We stayed there for 4 nights, and all the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We got advices on place to visits (with discount coupons) and bicycle rental (which delivered and picked up for us at the hotel). Breakfast was simple but made us full for more than half of the day. The view of Mt. Fuji from the room was spectacular as seen in the hotel’s photos. We got the room on the 3rd floor. The room was spacious and clean. We could choose to have the room cleaned on the day that we wanted. New towels were given every day. Location-wise, it was located in a quiet corner of the lake which we preferred. There was no combini or shops nearby, but the nearest on was only about 2 bus stops away (on Red Line sightseeing bus route) , and it was a nice stroll just to walk along the lake. It took us less than 20 minutes to cycle to Oishi park. So it was not far from anything for us. The hotel offered shuttle to Kawaguchiko Station. Overall we loved it and even considered to come back when the weather is a bit cooler.

It’s not that we don’t like it but just to set realistic expectations for other travelers. The hotel is old. There is a few certain interior areas that one would feel how retro it is. However, overall it is well maintained and the room itself was well refurbished.

The staff were very helpful and kind. They're able to speak English, and instructions given by them were clear and easy to understand. There's a good view of Mt Fuji from the room when the weather was clear enough. There's 2 onsens located in the hotel. It's close enough to restaurants, a lawson, and some other cafe if you're willing to walk along the lake's walking trail. If you like, it's also within walking distance to the ropeway ticketing area.

We stayed one night in a Japanese-style room and really enjoyed the location—right across from the lake with a view of Mt. Fuji from the balcony, which was a highlight. The room and bathroom were clean, and the staff were extremely helpful, offering useful local travel tips and arranging convenient pick-up and drop-off from Kawaguchiko Station.

The only downside is that the hotel feels quite old. Some areas have a musty smell, and both the rooms and facilities could benefit from an upgrade. That said, it's still a charming place to stay if you value the view and warm hospitality.

The hotel was amazing-truly the best one of our entire trip. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and polite. The room was beautiful, clean, and offered a stunning view of Mt. Fuji. The atmosphere was serene, with an onsen to relax in, and it's conveniently located near many of the city's main attractions. You can really feel how much care and attention the hotel puts into everything-it made us feel genuinely grateful. If I ever visit this area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. Highly recommended!

This hotel is almost perfect. Super friendly and help staffs. Free shuttle bus service. Top level service. A hot spring you can see Mt. Fuji. Perfect view with Mt. Fuji and the lake. I don’t know what more I can ask for from this hotel. I felt so happy when I was in that room. The view from the room is exactly the same as you can see from the website. I have to wake up at 0700 to take photos of Mt. Fuji under the morning sun.

The shower in the room is the only thing makes this hotel “almost perfect”. Since the hotel has hot spring and hot spring has shower, this won’t matter much.

The hotel was wonderful from the very first moment. We arrived by car and found organized parking right in front of the hotel. The staff warmly welcomed us, took photos of us with the cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji, and then handled our luggage. Check-in was very clear and detailed, and our room had a stunning view of the lake and Fuji — absolutely beautiful! The location was excellent, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was both delicious and a memorable experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and even felt a bit sad that we didn’t have an extra day there. Highly recommended!

Everything was great!

I like everything, the ryokan style room, dinner, breakfast or the Netflix in room. The most impressive is the excellent services from all staff, the unlimited services, kind supports and willingness. The first time I stayed here was last 2 years with my friend. This time, I had my hubby with me as I want him to experience the great same thing and he enjoyed it as much as I did. Thank you for the hotel. Much appreciated!

There is only one point that I would like to see improved—the showerhead in the bathroom. Its quality and water flow make showering inconvenient and cannot compare to the excellent showerheads in the onsen on the 7th floor. If this could be fixed, it would be wonderful.

Mount Fuji was right in the smack of your room. So magnificient. The walking trail was right in front of the hotel. Lovely morning walk along Lake Kawaguchi. Very conveniently located with pickup service from the train station. The gentleman who picked us up from the train station on Fri, 30 Jan drove me to the Beef Cutlet shop to search for my loss bus tickets. Such was the staff hospitality. Thank you very very much. The onsen was very well- design with excellent bathing facilities. Food was excellent, especially dinner. The spread of breakfast and dinner was huge and exquisite.

The aircon needs a little servicing. It was coated with some dust.

Stayed in a traditional room with an amazing view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt Fuji. Had the traditional style dinner and breakfast while there, and it was an such an experience! So much food, really lovely entertaining staff (who didn't speak english, and we don't speak Japanese so made for a funny time!) The staff always went out of their way to be helpful, the shuttle bus to town/the bus stop was super helpful. The onsen was amazing too.

Didn't love the shower set up, but it was similar to many hotels there (shower room with bath)

The onsens were also a pleasant experience to try, and the staff were very attentive and can speak English well. We also appreciated the shuttle back to the station.

I can't think of anything to dislike other than maybe its distance to the Ropeway/stores area. Shuttle pickup during check-in was only available if coming from Kawaguchiko station, so we had to walk all the way to the hotel for our first day (we know there are bus stops but bus schedules are few so it was faster to walk). We can also only go back to the hotel after all our other sightseeing activities are finished because of the distance. However, that's just a nitpick since we knew about the distance even before picking this place.
