Extremely close to the shinkansen/bullet train station and within 20mins of all Peace Parks and the castle by foot. We got an IC card but didn't need it. Staff spoke good service English. Breakfast was a meal voucher for a restaurant downstairs. I liked it quite a lot.

We arrived on a weekday to find a large crowd of business men and women, this caused a delay in leaving the hotel the next day as both the elevator and stairs were packed with people during rush hours. I normally wouldn't mention other guests but a single large group was something we should have noticed and avoided.

For Japanese standards, the room was quite spacious—more than I had anticipated. I was pleasantly surprised, although it’s worth noting that there isn't a closet or much space for storing clothes. It's perfect for a short stay of a couple of nights, especially if you're just planning to explore Hiroshima for a short stay. The location is great, with many key attractions within walking distance, and bus and tram stops nearby for convenient transportation. The hotel is also close to one of the exits of Hiroshima Station, making it easy to return with luggage, catch the Shinkansen, or take a bus to the airport without much hassle. The staff were friendly and accommodating, though it’s a good idea to have a translation app handy for certain inquiries to ensure smooth communication. The view from the 14th floor was ok. If you're feeling hungry, there's a convenient restaurant on the ground floor that serves a variety of classic Japanese dishes.

Out of all the hotels I stayed in Japan, KOKO Hotel Hiroshima was outstanding. The rooms are bigger than their competitors, the bed was extremely comfy and the room had all the amenities you could need. Conveniently located near Hiroshima Station and around a 25 minute walk to the Peace Memorial Park area, I would say they are situated in the perfect spot, there is also a 7/11 and Family Mart just around the corner. Staff were friendly and overall my stay was great value for money with breakfast included. Would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Hiroshima.

I had a terrible night,because of an whisteling noise,which i could not find out,where it came from. And because it came randomly it was sleep-depriving... Some pigeons outside didn't make it better... The bathroom smelled a bit chemical

- Good location, only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Many convenience stores around too for quick and easy supplies. - Laundry machines in the hotel made washing clothes nice and easy.

- Reception was difficult to find, being on the second floor, instead of the first floor like most hotels. - The elevator took quite a while to get to you when calling it and there was no indication of where it currently is on its journey, making it seem a longer wait.

Great location few hundred meters from Hiroshima Station, next to tram stops and only few stops from main shopping and nightlife area. Friendly staff, new hotel. The room has everything, a super nice bed.

You have four different breakfast options, ready-made trays, and a bit more variety in drinks. (Tea, coffee. sodas and juices from machines.

The location was excellent. On a main street near the station. The room was a good size and there were plenty of amenities. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The level of cleanliness was great as well. I've had issues in the past with cleanliness at other hotels, but I could relax here because everything was perfect.

I looked for the following criteria when booking this accommodation: 1) Shortest walking distance for public transport 2) Our own private room with bathroom and toilet 3) Low cost compared to others All were fulfilled. We basically only used the room for sleeping. It is 8 min walking from Hiroshima main Station with local trains, Shinkansen and bus.

Location is great, easy walk to the peace memorial park or to Hiroshima Station. Room and bathroom were larger than I had expected. I also arrived very early and the staff let me leave my luggage until I returned later in the day and could check in.

Whenever I returned to the room and placed the room key in the holder for the lights to turn on, the TV would always turn on though I always had it turned off. Also the refrigerator and AC would not seem to run while I was out of the room.

It's in a good location, about 7 mins from Hiroshima station and only a minute or two to the nearest street car platform. It was very clean and up-to-date and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast while not the best out there was very cheap, and definitely worth the cost.

The single rooms are very small and have little in the way of storage space, kind of the absolute bare minimum you need for one person. They're perfectly fine for a couple nights with a small bag, but if you have anything larger than a carry-on it's hard to find space to store it with out it getting in the way.
