We booked for two rooms. We arrived around 8 or 9 pm and would like to change the room type as they were not on the same floor. However, the hotel was unable to arrange this for us even though the room was available. The staffs were not good at communicating in English. Also, there's no one to help us with the luggage, which was quite disappointing. The door of the elevators was not big enough for the trolley with luggage to go through. The air temperature was set to 18c. However, it was humid and felt like 25c.

Lovely. The decor of the hotel and the room was understated and beautiful and it was very quiet and comfortable. The room was very large and very clean. The attached onsen bath was great! We bathed twice daily and the water was perfectly minerally and hot. While the buffet meals were the same for the three nights, they surprised us with a special “ippin” on day two and three. And the selections were all delicious and tasty. The maguro kama ramen was rich and savory, and the breakfast kaisen-don was luxurious. Service was top-notch and the staff were lovely. We did not want to leave.

The hotel was beautiful. The room was SPACIOUS. The dinner and breakfast were the best hotel/ryokan meals I had in Japan during my month trip. Everything about it was top notch and I'm super glad I stayed there. Def book a private onsen they have massage chairs in the room as well. A great deal.

The breakfast is ok, the restaurant is cozy and with nice view.

I have a higher expectation of the quality of the food, foods are ok with nothing surprise. It will be alot enjoyable if the restaurant can serve the food slower. The dishes are serve almost is a very short period / few dishes in same time. New dishes are served even we still having the appetizer which cause the food getting cold on table .

The in-house hot spring is very nice, and the room is super spacious. It's definitely highly recommended for the stay.

Self check-in system is not that intelligent. And it seems a bit of energy wasting for hot spring to be on 24/7.

I wish I had stayed longer.

The room was very big and we liked the organisation and furniture. The private onsen was spacious and it was great to be able to control the temperature of it.

The noise! Everything is making way too much noise in this room (fan, AC, heating, humidifier…) some things you’re unsure if you can really turn off so your night is not very relaxing. Also the staff seemed not at ease with foreigners, but it may have been just an impression.

Our one-week stay in this hotel was enjoyable and all the young staff working in this restaurant on the second floor was friendly and helpful especially Miss結衣 who was very professional, welcoming and helpful. I took my hat off to her.

Unfortunately, this wonderful experience got destroyed all of sudden, while we were enjoying our last coffee in this space on the ground floor overlooking this stunning garden after we checked out, there was this senior female staff came and almost like scolding us saying “hurry up”, not “hurry up please” because she was closing up the space, It was very rude. We felt like we were treated unfriendly. You don’t hurry up your guests even after they check out. In a high-end hotel like your hotel, it was a bit off for us and leaving not so pleasant experience in the end.

The hot spring water was very nice. Breakfast mainly consisted of fish dishes,but they were very delicious. The hotel staff were very kind and very good.

The hotel room was old outdated in every aspect. The bathroom tiles were peeling ,the seat of the couch was torn,and the bed was so hard it caused back pain. We’ve stayed at many hotels,but we’ve never seen a room as shabby as this one. However,as soon as I stepped out of the room,everything had been renovated,creating a stark contrast. This made it even more disappointing to return to the room. To make matters worse, there was a smoking area on the same floor. Although it was enclosed with plastic, it had no door,so the smell of cigarette smoke was noticeable.
