An experience I’ll never forget. Incredible view of Mt Fuji from the room, reception and onsen. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming and even took our luggage to the room for us and also offered a welcome tea which was delicious. Onsen was quiet so had it to myself both times I used it and they provided robes, the open air onsen was amazing to enjoy the view of Mt Fuji as well. We didn’t do the dinner but had the breakfast and was great value for money as it was so much food and sat by the window to enjoy the view. We also enjoyed coffee in the room overlooking Fuji. They also had bikes which I wish we used to ride around the lake if we had more time. Convenient shuttle to get you and take you to the main bus stop. Cute and cosy bar to have a drink in reception or by the fireplace. Upstairs bar was unfortunately closed when we went but a beautiful view again over the lake and Mt Fuji but would have been amazing to have a drink and watch the sunset there.

Nothing about the property but if you are wanting to eat somewhere else keep in mind they close early and is a bit of a walk to get to and a hill to get back to the property.

Amazing hospitality with pick up service at Kawaguchiko station. Room is so huge and comfortable. There’s a balcony with stunning views of any Fuji. Bathroom is huge also. No bathtubs but there’s a large public onsen with sauna! Onsen is really comfortable and the open air onsen is cool too! Breakfast was a choice between american and japanese and both were delicious!

The location is kind of far from Kawaguchiko station and it’s located on a hill. If you’re coming here do use the pick up service or it’ll be a hell of a climb.

This hotel is incredible! Honestly the best accommodation during our stay in Japan. We absolutely loved Mizno Hotel, it's such a wonderful cozy atmosphere from the moment you walk into the lobby. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made us feel so comfortable and at home while visiting Fuji! The view from the room is amazing, and the e-bikes available from reception are the best way to explore the surrounding lake areas! The hotel restaurant is great too, we enjoyed the French menu and shabu shabu dinner offered. Fujikawaguchiko was definitely a highlight of our trip..I will fondly remember Mizno Hotel and definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area!

The view this hotel offers is breathtaking, overseeing Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji. The ambience of this hotel I feel is extra special. Every area of the hotel is aesthetically pleasing from entrance, to reception, bedroom, dining room, and lounge. Each level of the hotel is decorated with various artworks THAT ARE NOT PRINT but original paintings (if you're artsy you'll love this place). The sky lounge and private hot bath at sunset is unforgettable. The hotel also provides a shuttle service, to and from Kawaguchiko Station. I also recommend their E-bikes... it gave me the opportunity to explore the lake and see Mt Fuji at different vantage points.

Wonderful greeting from staff! Used multiple amenities such as e-bikes, private bath, onsen, and breakfast service. Vegetarian accommodations were perfect for us. Upon check-out, we used the hotel provided shuttle to return to the bus station. Also the view of Mt. Fuji and the lake from our balcony was spectacular. The hotel even provided blankets, portable heaters, and outdoor lighting for us to enjoy the relaxed view. Lastly, we loved the decor in the main lobby and the art displayed throughout the building. Would highly recommend this property and location to any wandering traveler!

Walk up the hill to the main entrance was strenuous at times. Also directions were not clear at check-in on how to use the e-bikes (we did not know that we needed to check-out a bike key). Dining options outside the hotel all close early around 8-9pm, so we struggled finding vegetarian food one night and ended up buying groceries instead.

Amazing views from room and rooftop of Fuji. Incredible private onsen. Loved the Shabu Shabu- what a cool experience and staff on hand to help explain what to do! E bike hire easy and really fun. Rooms were gorgeous- balcony a lovely touch to drink a coffee whilst admiring the view of Fujisan in the morning. Quiet hotel with a boutique feel. Staff fantastic, so helpful and polite. We loved our stay here. Easy to get the shuttle from the station- ask tourist information and they call the hotel to request it, going back to the station at the end of the stay was easy too.

The location is a on a steep hill, do consider the shuttle timing when checking in. There's a red line bus stop just by the road outside, it's convenient to sightsee for red line. Balcony view faces Mount Fuji, sunrise sunset moments are easy to capture from vantage viewpoint. Lastly, remember to visit the sky bar to capture the starry night. It's amazing. Breakfast was good, we tried both the Japanese and Western options. The add on for dinner was good too. Ambience wise, there's a few insta worthy corners at the lounge, go have fun!

Wow. What a wonderful hotel. It was very unexpected to find such a charming and quirky place. The doctor is wonderful. There are poli paintings and pictures all over the building which adds a lot of character. Downstairs there is a superb library full of interestijg booking in English and Japanese alongside racks of travel magazines (again in English and Japanese). We really enjoyed having a drink in the evening ready through some of them. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The onsen was stunning with a view of the mountain which was clearly a big highlight. There is a private onsen that can be booked on the roof for an extra fee. We didn't do that, but it did looks lovely. There is also a rooftop bar and observation deck which is a wonderful way to get a good picture of the mountain. Sadly the weather wasn't kind during our trip, but it was great to watch the clouds rolling over and waiting to see if we could get a glimpse of the top. We enjoyed the wonderful dinner in the hotel which was the hot pot. The waguu beef was the best I had whilst in Japan. The best part for me though was the bikes. You can take one of the electric bikes for free and cycle around the lake. This was a great way to see the local area. I am a keen cyclist, so enjoyed cycling around without using the electric as it's mostly flat. What a great experience. Thank you.

This property was absolutely stunning. I had a fantastic view of Fuji-san from my bed. The rooftop view is even more spectacular. Unfortunately I was there during rain so the bar was closed, but some people had dried off seats in the seating areas and were still enjoying the roof. There’s also a lovely bar on the first level with some interesting drinks. And the second level there is a restaurant that I did not eat at but seemed very nice. I did take full advantage of the onsen, which was very clean and up-to-date. I also was able to get an in room massage which was fantastic. The masseuse was just delightful and did a great job communicating even though I didn’t speak Japanese. The front desk was so helpful in setting up a taxi and the massage for me. It was a welcome respite after lots of days of heat and hiking temples. Definitely felt like a luxury stay.

There is nothing in the immediate area other than the other hotels, lake access and walking path with views. You will need to catch the sightseeing bus to get anywhere nearby. That bus does not run at all hours so be careful watching times if you leave the property.

The view was amazing. We were lucky enough to see Mt. Fuji for a short period of time but even with the clouds, the lake and the view of the town was beautiful. The breakfast was the best breakfast we had on our whole trip to Japan, including croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt and eggs benedict. We also paid for dinner at the hotel and was hands down one of the best dinners we had on the trip as well. The staff went above and beyond and the service was impeccable. No faults.

The beds weren't the most comfortable - they were fairly firm. Also the temperature control in the room was a little bit difficult to handle. The air con was very cold but if the temperature increased, the room became very humid and the windows filled with condensation, so it was a little hard to manage. However, we also had a friend in a separate room where this wasn't an issue so it may have been room-specific.
