Very friendly staff and helpful. Ski bus to other resorts (excl Happo One) is few steps away. Happo One ski resort is about 10-15 min walk. There is supposed to be a ski bus close by to Happo One, but we it was often delayed and a bit unreliable, unlike other buses to other resorts Hakuba 47, etc. Great bar downstairs with good selection of craft beers. All great restaurants in Happo One are minutes away by foot. Great japanese owned coffee house opposite the hotel. Our room had the most amazing view on the mountain , where we could also observe fireworks during NY.

Great hotel for a family. The facilities were good, as was the service. We are a family of 5, including 3 teen boys, and as we booked late in the year we were all in one room. This was mostly fine; there was enough room for luggage and the boys had roll out futon style mattresses on the ground, which they didn't particularly like! the toilet and shower in one room was probably the biggest issue with this many people, but really it just required a bit more orgnisation to get going on the early morning days! The staff were friendly and very helpful. The Panorama is well located, we could walk for dinner and walk in our snow gear to the lift if required. The shuttle bus to a few of the other ski areas stops right out the front. Brekky was simple, but good.

Separate toilet and shower if we're being fussy!

If I remember correctly (as it was a few months ago that I booked), this hotel advertises itself as 'the one that ticks all the boxes', or something like that. Well it definitely didn't disappoint! The staff here are amazing. They were all so friendly, accommodating and helpful. The hotel is in a great location close to the slopes, with bus services on the doorstep. The hotel bar (the Taproom) is certainly up there with the best in Hakuba. Great beer, wine available, and hearty meals. If you want to eat traditional Japanese food, we went to two amazing restaurants within close walking distance to the hotel. Spacious, easily accessible boot room. On site Onsen (Japanese baths), and big warm rooms with comfy beds. We will be coming back, thanks Panorama team!

We loved the hotel and would definitely stay again. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. Nothing was too much and all email communication was answered quickly. The room itself was spacious and comfortable and the facilities were excellent. The onsen was fabulous, clothes-washing facilities a bonus and the Taproom was a great addition. We would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

We were really happy with everything - a little variety at breakfast would have been nice but not essential.

I have come home from Hakuba so incredibly happy. I cannot fault anything about my stay. The staff at the Panorama Hotel, and everywhere in the village for that matter, are so beautiful and willing to go above and beyond to assist, something that is not that common in Australia. From the minute we booked the staff were in touch to offer assistance in arranging our transport, lift passes and lessons. This made our arrival 10x easier. They were also happy to accept and store our snowboard in advance as we were travelling around Japan prior to Hakuba and didn’t want to lug it around with us. I had a minor hiccup with my plans and the beautiful ladies at Panorama were able to fix it for me in a matter of minutes. The accommodation itself is quite standard for a ski village and suited our needs just fine as we were out all day skiing. Waking up on the first morning to it snowing and a view of the mountains from our room was something else! Having breakfast provided made things a lot easier before a full day of skiing and the restaurant and bar on-site was a great way to unwind after a big day. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and cannot wait to stay again soon.

That I had to leave.

Breakfast was a simple buffet - but it was plentiful and fueled us for the day ahead on the slopes. Loved the convience for being a shuttle stop for the slopes. Lawsons is only a 5 min walk - they allow you to use their microwave to heat up your food from Lawsons. Their onsen facilites are great. Other restaurants are also a short 5 min walk away - we walked even whilst snowing - it didn't defer us. Guest relations were as always awesome!

Nothing - everything was functional. Don't expect luxuries but everything else was great.

The taproom of local craft beers was amazing with a lovely ambience, great selection, delicioius food and a quite knowledgeable bartender. The breakfast was fantastic providing a delicious if basic eggs & bacon meal with really good coffee in decent sized mugs - Wow! The view from our room was incredible. The beds were quite comfortable and there was quite a bit of room.

The onsen bath was a little basic but still pleasant. The bunkbed was a little short if you are on the taller side - not unusual in Japan, but you can't hang your feet over the end like on the low beds. My only regret was coming in a season without snow!

Rooms were very comfortable with a lovely view of the mountain. The Onsen was great. The drying room worked well. A short walk into the town 5-10 mins. Shuttle pick up from train station on arrival was great. Staff very helpful. Shuttle bus to one of the nearby ski fields picks up and drops off at the hotel. The Taproom is a great place for a beer at the end of the day.

For a skil trip the Panorama is well very set up, although it is about a 10min walk to the nearest lift, and for some of the nearby ski fields it is a 10 min walk to the bus station for the shuttle bus. Brreakfast was adequate but certainly nothing to get excited about.

Location is great and walking distance venues and happo ski field. Buffet breakfast is included and was really good with a range of options to suit everyone. The staff were fantastic, really accommodating and helpful. Taproom attached is nice with a huge range of different local beers on tap and pub style menu.

The shower temp would go hot/cold which was a little frustrating after a day of skiing.

The hotel onsen was the highlight of our stay - It was very clean and the perfect way to relax after a long day of skiing. We also really enjoyed the included breakfast every morning. The hotel is also very close to many shuttle bus stops to easily get to the slopes. Finally, the fact that the staff were so friendly and offered to drop us off at the train station was exceptional!

Our room's bathroom was very cramped and didn't have a bidet. The room was clean, but the top bunk bed was very dusty and triggered my allergies. Some staff were less attentive than others and gave us unclear directions for the shuttle stop.
