An experience I’ll never forget. Incredible view of Mt Fuji from the room, reception and onsen. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming and even took our luggage to the room for us and also offered a welcome tea which was delicious. Onsen was quiet so had it to myself both times I used it and they provided robes, the open air onsen was amazing to enjoy the view of Mt Fuji as well. We didn’t do the dinner but had the breakfast and was great value for money as it was so much food and sat by the window to enjoy the view. We also enjoyed coffee in the room overlooking Fuji. They also had bikes which I wish we used to ride around the lake if we had more time. Convenient shuttle to get you and take you to the main bus stop. Cute and cosy bar to have a drink in reception or by the fireplace. Upstairs bar was unfortunately closed when we went but a beautiful view again over the lake and Mt Fuji but would have been amazing to have a drink and watch the sunset there.

Nothing about the property but if you are wanting to eat somewhere else keep in mind they close early and is a bit of a walk to get to and a hill to get back to the property.

Amazing hospitality with pick up service at Kawaguchiko station. Room is so huge and comfortable. There’s a balcony with stunning views of any Fuji. Bathroom is huge also. No bathtubs but there’s a large public onsen with sauna! Onsen is really comfortable and the open air onsen is cool too! Breakfast was a choice between american and japanese and both were delicious!

The location is kind of far from Kawaguchiko station and it’s located on a hill. If you’re coming here do use the pick up service or it’ll be a hell of a climb.

This hotel is incredible! Honestly the best accommodation during our stay in Japan. We absolutely loved Mizno Hotel, it's such a wonderful cozy atmosphere from the moment you walk into the lobby. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made us feel so comfortable and at home while visiting Fuji! The view from the room is amazing, and the e-bikes available from reception are the best way to explore the surrounding lake areas! The hotel restaurant is great too, we enjoyed the French menu and shabu shabu dinner offered. Fujikawaguchiko was definitely a highlight of our trip..I will fondly remember Mizno Hotel and definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Nothing!

We had a room on the top floor with a view across the lake and towards mount Fuji. The mountain was shrouded in mist for the first 2 days but on the day we left, in the morning, it was clear and the lake was still giving us a great view of Fuji and its reflection in the lake. The hotel offers a shuttle service from the station/bus station. You ask the tourist information at the station to call them and they arrive to get you in about 5 miniutes. They will also drop you back there when you leave or if you want to look around Kawaguchiko. Around the lake is walkable though if you prefer to stretch your legs. The hotel is uphill a bit when you get back but it's not to far or too steep. The bar in the hotel is quite cool and quirky.

Not a problem with the hotel but the town of Kawaguchico seems pretty run down and a place that has seen better days. There isn't much to do in the area unless you're intending to trek up Mount Fuji from there. So, once you've seen Fuji, that's pretty much it.

We spent three nights here in this very clean and spacious hotel / room and the nicest thing about the hotel was of course the great room view of Mt Fuji! Waking up to that view in the morning is something I will never forget. The hotel is located on a steep hill (5 min walk, not too bad but for elderly people, it could be challenging, however there is anyways a hotel shuttle!). Something else which stood out was the staff at front desk and shuttle service - they were welcoming us very nicely and were always more than happy to help out. We also loved the view from the rooftop terrace as well as the nice staff there. Thank you very much!

We booked the Shabu Shabu Dinner for one night and it was quite pricy! Price was around 50 EUR p.P. which I found personally way too much for the amount of food provided. Of course the service was great. We had breakfast once and it was quite special but I wouldn't book it anymore, it was too pricey as well.

OMG. This was sooo great! This hotel is a gem. Lobby is super chick, stylish with nice moody bar and a lot of sitting spots to just enjoy the atmosphere. The Fuji view is a killer. You literally waking up and right away enjoying the magic from your window. Japanese style room is super spacious. Public bath is great, has sauna, multiple pools and the view. You are enjoying bath with the stunning unbelievable view. And if it's not enough - they give you electric bikes for free. You can take them right from the hotel parking and enjoy them for the entire day. And they have like 10-15 of them at least. We saved tones of time and money just taking those bikes instead of going to the city to rend them. And we used them to bike around lake for an entire day.

The only minor inconvenience this hotel has is the rout from the main street - the climb is stiff so would not recommend having a backpack or duffle with you.

Amazing stay at the mizno, we booked the "japanese" style room so we could experience the tatami way of sleeping. The room was a good size (for 3 people), but the terrace and sitting area was the real perk of the room. We were incredibly lucky to wake up to Fuji views each morning. The highlight of the hotel was also the meals, we had breakfast which was delicious and excellently served and presented. Then on one evening, we had the shabu shabu dinner, again excellent. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. We did not try the public onsen, but we did book the private onsen two nights on the trot. It was a perfect way to unwind at night with a view of the stars across the lake. We also took advantage on the hotels electric bikes, it was a really enjoyable way to explore the lakes if you feel confident enough to ride along the roads.

extra pillows would have been good in the room. but other than that everything was great.

The view this hotel offers is breathtaking, overseeing Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji. The ambience of this hotel I feel is extra special. Every area of the hotel is aesthetically pleasing from entrance, to reception, bedroom, dining room, and lounge. Each level of the hotel is decorated with various artworks THAT ARE NOT PRINT but original paintings (if you're artsy you'll love this place). The sky lounge and private hot bath at sunset is unforgettable. The hotel also provides a shuttle service, to and from Kawaguchiko Station. I also recommend their E-bikes... it gave me the opportunity to explore the lake and see Mt Fuji at different vantage points.

None. This hotel made our stay unforgettable.

The fact that you can see Mt. Fuji from the room and the hotel rooftop is incredible. Onsen facilities are top notch and I loved the private rooftop onsen as well as the public onsen which was more spacious. Would return for these facilities! We stayed 2 nights & got lucky with a Fuji view on checkout morning. The lobby/Authors Bar has incredible decor & I loved the atmosphere. Free e-bike rentals were very helpful for getting around as are the free shuttles at certain times of day to Kawaguchiko station. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff made a small mistake which was a bit awkward for a moment but then solved it so everything turned out well and we really appreciated that.

Will definitely come back. Please read on why this place deserves your heart! A night before my birthday i had fallen sick due to long travel, which had me all the symptoms. It had happened at the other province before ((i reached here ))but unfortunately i was not treated well/helped properly by local staffs. I understand it is a part of my fault for not carry meds from home. However- here, when i told Ryu the staff i started to feel sick, he promptly laid out options what we could do and quickly hopped on the hotel van and drove me to the pharmacy & suggested me Japanese meds that could work. It knocked me out overnight (lol) but so fortunate of me i woke up feeling much better, fresh, and ready to spend my birthday. So, it is rare hotel staffs go above and beyond like Ryu at Mizno did. Staffs: Super helpful. Super polite, friendly. They are male dominant but i didn't feel off or anything at all! Super professional 💖they were so welcoming since you stepped into the hotel for a check in! Location: Just great! Not too far from Kawaguchiko station, just in case you have to head back early or late. Hotel van is ready to pick you up there every 5-10 mins. And! What i love is the hotel located at the top of other hotels, so you can kind of see Fuji in a better view from your window. It also has a parking lot. Room: Perfect. I stayed at a double room on 4th floor. It was spacious enough with the right amount of privacy & spectacular view 🙂they've gotten you all the toiletries & yukata which you can wear to anywhere inside the hotel. Public onsen: separate m/f, spacious, clean, it had a long row of onsen and another small room ( could fit 2-3) you could see the view in there. A sauna of 1-2 person. And all the toileries products are provided for you to wash off. Lobby: Warm, cozy, and funky vibe. It is a bit of eclectric and art deco style. Lots and lots of books 💕and gorgeous paintings & vintage collections.

no butt warmer toilet seat :p but i traded that with all i listed above so, worth it lol
