The whole hotel appeares very new and clean, and rhe room is very comfortable and spacious enough. USB ports are provided beside beds and near the desk. The breakfast, while offers a limited choice, was still valued for money. The prices for dinner sets are reasonably priced (cheaper than dining outside) and the food quality was good. For the location, it is just opposite to the train station. Also I like it's on-sire free hot springs onsen. The water was hot enough and it was very comfortable to have a spa there. Highly valued for money given the price.

The self-help check-in process is a be trouble for the guest. It essentially shifts the burden of entering guest personal information from the receptionist to the guest himself, which is not guest-friendly at all and I am not so impressed about it. The coffee machine broken down during breakfast time and only pre-made coffee was available.

The place was nice and comfy, together with the location, the stay is impeccable given the price and feels better (a little newer, a little more spacious) than most in the same class. Most importantly, there was an apprenticeship female staff (of course other staffs also!) who was really helpful. It really makes this stay stand out from others.

Perfect location, just opposite the station where you can talk buses to Kannawa area and to Oita Airport. A few minutes walk to Takegawara Onsen. Onsen was really good - make sure you try both. Price includes dinner (you can request for dinner in room) and breakfast buffet. Spread includes seafood and some chicken. You are also provided a cute yukata for use. The room itself was basic and a lil bit old.

Location is extremely good (opposite the JR Beppu station) so it was easy to travel to sight see from buses and travel to the next city via train. Room was clean and quiet. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to try out the onsen at the hotel. The hotel was also close to many restaurants which made it easy for us to decide where to eat for dinner after a long day trip or two.

Room was a little older in style and my room had a slight funky smell but nothing intolerable.

Fantastic location and great value for the price. Breakfast at ¥1000 was filling and had a nice selection of Japanese food, including curry. We were able to get breakfast on the same day even though we didn’t book in advance. Front Desk is at the second floor.

Onsens would benefit from cleaning the “windows” and ceiling from the mold. I understand that the environment is wet, but black mold over the painted scape is not nice to see. Artificial plants in the onsen also need a good cleaning. As a suggestion: provide two keys for the room. As onsens are gender separated, one of us had to finish bathing earlier and wait for another person in the room to allow entrance.

It was nicely close to the train station and all the onsens and restaurants! The free onsen access from staying at the hotel is also an amazing plus! One of the better onsens out of all that I tried, highly recommend!

Very very very clean and spotless. This hotel was the only hotel I've stayed at where I *didn't* find other people's hairs or dirt on my bed sheets, which I loved

If you pressed me to say something, maybe I'd say that the rooms had a bit of a smell. But the rooms were kept very clean and have extraction fans to suck out the smell.

When my wife and I first entered, we were greeted by a lovely young lady. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name but she was cheerful and really helpful. The room was nice, it was clean and the location was very convenient. Plenty of parking spaces too, just down the road a little bit.

Good location next to train lines and shopping area, the staff were friendly with some English. Onsite onsen was a bonus after a long day. Make sure to ask for yukata that fit Westerners as they do have them available.

Checkin instructions as you walk in the front door need an English translation saying to go to second floor

Excellent location, directly across the road from the main train station. Staff were very helpful. Onsen facilities were great. Room was clean and spacious considering most Japanese hotel rooms are tiny.

The hotel seems a little aged, but everything was still kept very clean.
