This was a great value. The hotel offered free breakfast, a lot of quality amenities, really high-quality facilities, a comfortable bed and solid internet. The location was good, as it was in easy walking to the train station, most major attractions, and there were a lot of restaurants around. I am a solo traveler and like privacy, but also saving money, and this was a great value. I was worried there would be a wait for a bathroom, but I did not experience one thankfully.

The pods have a tall part over the door that is actually a slanted vent. This allows noise and light to easily enter the individual rooms. The light goes on in the hallway when someone is walking to the bathroom, so the lights would randomly go on and off all night. If you're a light sleeper, I would recommend an eye mask and ear plugs.

like with my previous stay I quite liked the value of the hotel, the accommodations fit my needs, even with a language barrier the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, as well as patient and also seemed appreciative that I was trying to meet them half way by communicating in japanese with them, even though my skills were absolutely horrendous. the hotel is in quite a nice quiet location near the train station, there's great local restaurants all around as well. don't be discouraged by the language barrier with the staff, they're good and friendly people that will take care of you. the free breakfast is a nice money saver as well.

The staff was really friendly, and check-in/check-out were easy. The hotel is clean and has good facilities with the restaurant and the bath. The room was comfortable and clean, but pretty small. Enough for a couple night stay and a place to sleep and clean up in comfortably. It was a little more expensive than I would've liked in terms of value for the money. But overall, it was a good stay and I was happy with it.

The location, in terms of tourist attractions (Peace park, castle, museums) and restaurant areas was not super convenient. It was however, super convenient to get to and from the main train station.

Great place to stay if you want to be near the main Hiroshima station. The rooms are more private and spacious than regular capsule hotels since you have a little desk area as well, which also serves as a locker. There is a tradeoff, though, in that while the bed is private, there is no door cover for the capsule bed itself, which capsules in Japan usually have, and so there is little insulation from noise from neighbors. I personally didn’t have a problem with it and slept well as my neighbors were respectful. Breakfast was quite good and varied for being free with a good mixture of Western and Japanese foods. They could easily charge an extra 1000 yen for it. There is a small onsen on the basement floor but it doesn’t seem comfortable to use with more than one stranger (unless you’re an extrovert). There is also a Max Valu grocery store about 2-3 minutes walk away, going in the direction of Hiroshima Station.

Some shelves in the bathrooms looked unstable and like they were held together by glue. The pajamas also had somewhat of a strange smell, like they were sundried but left on a dirty surface outside.

Easy check in, location is close to the train station and other public transport. Public baths were good.

There was no hot water in my room for the first two days so I had cold showers. My fault for only telling the staff on my second night - I was too tired to have to move all my gear so showered in the public baths area. When I did report it on the second night, the staff were apologetic and helpful. I was offered to move to another room which I declined because of repacking/unpacking inconvenience and was granted a partial refund instead. The public baths needed a good scrub in a few areas - I could see mould/algae building up on the grout in somr areas.

The Trust Hotel Hiroshima is in a very convenient location - once you know the area you will have no trouble wheeling your luggage from the train station to the door of Trust Hotel. The hotel has the usual washing machines (which also dry), microwave oven and ice facilities located conveniently. When we stayed on Sept 24 the Hotel was occupied by mostly local / domestic travellers rather than western tourists like ourselves - I thought that was a good sign. The breakfast is plentiful, although I only recognised 2 or 3 types of food (there would have been at least 20 choices) I was still able to enjoy a satisfactory breakfast.

Many Japanese hotels don't have a decent refrigerator in the room. I just want to keep drinks very cold because Japan is so hot! So they should provide us with a cold fridge - it is easily remedied by filing the ice bucket provided in the room from the ice machine on the floor and drinks are cold - so no real problem.

The room had more space than I expected and was actually quite comfortable. I wasn't in it for much other than sleeping, but for the time I was in it I didn't notice any problems. The staff was great as well and I found it very easy to check-in and check-out.

I thought its proximity to Hiroshima station would make it more convenient, but some of the activities I was interested in doing weren't as close as I expected. I might check the distance to what I want to do next time before booking. If you have things near here then it is still a great choice.

About 6 minutes walk from the JR station, I worked out a route using the nearby elevators and bridges so it was easier with luggage and no need to cross the larger intersections in the rain. I stored my luggage after check out for a day at Miyajima, so it was extremely helpful. The room is fantastic, it's a mini dorm not just a capsule! Had a small desk and room to open a suitcase, hand some clothes. It felt so roomy after the capsule hotels in the bigger cities.

Great Location, Walking distance from Hiroshima Station, Easy to find. Good Breakfast, Helpful efforts of the staff in storing my bags etc before the checkin time.

The room was a bit smaller compared to my imagination! Room was allotted to me early when I reached but I could start using the room only after 3 PM, as the earlier guest had not checked out. I had arrived earlier to see the city, but could not use the room then, though I was given the key to the room! The staff did not speak English.

It was a very good choice. The room and bathroom are very spacious and comfortable compared to other hotels in Japan in the same category. All the staff I met spoke pretty good English and were very helpful. The simple but fine breakfast is free, and they also serve simple and cheap buffet lunch (and I believe dinner too) in the hotel's restaurant. For the location it's also quite good, around 5 minutes walk from Hiroshima station so there are plenty of shopping and dining options in the station's mall, not to mention easy access to all the trains, trams and buses.
