Great location, short walk down the street from Hiroshima station where you can get trains or trams. Some good restaurants nearby and a Lawson convenience store downstairs was very handy. Lots of amenities available to collect in foyer for your room eg toothbrush, shampoo, tea/coffee, shower caps etc as well as items to borrow including hairdryer, iron , even food steamer. Clear housekeeping system that gave you the options of either No housekeeping, Change towels only, or full room clean. Hotel also has a coin laundry. They have computerised check in/out kiosks with multiple languages but there are staff there in case of issues.

My only complaint is the bathroom had a faint urinal smell near toilet as soon as I arrived to room, it never really went away but I tried to ignore it as I only had a short stay & wasn't sure if it was a problem that would take longer than my stay to fix

Convenient location. Close to train station, 5 min walk and street car. A Lawson store is attached to hotel which was great. Plenty of places to eat close by. Cost to stay was the cheapest of all places we stayed at on our visit to Japan so good value really. Laundry on site very handy which we used.

Smallest room of our trip. Not a smart television in the room so only local programs were available. Netflix etc would have been handy at night to wind down. Bed was firm, would prefer softer though but this is a personal preference of course. Non of these were a deal breaker though. With a few extra pillows provided by the friendly staff, we were comfortable enough. We would stay here again.

The location was absolutely perfect. It was a short walk to the main Hiroshima station where I needed to base myself for Shinkansen usage. A medium-sized convenience store on level 1 of the hotel selling all travel essentials you might've forgotten, in addition to the usual convenience store stuff, is also very much appreciated. Other than that it's a very basic business hotel, but they provide everything you need. I also really like that they hang a little card at the entrance area which you can use to slot in for electricity instead of your room keycard. This meant that for the entire duration of my stay, I could leave the keycard in my purse without ever fumbling to take it out (the main door is unlocked by tapping).

The room is small, I guess quite standard for business hotel in Japan, just need to move some of the small appliances and you can open your luggage. The mattress was one of the hardest I've experienced in my time in Japan... I know Japanese people like hard beds, but this hard? Hurts my shoulders as a side sleeper.

Great location, close to the Shinkansen and local railway stations, and the bus station (left by bus for Matsue) and a tramline terminus. The Peace Garden, and other memorial sites were within walking distance for us, and while the bay was a reasonable distance away the transport facilities were good. There were plenty of eating places close by and shopping above the station. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff friendly on arrival. We left our bags for a while on the last morning and that was superbly organised.

The room was a little pokey. Thank goodness the bed was raised sufficiently to get a suitcase under (there was a notice in the room to point that out)

We had a pleasant stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Hiroshima. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the train station, making it very convenient for getting around the city. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. As expected in Japan, the room was quite small, but it was efficiently designed and comfortable for a couple of nights. Breakfast had some decent options but could be improved in terms of variety and quality. Overall, this is a solid and reliable choice for travelers looking for a clean, well-located hotel in Hiroshima. We’d recommend it for short stays, especially if you’re traveling by train.

It was absolutely perfect! The location is fantastic—according to maps, it’s a 10-minute walk from the JR station to the hotel, but in reality; it’s only about 5 minutes. The rooms are spacious with ample room for large luggage. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly charming and informative—they’re really wonderful. Having a Lawson on the first floor is incredibly convenient. Have I mentioned how fantastic the location is? It might be considered a bit far from the Peace Park, but that’s debatable. It’s either a 25-minute walk or a 10-15 minute ride on the streetcars, which depart every 10 minutes just 300 meters from the hotel.

Our stay here was great. The amenities provided were good and it was in a super convenient location right next to the station. There is a convenience store right next to the hotel entrance. Amazing value for money. The rooms include a hot tub, modern toilet, kettle, mini fridge, and they even offer pajamas and slippers. We did not use it, but they also offer a laundry service. The self check-in and checkout system was very convenient, but there was also friendly staff present to help so it didn't feel so impersonal. They also let us store our luggage in a large room with a security camera after checkout.

The location is convenient, a short walk to Hiroshima station, which is the main station for Shinkansen, trams, local buses and trains, as well as the JR tourist bus and the airport bus. The walk is fine even if you are walking with your luggage. The hotel room is new and clean, the bed is comfy. The room size is Japanese standard, so don’t expect a big room. The amenities are great, especially if you are female as they provide facial care. There is a convenient store at the entrance of the hotel. Can’t tell you much about the breakfast since I haven’t tried it. The front desk is usually staffed but I checked in and out using the machine which was easy.

Bed: Slightly firm in a good way - not soft and saggy. Spacious enough for two people by jap standards. Bathroom: Standard. Location: Great - quick walk from station with various convenience stores downstairs/nearby. Unfortunately nothing much nearby (<5mins), you do need to venture out a bit by tram to access the shops/restaurants. Tram stop just behind the hotel so very convenient.

Room: For two people, it is a bit small - there is a tiny space at the end of the bed between bed and wall, but not enough to hop out of bed from so it's a bit stupid. We used that space to store our carry-on luggages. The desk obstructs the usable space, especially so if someone sits in the chair - definitely not big enough to open two large luggages at the same time. Clean. Value: A bit expensive for a very standard hotel - however considering we stayed during a long weekend + location is convenient, still very acceptable.

Close enough to the train station with a convenience store nearby, easy self check-in/out, lots of great free amenities that you pick up yourself in the lobby. Pajamas available for self pick up on your hotel room floor (not in lobby). I like the bath salts available & face care set provided.

The hotel entrance could have better signage. It has an unassuming 1st floor entrance where I had to check my maps & hotel pictures to ensure I had the right place as the hotel lobby is on the 2nd floor & 1st floor was just elevators. This location is farther away from local Hiroshima sights, however there are many restaurants nears the train station.
