This is a nice small business style hotel but with outstanding riverside views which also let in a lot more light than normal business hotels. The facilities were sufficiently clean and the location was central enough to make walking or using public transport easy.

While the room was up to standard, I don't think this would be a suitable location for large groups of families, and is more aimed toward solo travelers or business people. The services available were also very limited and their is little to no English support if you need that.

- Dated furnishings. But well maintained - The self service payment kiosk. I don't understand why the counter staff could not process payment at the counter since they already helped to check in. After a long tiring flight, guests would preferably like a full service check in offered by the staff

It locates at the prime position of the town as you wish to visit historic buildings around the harbour. I take 2-minute walk to the piers go to Karato Fish Market and Ganryu-jima, extremely convenient. The restaurants downstairs and nearby provide excellent Japanese foods. only few minutes walk outside the hotel.

The hotel buildings, including the lift system, need to be upgraded. The outsiders can enter the hotel rooms easily without any room card.

The location is great. Nearby access to Tenjin and Nagusa Kawabata trains. Excellent cafe downstairs. Reception is very organised and a good front to the hotel.

The Wifi is vey poor and weak. Room that we stayed in had seem some wear and needs a paint job.

The hotel and room was nice, though the bathroom was very small. The breakfast buffet was served at the top floor with a lovely view of the river. The food was good. The staff at the reception were friendly and took our suitcases for safekeeping, so that we could go sightseeing.

The soundproofing of the room was not good, so we could clearly hear people talking (quietly) in the hallway, and the loud ding of the elevator.

The location is great. Short walk to Tenjin Station and Kawabata mall. It’s next to the canal.

There were some minor issues with the room, e.g plug in sink was not effective, but nothing to detract from the overall stay.

A classy hotel, from the riverside location to the quiet and soothing tones of the interior decor. The room was spacious and comfortable. The amenities are simple but there is everything you need. (Though only green tea teabags so bring your own if you want regular tea.) The bathroom is nice, with gleaming tiles and a good-sized bath. Wonderful night view of the neon-lit city and the reflections in the river. The staff are professional and helpful.

The wifi is terrible. I would have given this hotel 10/10 if they had had decent wifi. It’s a shame, because it's so important for travelers. (I’m a local so I had my own wifi but I would have preferred to use theirs for free.)

Bog room for Japanese standards and great location near the sibway and the lively neighbourhoods.
