beachfront and close to nature. The manager Nicolas was very nice, welcoming and very helping. Property is located very close to the beach and giving the real beachfront experience. We enjoyed hearing waves and cool breeze at night.

Facility is run only on solar, so expect to have no electricity after midnight once solar power is consumed by hotel. so no wi-fi after that and need to charge your electronics before that. This was not mentioned in the listing for the transparency to guests who are booking through Booking.com

It's a very secluded beach far away from the crowd. The kitchen was well maintained and the owners were very helpful with everything that we needed. The reviews before were saying about bad beds and yes the beds were horrible but during our stay the owners replace them and now they are amazing! A perfect place for a personal retreat.

There was no blender in the kitchen and the freezer was not working because they use solar power. Don't go there with bad weather. It can be very windy and wet inside of the room

Lovely rustic beach-house-type hotel right on the beach! Very tranquil location, minimalist-style rooms (loved), clean kitchen, super nice host, and a few friendly dogs. BRING FOOD and DRINKS! The access road is poor, so taxis charge a lot for the short ride from town (10 minutes or so) = 250-300 pesos each way. Other than that, you're basically in paradise for a very reasonable rate. People running the place were becoming fast friends. Just on the ocean, water and winds are constant guides. Connected to nature, fare away from neighbors and everything else. Has a camping and hostal vibe. Facilities are minimalistic.

Unpaved street to the place is very rough. Please be aware, that it is not easy to reach. Some taxis are not driving on the gravel street reaching property. They may want to drop you off ending paved street, 20 minutes to walk still. Come equipped with water and food.

This is a magical destination, for serenity and Caribbean beauty! Everything is simple, practical, very clean and peaceful! The hosts, Juan and Ana are so kind and welcoming. I felt like part of the family with them and their two boys. They are an example of living life to the fullest, exploring the world, sharing their passion, focusing on family and nature, carefully using the resources and giving back to the environment. Casa Kayab is simple happiness! It's rustic with conveniences. If you need to find yourself, this is a good place to start! (plus their cat Moon, became my best buddy!)

The only hurdle for some would be the road to get to Casa Kayab as part of it is a dirt road, full of potholes and bumps, and after a rainstorm might be impassable. I did not have any trouble but I can imagine this could be a problem.

The location was beautiful, with breathtaking views from the sliding door, both at night and in the morning. Leaving the door open at night lets the soothing sounds of the ocean come inside, making it even more special. The sunrise in the morning was stunning, and I loved watching it as the waves crashed. I will definitely stay again!

My flight was delayed, and I arrived at night, making the drive somewhat confusing, though not difficult.

It was right on the beach, it has everything you need to cook, we were greeted by Sebastian who is very nice and told us where to go snorkeling and fishing. You can walk on the beach for hours.

The road to get there is very rough, Im an experience driver in that kind of road and didn’t have any trouble even with a small rental car, just go slow and manage with care and youll be ok.

Location is perfect. We had a car so it was not a problem to get there. Kitchen is amazing. Room had an amazing view with a constant sound of the see. We loved it

Well, we knew what to expect and for us it wasn’t a problem. There is no electricity at night, so you need to charge everything before going to sleep. But I mean, it is just an extra thing to keep in mind.

This is really a good place for people who want peace and quiet and a local experience. You are far away from the hustle and bustle. We loved the homemade pizza ! Staying here is like staying with a family you have not seen for a long time.

Each positive has its negatives, this place is quite a bit out at you can only reach it via a dirt road. We had a rental car and have experience driving dirt roads so it was not a problem for us.

Such a beautiful space! Lovely family, I wish I could have stayed longer! It is 20 mins down a sandy road, bring some food! Bed was comfy, hammocks were lovely. There is a fire pit, a nice en-suite bathroom, full shared kitchen access. Water shoes needed in most areas. Paradise. Absolutely paradise.
