Got a big room (coming as a solo traveler) since was the only available, still I think the price was good, front of station, got my own bathroom. Got a futon and western bed, honestly couldn't be more comfortable here. The staff is a Japanese couple so is a super traditional place, they are really nice and I don't get why people says what they say about the manager, yeah, he is serious but is his way to be, but not rude at all, and does his best to explain stuff even when he doesn't speak English at all

Since the place is some old there's no elevator, maybe you will struggle if you bring big luggage, also for getting to the laundry machines you will have to climb up to the rooftop; I didn't care about that stuff but you may want to considerate

The location of the hostel is perfect just a few minutes on foot from the train station and the busy area of Hiroshima. The owner is extremely nice and very helpful even though he does not speak a lot of English. He allowed me to switch rooms after a night when I was not too happy with my first one, gave me a Japanese plug for the outlets and was very nice in general. I was looking for a not-too-expensive Japanese Ryokan to get this experience and this has definitely been what I was looking for! Bamboo mat, green tea and floor seating!

The first room I stayed in didn’t have a real bamboo mat but a synthetic one. When I asked the owner if I could change rooms he helped me move my things from one to the other. The second room was perfect!

- Very good breakfast, as Japanese as it can get. - Owners were nice enough, keep in mind it is a traditional Japanese-styled inn so some rules need to be followed. - Very close to Hiroshima JR Station. - Good value for money, nice green tea and candy when you first arrive at the room. - Wi-Fi was on 24/7 when I was there, but I had to ask the owners for the password first.

- Sheets could've been a bit cleaner.

The breakfast was traditional Japanese style and was delicious. A Japanese guest was also raving about the delicious miso soup. The couple were very kind and friendly. I wanted my daughter to see what a Japanese house is like. This accommodation provided that.

Option for an evening meal as the lady’s food was so tasty.

Nice little ryokan not far from Hiroshima station. Owner is not English speaking, but Google translate helped. Rooms are small, but for one person it is quite good, especially for that price. Coin laundry is available on the roof.

Only cash accepted. Shared toilet and shower.

Amazing ryokan, large place for singe (even for a couple), great facilities, very clean. Above all it is very silent, located in a great place close to the hiroshima train station (10 min walk) and to great sightseeing places. Also the host is nice and considerate.

The ryokan is close to the train station. The room was very spacious, and the futons and pillows were great for sleeping. The robes for wearing indoors were really nice.

No vegetarian options for breakfast. Shared bathroom.

The location was excellent for us. the owner help us allowing us to leave our luggage before checking time. language was a bit a problem but we managed satisfactory. bedsheets were clean. Bathroom a bit small but for one night was okay.

a bit more thee and water for coffee in the room will give a plus.

Very close to Hiroshima station. It is practical if you plan a single-day trip to Miyajima, and need to leave your luggage after the check-out. They welcome me with green tea in my room.

Employees didn't speak English but they were very patient trying to explain things and using Google translate

The kindness of the ryokan people and the open air baths. Also, the transportation from the railway station to the ryokan.

Given the attention paid to every detail, finding negative comments will end up very artificial.
