Honestly, this was probably the best experience I had during my whole trip. I could go on forever about how amazing both the city and this hotel were. First of all, the location is perfect — if you’re coming by train, the hotel is literally right across from the station. You step out of the metro and the next door you see is the hotel entrance. So convenient! Also… the view from our room? Straight onto the train tracks. Sounds random, but it was actually WOW. The room itself was cozy, pretty spacious, and just had a really nice vibe. We had breakfast included, and it was actually delicious. Right across the street there’s a fish market, and in the morning they serve the exact fish caught by local fishermen — how cool is that?? They also had a little corner on the first floor where you could pick up extra stuff like different pillows and other useful things, which I thought was a super nice touch. The staff were polite, friendly, and everything went really smoothly. And best of all — the sea is just a few steps away! Like??? Amazing. I’d honestly stay here a hundred more times if I could.

The hotel is almost in the station so it's very convenient. You can see the rails from the room window. Great decoration themed around rail and trains Room was clean and confortable Great sento bath on the last floor : rest area with view over hakkodate and great bath with indoor and outdor sections. If i remember right there was the train departures screen in the sento which is a smart idea. Breakfast is a must try with lots of choice and great taste including sushis

The only thing that would have been great is to have the breakfast opening a little earlier. We neeeed to take the first shinkansen of the day so we had to rush the breakfast. As it's a jr hotel it would have been a nice touch to make the breakfast earlier to match train sheedule.

The room was great: spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The lounge on the 12th floor (with hot drinks) is a big bonus. Good WiFi. The location, just right next to the train station, is perfect.

The pillows in the bedroom were too thin / hard. So we went to the pillow corner to get different ones, but it was empty. We tried the following days, but still empty! The idea of a pillow corner is not a good one, keeping them at the front desk would avoid some customers helping themselves carelessly. The hotel is big and the 2 elevators get (very) congested at peak hours, so we had to use the stairs. Fortunately, our room was on the 4th floor!

We had just travelled on the train for nearly 5 hours and came straight to the hotel from the train station. We had food with us and we were hungry. We were told we couldn’t eat in the hotel. I had to go and eat outside. I’m sure that looked worse than eating in the reception area. Maybe the hotel needs to consider having an area for guest arrivals, somewhere to have a drink and food as often guests are exhausted/travelled a long way, hungry and thirsty. Other hotels had this service and it makes all the difference.

Friendly and accommodating staff, bilingual, helped with storing luggage, explained hotel clearly and warmly. Excellent facilities—rooftop public bath with views over the train yard, as well as an unexpected lounge with free coffee and a view of the Hakodate skyline and Mt. Hakodate. Great place to chill, read a book, and take in the view. Plenty of parking—1200 Yen for our two days—and immediate access to the JR Station, convenience stores, and Morning Market area with restaurants. A perfect place to stay for exploring and unwinding in Hakodate, and a big bonus if you're a fan of Japanese trains with views of the train yard and railway theming throughout the hotel. The rooms, which are compact but well-designed, maintain this theming. Overall, a stellar hotel and one of our favourites on our recent trip—bonus points for the hotel smelling absolutely delightful throughout.

The Hotel is located just at the station. You literally exit the hotel, take two steps and you’re at the station. There is a number of shops and a 7 Eleven at the station. The staff were super friendly and the hotel is clean and has everything you need. The Hakodate morning market, a branch of the famous Hakodate exclusive Lucky Pierrot and the Street Car are within walking distance along with a number of souvenir shops and seafood restaurants. The bus station is also nearby. There is a good selection of vending machines on the second floor of the hotel so you don’t have worry about getting thirsty.

Morning market was 1 min walking distance from the hotel. The parking lot in front of the hotel is full most of the time. Lucky beside the hotel, a 1 min walking, multi-story car park is available. Many eatery within walking distance.

Not sure why, we ask for room cleaning and replace bedsheets, towels etc by placing both red and green card on the door but only get new bedsheets, towels but no room cleaning. Coffee, green tea etc are only provided on 2nd morning. Checkin day, no coffee, green tea etc. Not used to having no room cleaning and replace bedsheets etc. We are aware on the instructions sheet it stated that they will only clean the room and replacement of bedsheets etc are self service. This experience that we have could be due to not clear instructions of the room services that is to be provided. Suggest the hotel review their instructions to manage the potential miscommunication.

The best location, right at the Hakodate Station with the bus stop right outside (bus used more in Hakodate). The morning markets are across the street. The facilities look brand new, very modern and comfortable. The bedroom was a slightly bigger room for the price point. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with a combination of toast/pastry/yoghurt for westerners and a sushi train and other japanese dishes. As a family with young kids we also love the convenience of breakfast. For those interested the red brick warehouse and ropeway was about a 20-30 minute walk away. 30 minutes on the bus but we just walked and took a taxi back. There is Children's World which is an old fashion amusement park about 30 mins walk and Kids Plaza about 5 mins walk away. Lots of great food around.

The hotel is right next to the station and just across from the morning market. The room was very clean, and the staff were extremely helpful. The rooftop lounge has a beautiful view of the bay, and the onsen was excellent. During our stay, there was a tsunami warning, and the staff quickly guided us to the rooftop lounge, provided water, and kept us well informed throughout. Everything was handled very professionally and efficiently.

The room was a bit damp, which was the only downside.

A good stay overall. Clean room. The room is nicely arranged (with twin beds on two sides and table/sofa in the middle) to make the space feel roomier than the stated square footage of 215sf. The view from our 9th floor room is excellent (but of course still can't beat the one from the 12th floor lounge). The hotel location is practically inside the JR station and is super convenient, although it is a busy hotel catering to tourists. Getting to select your own pillow is a nice touch. They let us check in at 2:56pm, four minutes ahead of the stated check-in time -- it's something we have never experienced in Japan :-)

The two elevators couldn't quite handle the traffic and got really crowded at times. There is no safe in the room.
