We loved the dinosaurs at the reception, especially our 2 year old who had to say hello and goodbye everytime we passed. The room was an ok size but didn't have much space to move. Maybe a different layout would work better. Either way, beds were big enough to comfortably share with a toddler and the we had a really good night sleep. Decent coffee at breakfast too!

Breakfast didn't have a lot of choice. It was good as a quick start to the day, but we needed something else pretty quickly after. The restaurant is also very small so go either very early or close to ending time to be able to catch a seat.

Incredible hotel. The location is perfect for visiting LaLaPort or Canal City. What this hotel lacks in some amenities (face wash, lotion, curling iron) it more than makes up for in location and more practical amenities. The easy and free luggage storage (allowed before and after check in/check out) is a god send in itself, saving you a LOT of trouble and yen while sightseeing. The breakfast was great and the ability to hangout in the cafe before and after check out was amazing, as I needed to do some computer work after check out before leaving. The breakfast was delicious! The double room was SO clean and the perfect size for two large people. The staff were immensely helpful and kind (Dinos included)! Should you need lotion, etc Donquihote is a 4 minute walk away, as well as many good restaurants and sights. Also, you can rent a VR farming headset for a night here for ¥1000 which is fun—I’ll try it next time. Because I’ll definitely be back. :)

Henna hotel is not a “love hotel” but still I missed some amenities like face wash and curling iron and shower cap. Not a deal breaker by any means, but bring your own. They do have hair brushes, tooth brushes, razors and pajamas and body wash and shampoo and conditioner. The bed was firm, but I slept well.

I like the unique check-in system with the dinosaurs and the convenient check-out kiosk. The free breakfast, tea time, and alcohol reception was appreciated. The souvenir coin option is also unique and fun. I also like that the hotel is close to many interesting attractions and entertainment.

I didn't like the complications with using my passport to check in. But thankfully the staff was helpful. I also do not like how firm the beds are. The breakfast was good, but it could benefit from a little more variety.

It’s the best hotel I’ve ever had among 10 my trips to Japan! BEST location! Only take 3 mins to walk from the station(exit2). Nearby the river where you can take a walk at night and can also enjoy the food stand. Self check-in front desk with adorable dinosaur! The room is perfect, especially the bathtub! The lobby with free food is awesome and sweet! There are free lockers so that you can store your luggages before you check in and after you check out. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel!

None! Everything is perfect

I literally booked this for the dinosaur room and dinosaur robots. The location was not at all convenient for what I was doing in Fukuoaka, but the dinosaurs were totally worth it! Exceeded expectations. My elementary schooler and toddler were overjoyed. From check in - which is actually done by talking robot dinosaurs to finding our room that was covered with dinosaur warning signs on the door to the dinosaurs in the room and the gifts from the hotel for this kids…truly a marvelous hotel experience. If I find myself in Fukuoka again I will absolutely return. There was even a cookie session that we missed and a complimentary bar time (which I enjoyed). Thank you Henn na!!

Breakfast was very basic and crowded at rush hour, but my kids loved the fruit and cereal. And I was just appreciative to have it included. Probably plan to go down earlier than 8am.

Well situated hotel. The self checking can be daunting but you can easily call the staff via the check-in screen. The originality of the dinosors as the reception desk staff made my kids day. Although simple, the breakfast, snack and night time bars were nice. And the LG styler in the room was really great.

One of the room we booked smelt funny (a mix of himidity and carpet smell). But over time with the AC on, it was almost gone.

Interesting hotel. We booked it for the novelty of checking in with dinosaurs, Location was great, opposite a Toyota car rental outlet and walking distance to a subway station as well as the city. Only 4 stops on the subway to the airport. Room was a bit small but seems standard for Japanese hotels. Had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the simple breakfast and afternoon tea provided. Also made use of their free evening bar drinks. Will come back again if we are in Fukuoka.

The hotel is centrally located, within 10 mins walking distance from Ten-jin as well as Nakasu. It is right opposite the Toyota car rental branch. There are also roadside stalls outside the hotel in the evening. There was free breakfast as well as snacks throughout the day - you can even get some free shots of alcohol in the evening! Rooms were well-maintained. Staff was responsive. The toilet bowl and shower were separate, so it is more convenient. There are also luggage locks conveniently located at the lobby for use before check-in and after check-out. I've used the same chain in Tokyo and was satisfied with their accommodation.

Rooms were a bit too small, even for the larger one that I paid for, so a bit difficult to move and pack luggage.

This hotel was in a great location; walking distance to the train station, Kawabata Shopping street, Don Quixote, Riverain Mall, yatai stalls, Hakata Old Town, many restaurants and convenience stores. We loved the free breakfast (6-10am); drinks and cookies throughout the day and mix-your-own cocktails (6-10pm) at the lobby lounge. The room was clean and a good size (by Japanese standards) that fit our family of 4. Room cleaning is done every 3 days but we were given fresh towels every day. The staff were very courteous and helpful. They even went the extra mile of booking us taxis going to the airport. The dinosaurs that welcome guests at the reception desk were a fun touch.

We liked the convenience of self-service check-in and the free luggage port in the lobby. The location was great- easy access to the airport line, lots of eating options including the OG Ichiran, and the Asian art museum. We paid a little more for a deluxe room and it had comfy beds, enough room for our luggage, roomy shower, and ample natural light. The dinosaur reception staff and free happy hour (with a giant jug of self-serve whiskey) were fun bonuses.

The included breakfast was primarily bread and cereal. You’re better off grabbing food from the Family Mart next door or 7-11 across the street!
