Very friendly and professional staff. Great value for a spa hotel, but definitely more expensive than a typical hotel. We have tattoos, and there was absolutely no problem using the spa area. The hot baths and sauna in the men's section were great. There's an all-you-can-drink self-serve 1000 yen bar area - yes, it really is 1000 yen and yes, you really can have anything you want from a selection of excellent shochus, sakes, but also wines beers and whiskey/gin/vodka.
The women's section unfortunately doesn't have a sauna. The infinity pool's cute and warm but a little shallow. The sauna tent never really gets hot. The rooms are big, with a great bathroom and chill-out area, but there's not a lot of room for larger suitcases.

Extremely nice staff that were very willing to help us out with reservations and spoke perfect English. Very clean and comfortable room with a nice view. The onsen was spacious, the rooftop pool was heated and quite large. There also is a tent-sauna on the roof.
Nothing comes to mind

Excellent resort-like style hotel within 5min walking distance from Beppu Station. Super convenient if you’ll be using lots of public transportation to & from local areas. Not as many restaurant options nearby but the hotel itself was clean & new - service was great. Our twin room was very spacious with a separate bath & shower room. Modern tech integration with iPad software control for lights & aircon but con is that the digital lights at the control panels at night were too bright in the rooms (we had to put paper & tape over some to make the room dark for sleeping). They offer complimentary drinks in the lobby area, you pick up your own Yukata & belt from the lobby for the onsen upstairs. You request for bottles of water from the lobby daily but they should just provide a refillable water station where guests can refill themselves instead for a more eco efficient solution. The roof infinity pool was lovely both in daytime & night though night time tends to be more crowded. The onsen was lovely & clean. Overall decent hotel & we enjoyed ourselves.

Property was spacious and clean with an excellent location. The ipad in the room provided easy control of the facilities in the room. There is also a happy hour promotion that is a good deal and popular with guests. The rooftop pool is gorgeous as well, especially by night.
Staff were generally rather clinical and lacked a hospitable vibe. There were complimentary “welcome drinks”, but this was quite poorly executed as it is essentially a self-service concept; a simple served non-alcoholic cocktail would have provided better impressions. The shower area also reeked of a sewage smell and there was no bin provided near the sink, which is very odd and inconvenient.

Fantastic location within 3-5 minutes walk from the train station with several restaurants and amenities nearby. Hotel is relatively new and has a lovely reception area. Rooms are adequately sized for our family of 2 adults and a 8yo.
Housekeeping was patchy during our 5-night stay. Despite having several cleaning options, the room was not fully made to the daily requested housekeeping level eg 2 out of 3 beds were made, towels not replaced. There was alot of dust accumulated on the top shelf of the hanging closet which we had an unpleasant surprise with our clothes. Parking instructions were not given clearly at check-in ie we have to validate the parking ticket on a daily basis even if the vehicle did not leave the carpark. Please give clearer instructions if possible. The onsen needs clearer instructions on bathing etiquette as the bathing areas were filled with litter not cleared by previous guests.

Was a nice place for an overnight relaxing spa hotel. The onsen were great, had the warmer one and cooler one. Just remember to bring the towels from your room. Sauna in the onsen was much better than the rooftop one but that is to be expected (More insulated). Rooftop pool was warm and provided a great view. We happened to be in beppu when the fire festival was on, so at first we thought the hill was burning uncontrollably but later realised it is just part of their celebrations. Just lacked some softdrinks in the bar downstairs which would be our only suggestion to add. Breakfast was a huge choice of Japanese and western cuisine in a buffet. Room had two futon beds and two Tatami mat/thinner fold away beds which our kids slept on. Very relaxing.

Great hotel! Located three minutes walk from the train station. Great staff, fast check-in/check-out despite the fact that the hotel was overcrowded these days. There were also queues at breakfast, but the hotel team distributed people well and we didn't have to wait long. The rooms are clean and spacious enough for Japanese hotels. We also had a great view of the city. Well, the main advantage is the wonderful onsen and the amazing pool on the roof, which is open all year round. Looking at the stars in the winter sky while swimming in the pool is incredible!
There are no disadvantages - sometimes there were queues, but we were there at the peak of the winter holidays and this is normal. The staff coped well with any problems.

Close to the train station (5 min. Walking) and comfortable. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. The yukata you can use during your stay is a nice touch, also the nice plastic woven bag and the good quality pajamas. The hotel has a more modern look than the others in the same area, didn't use the onsen because we visited others in the area. Good variety of breakfast options. The non-alcoholic free drinks are water, juice, tra coffee and probably a couple of soft drinks, nothing extraordinary but good to have
The breakfast area was busy and they were pretty inflexible with check in time, couldn't get in a minute earlier. But then they close the onsen area from 10 am, so we couldn't use it before check out. Staff is ok, a bit cold. Amenities (brushes, onsen towels, etc) were only available at the onsen and not in the rooms or reception, unlike other hotels.

Loved the design of the building. Rooms are spacious with deep soaking tubes, auto lights and informative touch screen monitors. Everything in the hotel was clearly labeled for non-Japanese visitors. One can check out a cute selection of yukatas for the onsen. The ¥1,000 all U can drink/free flow Happy Hr was fantastic with a decent variety of beverages. Breakfast with a nice assortment of tempuras is the best!! Discounted validated parking at ¥500 a night is convenient. Would absolutely stay here again.
Nothing really. The staff was very helpful and many speak fluent English.

Modern, clean, good location with splendid roof pool and jacuzzi. The big bath is on the 14th floor, from where the view is also great. There is a good sauna inside the big bath and the 16 Celsius degree’s small bath is just next to the sauna. The arrangement of the room is also convenient, since the toilet and the bathroom are separated. So, the room is relatively spacious. At the backside of the hotel, there is bamboo fence, which makes the building more attractive and environmentally conscious.
As for charging connection, the USB-A type is becoming obsolete, so it should be changed for USB-C type.
