This was my first time staying in an APA Hotel and i have to say I was impressed, even after staying in another one the next day. The staff was exceptional, kind, helpful and accommodating. Especially the lady that handled our check out and helped us with our luggage forwarding to the next hotel went above and beyond. The location was amazing, 3-4 minutes away from the Beppu station while carrying heavy luggage. A short walk away the area was full of restaurants but the hotel's position was totally calm and quiet. The room and bathroom were adequately roomy but not big by any means. The smoking room inside the hotel was very convenient in the cold windy weather and with great ventilation.

Location was great. It’s nice that the hotel is located near the train station as everything is accessible.

The Air Conditioning in the room…I think the use of the AC unit was centralized. We tried adjusting the heat settings to the cool settings but it wasn’t working. On the first night of our stay, even though the heater was not switched on and I wasn’t using the blanket/comforter, I was sweating the whole night… The second night was better because the cool settings were already adjusted. Other than that, everything was okay.

The location is as good as it gets within Beppu Station. A minute walk to the station and bus stops, and a short walk to Beppu B-Con Plaza, Beppu Tower, and Beppu Park. The amenities are superb, and the hotel never misses giving replacement towels, pajamas (kimonos), and toiletries.

While the breakfast quality itself was good, it would have been much better if the breakfast changed every morning. Unfortunately, we were served the exact same meal every morning. A switch in side dish or main dish every now and again would have been better.

I really liked the hotel and I loved the town. Everyone at the hotel was kind and considerate. I thought the food was good, but it's not a buffet. The rooms were clean and comfortable. So here is the deal, I don't like to experiment with food-but I was so glad I did. Go to the tourist office for great information.

Parking is limited (12 spots only) and there's no reservations. However, If hotel parking is full, then on the opposite side of the station there's parking for your car. Tiny nitpick of mine. However, overall it didn't affect my staying in experience and certainly would book with APA BEPPU again in the near future.

The room was as advertised, comfortable, and clean. We found amenities all in order. Location is very close to the Beppu train station which is great for late arrivals or early starts, both of which we had. Shower was very good.

Just a caution for some: the bed and the room itself are not large. Some couples might find the room and bed to be a bit on the small side.

The Hotel is less than 5 mins walk from the station. Many great onsens within walking distance. The place was clean and always changed new towels and tooth brush,razors,etc almost daily. Staff was friendly and always greeted you when you come or leave.

It would be great to have a bath house within the hotel.

It has everything that you need from a decent room, toilet, facilities, and location. It was situated a minute walk away from the train & bus station at Beppu and that in itself was super convenient. Staff are super friendly and attentive as well. It is worth, reasonable and decent for its price range.

The AC/heater was not working, but on fan mode. But this was communicated quickly and was not much of a problem for us.

A good hotel just a 2-minute walk from Beppu station. Awesome staff, clean room with basic facilities and great view of the hill at 10th floor. Clean bathroom and toilet. Walking distance to main street, station, bus stop, and many onsens. Highly recommended. Delicious Japanese style breakfast was included. Beppu is a great city

Very close to the train station, but far enough away from the noise. My requests were accommodated (eg quiet room, no cleaning). The bed was really comfortable. The air con was powerful. The curtains were thick which kept the room dark at night (so easy to sleep in!). I slept well at this hotel.
