It just needs a few little touches the make it 4.5 star to 5 star. You have the framework for an exceptional stay. It just needs warming up in places. Here’s my recommendations: The lights are too bright in the villa, it needs some dimmer switches The onsen lights need to point up not down, we moved them to make it less bright, it was better this way There is a curtain for privacy in the living room, but not one in the bathroom! The lounge needs just softening a little, dim the lights, have a few plants inside. Your butter for the bread should be slightly salted Crispy Onion on the salad isn’t my choice for morning breakfast, I’d change it for something lighter and fruitier. No USB ports in the room, we later found an adapter but could use more USBs

The location is very peaceful and quiet, but only a short drive/cycling from main attractions. The room is very spacious and stylishly designed. Very comfortable to stay in. This is also the first time I stay in a hotel that takes in room coffee making seriously. The fresh coffee beans, the high quality hand grinder, electronic scale and pour over tools/filter allowed me to make a great coffee the same way I do at home. Staff are also very nice and helpful.

The room, when heated during cold weather, can get very dry. It would have been nice to have a humidifier in the room. Larger moisturizing cream in the room would also be great.

The property is spectacular. The level of attention for the guest is unmatched. We were so well taken care of, the staff were amazing. We would especially like to thank the man at reception on 23th and 24th of March - sorry we didn't catch your name, but we would like to say our warmest thank yous! Our room was spacious, heated floors, great design, everything was well thought out and the natural materials made all the difference. The bathroom was amazing on its own but the outdoor bath was simply incredible - being able to relax with a bottle of the finest 7c wine in the hot water under the rain was magical. I also have to mention the incredible breakfast - the selection of locally grown products was so special, we enjoyed our mornings to the fullest! We can't recommend 7c winery and villa enough! We only wish we planned a longer stay so we could enjoy more time in this lovely place. I hope we get to return again in the future!

The property was luxurious, it was just perfect for a relaxing break. The staff were extremely attentive and any requests were met. The extra touches like loungewear and a coffee maker were great. It is worth also booking a meal in the restaurant the wine pairing courses were delicious. I’d say the sparkling wine is the nicest I’ve ever had!

It’s located in a bit of a remote area for tourists but actually I don’t see it as an issue if what you want is a relaxed time away from the world. There is an amazing market shop, cafe and restaurant next door and Mt.Fuji stands just out of sight but the tree lined Mountain view from the room is amazing. We walked a 5 mile walk around the north of the lake and it was beautiful with Mt Fuji in view. The town is very peaceful, a wonderful experience overall. Taxis are 5 mins to the station too.

this was my fifth time in japan and this is probably the best stay ive had. the property is newly built so it was immaculately clean (although no housekeeping, we were there for two nights). the staff is incredible, friendly and warm. the breakfast delivered to our room everyday was amazing. i recommend booking at least one dinner at the restaurant, the food and service were exceptional. the complimentary light meal was already good enough. they also have a store a couple of steps away from the hotel where they sell a lot of high quality souvenirs. the free winery tour and wine were a nice touch.

7c Villas and Winery. Near Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji. Fabulous zen like modern place. Wood furnishings and even a heated floor for the cooler days and nights. Excellent heating system. Rain shower. Private deep ofuro - Japanese style bath tub in your own outdoor walled off courtyard with seating are looking out on your private garden. We stayed in a Mt room (Mt. 6) but I think all the mountainside rooms would be similar. Amenities include pajamas, lounge wear, Uniqlo warm insulated rain coats (when it’s cold), rubber clogs (like crocs) to wear outside. In room modern coffee grinder and kettle. Amazing and full breakfast brought to your room. This place has its own winery. Very peaceful and relaxing here even if Mt Fuji view areas are crowded with tour buses. We highly recommend.

Most of the instructions to operate the water heating and tub systems are in Japanese. Also no instructions on how to use a coffee grinder, but you can YouTube using the name of the grinder. Except for the breakfast staff and the manager, reception staff have limited English speaking skills.

Stunning, lovely room great staff and good access for Mount Fuji.

Location was an 1 hour - 1 and a half hour taxi ride from Shinkansen station. 20.000 yen there and 40000 yen back. They should possibly have a shuttle bus service as I would definitely return if that was the case. Also restaurant food looked delicious how ever no vegetarian options. The staff worked really hard doing breakfast for our vegetarian but we would have eaten in the restaurant most nights if there had been more variety. Beautiful hotel room 10 out of 10.

Very new property with an interesting concept. The rooms (or 'villas') are clean, large and spacious, with a private hot tub and garden, smart TV and heated bathroom flooring. Plenty of amenities including a Uniqlo jacket to wear in cold weather, loungewear, pyjamas and slippers (not allowed to take these with you, but felt comfy and good quality). Free dessert at check-in and the breakfast was delivered to our room in a nice wooden box. All the food was locally sourced and included salad, hot clear soup, bread, yoghurt. 1 free 'apperetif' which is a set of three appetisers is given per stay, which I actually found quite filling and delicious. Very friendly staff. Overall would highly recommend.

We drove and there was plenty of parking, but it does seem a bit more difficult to access without a car. There is no daily housekeeping (inc towel change), the attendant explained because it was a short stay (3D2N), implying longer stays might have more regular cleaning. There is no view of Mount Fuji

This winery & villa is a work of a small group of passionate people and it really shows in every little detail. We immediately fell in love with the design and atmosphere of the location. Our suite was beyond expectations, beautiful, convenient and clean. The staff was also amazing and we really enjoyed the complimentary winery tour they offered. We also opted to try their dinner course which proved to be a great decision - every dish was a masterpiece! We were really happy to choose this premium experience and we felt good investing into the work of a small winery that provides excellent quality. We had the perfect experience and our only regret is that we didn't book more nights!

My husband and I stayed here for one night to see Mt. Fuji. From the second we arrived, we received top notch service. I left my jacket when we headed out and they were able to send it on to my next hotel, I am so grateful that they did that for me!!! The dinner and breakfast was a nice touch, it truly made the experience feel luxurious. Way too many extra amenities to list. The room was huge and modern, the bath on the back patio was awesome. Even though we weren’t there long, we managed to use it a few times. They provide bikes which we used to get to some of the nearby attractions, super convenient! We recommend taking a taxi from Kawaguchi station to get to/from the hotel if you’re taking the bus to get there. It isn’t far so it was around ¥2,000, which was worth it to us since they’ll take you up to the door of the hotel and you don’t have to wait on the bus. We would recommend 7c villa&winery to anyone considering it, you won’t regret it!
