In my opinion the best option for 1-2 nights if you have a layover at Cancun airport. The hotel is located closer to the airport than the center of Cancun and much quieter and calmer than the chaos of the city center. Located near the highway, where you can always find minibuses and taxis going to the city center. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the Internet is fast, a nice little garden with a pool, a traditional style restaurant like a buffet with reasonable prices - pay $ 10 and you can take any food yourself. Guests are also offered a free transfer back to the airport.

This is not a disadvantage, but rather something to keep in mind - the hotel is located somewhat remote from the center of Cancun. Around you is the jungle on one side and the highway on the other. There is nothing to do there except to rest a little after a transatlantic flight (or the day before departure) and move on.

After being in the city for a week and so many people and noise this was the most wonderful way to end my trip. They allowed me to check in early and stay until the last check out time. The family / staff here were extremely friendly and accommodating! There is some road noise but if you choose to just listen to the sounds of the trees and birds , you will not notice. I felt safe and respected, as a solo female here for the day and night. Very close to the airport and the food was delicious and great value. Nothing is high end and some not brand new but it is so cozy and inviting ! Don't come in expecting a large menu full of options. All is made in house and is delicious . The location, accommodations, pool, environment and staff are fabulous value for the cost. I will definitely be coming back when I come to Quintana Roo again !

Good value & location close to the airport. Basic, yet clean hotel in the jungle near the main road. Has a pool. Selection of local mezcal/tequilas (local brands).

Booking.com map is good, while google map shoved hotel on opposite side of the road and a bit shifted location. Despite being ~5km from the airport taxi charged us 700 mexican $ (~35 eur). Cancun aeroporto taxi industry is worth a separate drama/comedy/triller series... Connect with a hotel to arrange free transfer (we understood that it is available only while leaving the hotel and used it to get back to the airport).

Cute Mexican style hotel. A lot of effort to create an inviting appearance. Comfortable King Sized Bed! Not the typical rock hard bed full of springs. Big room. Hot water. Monkeys and an agouti! Really appreciated the early morning ride to the airport. Nice looking restaurant on site though we were not there during dining hours. If you’re looking for a typical American style hotel, this isn’t it, but if you want a clean, comfortable, affordable Mexican hotel, this one is nice.

Trash disposed of at the edges of the property. Nice pool but the water was cloudy and green. Because it’s on the highway there is traffic noise but I didn’t notice it at all when going to sleep.

Great location for staying close to the airport for a flight out the next day. Free transport to the airport 4:30am in the morning!

Hotel Tequila was a meeting place for our party to start a birthday celebration with my daughter and friends. The staff was extremely nice, and accommodating. My room was clean and the food served delicious! Loved the monkeys on the property!!!

The bed not too comfortable, but for one night not a deal breaker. My only real issue was the Air Conditioning didn't cool the room quite as well as the other rooms our party rented.

- Mariano, from the reception staff, has been amazing. I arrived on my own and had to spend the whole day there awaiting for a flight. He’s made me feel like home all day!! - the place is beautiful, the pool is big and beach-shaped, with beautiful decorations and a lot of different chill and seating options to enjoy. - there’s resto service (delicious breakfast!!) with very normal prices. - they have free shuttle to the airport (10min drive). - the room was gorgeous, modern and clean. Bed super big and comfy, pillows and all. Free coffee all day and a little arrival gift (water bottles). TV with loads of channels.

Great overnight stay by the airport. 20 minutes away. I didn’t want to stay in a chain hotel. Cute Mexican style. Outdoor pool. Outdoor diorama of tequila making process. Nicely landscaped area. Nothing else around. Right off the highway. Google maps has the location wrong however hotel sent us a pin. Taco shop out front. Second restaurant also on the property. Took us to the airport on time in comfortable car. Decent shower pressure. Decent, two twin bed, into king bed.

Nice hotel, close to the airport. Very pretty with al the lights and plants. Perfect stay for departure / last day because it is so close to the airport. The very best margarita's and very tasty food! Staff is friendly, with free transportation to the airport. We stayed here the first and last day of our vacation (arrived late and departed early). I would recommend!

Hotel is located on a very busy road so it is very noisy. But still would come back.

This is the best value hotel I have found in Cancun. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The hotel area is nice and well-managed. It is close to the freeway, but you can't hear that when you are in your room with the a/c.

I like the place. It is close to the freeway and parking can be a little tight on the hotel grounds, but it's good. It is obviously not in "Zone Hotelera", but it is not very far from the center.
