The View is great if you have a Mount Fuji focusing Room, They offer Tattoo Cover Ups for 250Yen (I meant that’s amazing I couldn’t find any on my own) so you can use the public bath. Location ist quite great for a walk in the morning or at night. Staff was very friendly and helpful, not everyone of them is good in English but the translation app helped. Breakfast has limited Western Options but the have cereal and bread. Room ist spacious enough for luggage and bags

Rooms and Facilities are a little aged, many Chinese Tour Groups choose this Hotel therefore it can be a little louder sometimes but the room in generally quieter just some Chinese families arguing - there is no Convenience Store nearby you will need to walk about 2km (per Way) but you can buy basics at the hotel as well as souvenirs (reasonable priced). Bathroom is a little small but I am 185cm so I don’t think it’s a problem to shower with head down. They were actually really nice I can’t understand the bad reviews the staff is amazing only some other Guest maybe annoying and yeah it’s not soundproof like a 5* Hotel but you get a great view for a reasonable price. I would recommend

Good location on the lake because buses aren’t so reliable so knew we could always walk back from kawaguchi town or train station. Fuji view hotel room was a great size with a beautiful view. Bus stop outside hotel and free shuttle into town

We were booked into a smoking room originally and unsure if this was through my own fault or hotel filling rooms due to busy Cherry blossom season. Luckily they had one available non smoking room because the smoking rooms were very smelly.

Affordable stay for a fantastic view of Fujisan and the lake in nice weather from the lobby/in front of hotel. The included breakfast buffet had a good variety with hot croissants. The rooms were a bit dated but clean and well kept with a kettle and mini fridge. The rooms were a bit small (no view rooms) which was fine for a few days, the view rooms were larger (previous trip). The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was decently sized with amenities and sleepwear provided. There is a private onsen with a fantastic view that could be booked for 3000 yen for an hour. There was also a shuttle bus to the station which was incredibly handy and had to be booked in advance. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

It is rather far from the station but the Fuji tourist bus stop is very close to the hotel. There are no convenience stores and only one dinner restaurant within walking distance. It is a tour hotel so breakfast and the lobby got rather crowded at times.

Breakfast had a great selection, especially love the hokkaido milk they had. The view was also perfect. We had a room with a view and saw Fuji from it. The staff also makes a great effort in cleaning the common spaces. They also provide free shuttle services from the Kawaguchigo station to the hotel and back to Kawaguchigo station during certain hours (check with the hotel for more details). The onsen was also adequate for us.

Staff were not trained to speak english. There were also large tour groups that crowded the breakfast area and the outside areas; I wished that they could perhaps have the tour buses parked elsewhere so as not to block the views from the breakfast room and perhaps have a separate space in the breakfast room (I saw one) for the large tour groups.

Staff is super polite and help me with my food allergies. Buffet is a great value for breakfast and dinner. Mostly fresh and unprocessed food. Hotel is clean and temperature is ok. Fuji view is amazing from rooms and buffet area.

Internet is a totally disaster. Don’t expect to work here without a personal data plan or even upload some instagram photos. There are “WiFi points” but even been there is imposible to have a stable connection. You loose connection after a while, takes time to reconnect, and is slow as hell. Second, noise. You can listen all conversations from another rooms, even using good ear plugs. Specially with tourist which like to speak louder. Walls are like paper and isolation on windows is poor. I moved to another bed far from the windows and was a bit better.

The room we got had a good view of the majestic Mount Fuji. The location of the hotel is near tourist spots like the Panoramic Ropeway, Fujiyama Cookie store and ferry boat tour. Breakfast is also good, and the rooms are spacious enough. Hotel rates are practical compared to nearby hotels.

The staff are very strict with their check-in time that we were only allowed at exactly 3pm. We arrived 12:30pm after a 5-hour trip from Nagoya. Another issue is that after check-out at 11am, they will only allow luggage stored with them until 2pm. Our departure was still at 5pm, and since Kawaguchiko station is not walking distance from the hotel, we decided to bring our luggages with us after check-out at 11am.

Very friendly staff: after a bug during the booking process, they rebooked me into a non-smoking room straight away. The view from the onsen was really nice.

I booked the lake view room, but the windows had a metalic mesh, slightly reducing the view. The hotel location is great, and a provided shuttle is nice. But in case you need to take the bus, it might be difficult as the bus is full of "hop on, hop off" tourists.

Basic room. View over the lake. One lift so meant delays. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again. plenty of parking. Suggest a rent-a-car for Fuji area ingeneral.

Breakfast was basic and room was packed as it is used by tour groups. Basic Breakfast range/choice of food. But it is a tour group hotel so it's not likely to change. for a budget tour the breakfast would be ok. if catching buses, can take time to travel.

Only managed to book smoking room, the cigarette smell linger in the room forever!!! Tour package hotel, so expect big crowd at check-in, breakfast and waiting for lift Public onsen has no view of outside

The location is good, easy to get there by the red line bus get off at No. 11, it’s right opposite the bus stop. Breakfast buffet was okay for us. Suggest you take a short walk towards the bridge early in the morning (before wind and clouds pick up), perhaps 6am (the lighting will be just right), you can get the perfect Fuji reflection. Also suggest you take the red line bus to the terminal where the Oishi park is, apparently it’s so beautiful where you can get nice photos no matter what the season is. Unfortunately we missed it, we took the green line bus instead to explore (cost us ¥1,910 each for the round trip), there are a lot to stop and see, but I would prefer the Oishi park according to the beautiful pictures on the magazine.

The bed and the pillow are both too hard.
