearby and metro station Al Ras just behind the corner. The hotel is located in the Old Spices Bazaar, where you can also find good quality nuts and dry fruit. The Gold Souk is very close. Hotel offers 24/7 food service. Service in general was very good, great value in this sense:)

We could hear everything from the room above us and next door.
