Great sized apartment, staff on front desk very friendly, absolutely amazing bathroom and shower (best of our Japan trip), nice to have a kitchen in the room to cook for our child, location is brilliant (just down the road from Hiroshima station and on the tram lines to the peace park).

2 things really brought the score down from a potential 10/10. 1) There are significant gaps around the balcony doors, meaning they let a lot of noise and cold air into the room (which is especially noticeable at night). 2) Every time the heating was used (a mitsubishi air-con unit) it made this awful mouldy smell. The problem was because of point 1 we had to have the heating on all night, so the room did not smell nice at all upon waking up. I would ask to avoid room 601 if you can

Hotel Randor Prestige is just a five minute walk from the Hiroshima train station. The rooms are very spacious with two double beds and a kitchenette area. The bathroom too is large with a big bathtub and shower area with Great shower pressure and hot water The washing machine was a welcome addition. They do not clean the room daily but we had no issues as we stayed only for two nights The rooms are clean with a nice big window which had efficient black out curtains. The mattress was a little on the harder side. Location was convenient just a minute from the tram station to take you to the sights of Hiroshima. A good hotel at the right price with lots of space.

Short walk from train station using Apple Maps. Arrived before checkin, but they let us leave our luggage. We walked to to the Peace Memorial area, which was a bit of a walk. After seeing all of that area, we took a taxi back to the Randor. Our room was fantastic! There was a kitchenette and a washer in the bathroom (no dryer). We had just done laundry in Kanazawa, so did not use. On the balcony there was a tub, where one could soak after a long day touring Hiroshima. Unfortunately, we did not use this feature as we only stayed one night and didn’t have time. They had pajamas (yakuta) for us to wear that were very comfortable. They had the usual Japanese amenities (shampoo, conditioner, brush, toothbrush, razor, Qtips) in our room. The hotel was in an excellent location for us as it was close to the station, and we had only had one night. The next morning, we left our keys at reception and walked to the station. We put our luggage in a locker, as we were off to another great city that afternoon, and took the train to Miyajima. While on Miyajima, my husband realized he left his knee brace on the balcony. Contacted the Randor through booking.com and they responded right away saying that he had indeed left it. When we returned from Miyajima, my husband walked back to hotel to retrieve it and then back to station. We were happy the hotel was close to the station!

The Randor was located quite close to Hiroshima Station so we walked there after arriving on the Shinkansen. Very close to a number of tram routes as well as local train, convenience stores and restaurants in the station at ‘Eki Dining’. The beds were very comfortable and the unit had a spacious bath shower, separate toilet, and a generous hand basin area. We used the washing machine (no dryer) several times and they supplied some excellent drying racks. Reasonable kitchen items supplied. Good instructions supplied for the microwave, aircon and washing machine.

Would have liked slightly smaller beds, and have an extra armchair. (Only one armchair and a stool provided, no table to eat at.) If you are sensitive to noise, there was quite a bit of traffic noise through the window overlooking the street. (But we liked seeing the vibe of the city.) Theoretically, you could fit 4 people sleeping in the room but it would be a bit of a squash trying to manage it. REMEMBER TO TAKE A PHOTO OF YOUR ROOM CHECKIN TICKET AS IT HAS THE DOOR CODE TO GET BACK IN!

The location was very convenient - 600 meters from train and bus station and close to city center. Bus stop also super close and convenience stores within the few hundred meters as well. THE BATH - wow, very big, easily fits two people and very comfortable to bathe in. Even though the apartment is small - it has everything needed. Staff was very professional and helpful.

The bathroom/shower area has glass doors. The toilet is separated but you need to walk next to bathroom to get to the toilet, which was not the most comfortable thing for two couples traveling.

The size of this room was so wonderful. Hotel rooms in Japan do tend to be a bit tight, so having a large, affordable room for a couple of nights was great. The layout of the hotel took me by surprise. After checking in, you go up to the floor of your room, and then walk along an outdoor balcony/hallway. Not a problem. Just surprised me. The bathroom was the standout. It actually felt like we had some privacy when using the toilet, unlike most hotel rooms. The shower was fantastic, and the bath was really nice also. There was a washing machine in our bathroom, but no dryer. The location is great for the station, and as we were only staying two nights, it suited us well. The tram that goes to the city centre, and the Peace Park is about a 5 minute walk away. There a few restaurants scattered around the area, and of course plenty of places near the station.

A smart modern hotel with comfy beds and a nice big bathroom. Good location for eating and travelling. It was great for us on a long trip to have a kitchenette and washing machine. The roof terrace was fantastic with views over the city. Just an easy 10 minute walk to the station - ideal for travellers with mobile luggage.

It was good to have a spacious room but it meant certain essential things were missing, like enough space to put clothes, bedside tables and lamps. I'd also recommend putting in a small table and chairs for eating, given that there is a kitchenette. (There are small low coffee tables and chairs but not designed for eating off). There is certainly room for this in the bare spaces. There's a difference between a stylish uncluttered feel and one that looks slightly unfinished.

This is a modern, well designed and very clean facility. It is in an excellent location close to the train station, restaurants, Mazda baseball stadium, with easy accessibility to trams and buses to get all over the city. The staff were very helpful and assisted with recommendations for restaurants and helped us with luggage transfers between hotels. The facility is well soundproofed and we barely heard any City noises at night.

The price reflects the excellent location which is fair.

This is a little gem of a hotel. Location is great, very near the JR station and street car stops. Staff were helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage with them when we arrived before the check in time, so we could go off and explore. The room was spacious, with a fantastic bathroom, very modern and included a bath. Products were supplied and shampoo/conditioner was Elle Bache. The bed was comfortable and there was a washing machine which we could use, which was excellent. Overall it was a great hotel, one I would recommend and great value for money.

Nothing. All exceeded our expectation so we were happy.

We really liked this place. It checked all the boxes for us. Very comfortable beds and pillows, very quiet, excellent temperature control in the room, lots of lots of hot pressurized water in the shower, and just a short walk from the train station. As usual, the staff was great, hard not to find great staff in Japan.

I hesitate to say anything negative. Japan simply does things a little differently. The rooms are generally a little smaller (however, this was an exception in that it was about the same size as a western hotel) and you will seldom find a nightstand next to a bed, and this was no exception. Also, the bathing area is designed for Japanese customs of washing and then soaking in a tub. So there’s usually not a shelf to sit your soap and shampoo on. But those are things you just have to get used to if you’re going to stay in hotels in Japan. We definitely recommend this hotel, and we would stay in it again if we came here.
