very good location with a snow shuttle stop very close. cafes, shops and town all within walking distance. Extra room supplies available in the laundry room. Rooms a little small but still quite serviceable. Heating and kitchen supplies were good. Room and bathroom very clean and nice. Host would take any guests to the supermarket once per day if needed. Very pretty location with the snow on the trees outside. Loved it and I would stay here again.

Some of the rooms are on the second floor and the stairs were steep. Just had to be cautious.

I loved my one week stay at LeBocage. The 1 bedroom apartment was sufficient and enough space for my family of 4 people (2x young kids). I love that simple amenities like shampoo, conditioner, dishwashing liquid, garbage bags, olive oil, salt and pepper etc are all provided. Echoland was also a very convenient location. Close to a few restaurant options and easy walk to bus stops to catch Ski Resort shuttle busses.

The sofa bed was a little squeaky with the mattress being little too soft. My kids are light and of a younger age, so they did not mind this.

Very nice chalet. We had 8 people. Clean, tidy. TV not great in terms of connection to streaming services, but we didn't use it much anyway. Washer/dryer didn't work which was a pain but hopefully that was an isolated issue. Good location

What we liked the most about the property was its location and the space. Everything, such as restaurants, free shuttle bus stops, a convenience store, etc... were all nearby, so we didn't have a hard time getting around. Considering this was in Japan, I wasn't really expecting such a spacious lodging, but lo and behold...our one-bedroom apartment at Le Bocage was huge for a family of four. It was such a nice space to return to, especially after a tiring day at the slopes. Moreover, the property was equipped with all the necessities and more. We like the fact that we were staying just beside the drying room because it made everything much more convenient. The drying room had the supplies, washing machine, dryer, and we could store our luggages there upon check-out while we maximize our time in Hakuba before we actually had to leave the town. Everything was just perfect! ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at Le Bocage in Ecoland Hakuba was truly a dream come true! From the moment we were greeted by their friendly driver at the train station, we felt like we had stepped into a winter fairy tale. As we walked to our apartment, the snow-covered streets and picturesque surroundings made everything feel magical. Le Bocage is perfectly tucked away just off the Main Street, offering a peaceful, charming escape with loads of character. We booked a one-bedroom apartment for my husband, our two daughters (aged 12 and 8), and me. The ground-level apartment was ideal—while we relaxed in the warmth of our cozy space, the girls had a blast building snow forts and igloos right outside our door. The apartment was spacious and thoughtfully designed. The main bedroom was generously sized with a large wardrobe, drawers, and two very comfortable single beds (which we pushed together for a cozy night’s sleep). The girls were perfectly content on the pull-out sofa that converted into a queen bed. Having a fully equipped kitchen was a game-changer—Ecoland isn’t known for takeaway options, and after a long day on the slopes, the last thing you want to do is go out again. The kitchen came with a fridge, microwave, mini grill, stovetop, and all the necessary utensils, making it easy to prepare meals. Plus, there’s a supermarket nearby, and a fantastic convenience store with ready-made meals just a 5-minute walk away! The location couldn’t be better. We were only steps from the Main Street, where a free shuttle whisked us away to the slopes. After a long day on the mountain, it was wonderful to return to the apartment and make use of the excellent ski drying room with racks for boots and gear. The apartment also had a washer and dryer—perfect for drying out after wet days in the snow. And let’s not forget the vending machine stocked with delicious hot chocolate, the perfect way to warm up before heading out for a day on the slopes!

Cannot fault this place at all

The staff was amazing!!! They were super communicative and always helpful. Our train was delayed, but they were able to rearrange our pickup time. They had a shuttle that did grocery runs at 4pm which was very helpful. On our last day, we couldn’t get a taxi out, but Le Bocage came to our rescue and sent Dom their shuttle driver, to help us out. Without them, we would have been waiting all day in the snow. It was so easy to communicate via the booking app. The location is perfect, right next to the Main Street and bus shuttles. The apartment was super clean, warm, and inviting. It felt like traditional Japan with modern amenities. Loved the washer/dryer in unit. Super helpful. We even saw fireworks from our living room one night!!!

We loved everything about this property. We were really pleasantly surprised with how spacious it was as we were a group of 6 adults. The management were incredibly helpful with transportation from the bus station and also to and from the supermarket. Everything you need is within walking distance, including multiple restaurants, hire places and shuttle stops. We would 100% stay at Le Bocage again, highly recommend!!

It didn’t have any pantry staples but there was a convenience store up the road.

The property was huge and we had plenty of space in the bedrooms as well as in the living room. The toilets were working and clean, bathroom was spacious, clean and came with a bathtub. Location was great and near restaurants and gear rental. The sofa was super comfy and the place could easily accommodate more people. The group agreed that it exceeded our expectations and we would gladly stay here again when visiting Hakuba

There was only one shower room so we had to take turns. The 3rd floor was spacious but might be challenging for anyone above 180cm. Staircase was narrow to climb but otherwise nothing to complain about

We loved that we had an ample amount of space. The chalet was clean and comfortable and perfect for our family of three. We also loved the washer and dryer and how close it was to various restaurants and shops in Echoland. More importantly, through messaging within the booking app the staff at the hotel went above and beyond for us. They were exceptionally communicative in assisting us after my husband left a bag on the Shinkansen from Tokyo. They also provided a free shuttle ride to and from the bus stop which was great. The drivers were so nice
