We had such a wonderful time at this property! The rooms were large and the beds were comfy. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The property is not huge so I feel like every room has a beautiful view, be it garden or pool/ocean. This is definitely a wedding venue! There were about 10 while we were there. We didn't mind it. There were also bunches of kids but we didn't mind that, either. The spa was wonderful!

The food in the Japanese and Mexican restaurant were very good. The buffet that was open all the time was hit or miss. Even if the food was tasty, it tended to be cold. We did end up working around it but If you are a real foodie, this isn't your place. We did not go to the French or Italian place.

It is a beautiful hotel, the bedrooms are beautiful and spacious - a very luxury feel. The lobby, pool area, and gardens are beautiful. The food was amazing, and there was a great choice of restaurants and bars, and some evening entertainment. My child is an electric powered wheelchair user, and she had no issues getting around the property- Everything was very wheelchair accessible and the staff were very kind and helpful with anything she needed. The bedrooms as standard have roll in showers, and access to the sink. The wheelchair accessible room had empty space access to the sink basin and a raised height toilet. We were able to use the spa, and the treatments - massage and facial - were amazing, and the staff were so lovely. It is a very well managed hotel, and the manager was able to sort any issues out very effectively, which is a huge credit to this Dreams resort.

The bars close too early at 11pm, and even the desires nightclub finishes serving alcohol early. The towns of Cancun or Playa del Carmen have great nightlife, but both about 40 minutes away. Service in the breakfast buffet was always very slow to get drinks. We had 2 rooms booked. One of the rooms was not cleaned on several of the days, which was frustrating. There were not enough pool beds available for the number of people. We were rarely able to get pool beds. It would be great if the hotel could provide wheelchair accesible specialist beach chairs so wheelchair users can access the beautiful beach.

The property was beautiful and easy to the navigate. The staff was wonderful and we had an amazing time.

The property is surrounded by mangroves so if it rains little bugs come out, but that’s not the staffs fault.

Everything about this resort was in my opinion was Top Standard, I liked that it was a slightly smaller resort as this was my first All Inclusive experience. the resort was clean and well kept, the staff were exceptional, the food was really good, I'm a fussy eater! my favorite restaurant was Seaside grill and I really enjoyed the Buffet, Room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed and bed super comfy! this resort lived upto expections 100% and currently rebooking to go back

Loved the amenities!! All inclusive with room service 24 hours. Staff was super friendly and warm. Food was delicious and the variety of restaurants was a plus. No reservation needed. Good entertainment at night every night. Food by the pool and beach area was really good too. Drink service by the pool and beach, so you don't have to worry about getting up to get drinks. They come to you.

Pool had lots of algae, I know this is out of the hotel control but there was only one person clearing out the strip of beach all day. Because of the beach condition, the pool areas were very crowded. We were unable to find a seat by the pool. There were not enough shaded areas by the pool and the cabanas are reserved for an extra fee. Entertainment at night is really loud. You will hear it in your room all night. Saturday the music was on until 2 am, so if you have kids, be ware.

The breakfast at the buffet was okay, not the best. It is unfortunate that we were not allowed to eat at the preferred members only spot for breakfast as that food was much better.

I didn’t like that the buffet was the only breakfast option. We got to try the steakhouse place for breakfast but it was a preferred members only spot. We liked that breakfast more than the buffet and wish we could’ve ate there everyday as an all inclusive meal.

Everything: we checked out of a different hotel because it was nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. But Dreams Riviera was completely different. It was so much better. Even if we don't end up getting a refund from the first hotel for checking out early, it doesn't matter. Dreams Riviera was excellent and we will be returning to this resort next year for sure.

We didn't like leaving at the end of the vacation. We all wanted to stay longer.

I LOVED EVERYTHING! This was the BEST TIME OF MY LIFE!! There for Sons wedding and Fun around every corner, food everywhere, swim up bar, kayaking, weddings, music, out door movies for children every night, the massages were NICE and Relaxing, lots of guest to chat with! karaoke, BEST OF ALL WE WERE CATERED too by Super nice Employees and there were A lot of them Everywhere. always asking what they could get you or do for you!! THEY didn’t miss a Beat! From room service, to dinners to pool service! Lots of Nice restaurants to choose from! I was so impressed I want to go back next week 😂

The long waits for COVID testing! our appointment was at 10 and they skipped a bunch of us and was working on 11-12 o’clock ppl. so had to wait 2 Extra hours for nothing what’s the point of making an appointment?? then had to wait 11/2 hours for results

I liked that the property was always well kept. When we requested items from the front desk, they brought it right away (toilet paper, water) A few Big shout outs to a few: 1. Faustino, the bartender at the swim up bar 2. Freddy, the concierge- He always made sure we were always good. 3. Clever, the bartender at the main lobby. Service was great that we went to each one of them to give extra tip on our last day.

The bars closed around 11pm. The only other bar that is open until 1a is the one in the club.
