The Hop On Hop Off bus stop was only a couple of blocks from the hotel which was very nice. My Japan train pass gave me access for free. There is a huge shopping area very close by also. There were also buses and trolleys in front of the hotel that stop at the train station. All was very convenient.

There was nothing I didn't like. If I'm stretching this a little, I couldn't get the AC to work but I also didn't follow-up with the front desk and I used Google translate to read the Japanese controls in English but that didn't seem to help.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It’s not a five-star luxury experience, but it certainly delivered everything we needed for a comfortable night. The room was clean and quite decent for the short stay, even though it didn’t offer any views. The location is definitely a plus — very convenient and close to everything we needed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference. Breakfast was surprisingly good, with a nice variety and quality. Overall, a solid choice for a short break.

Tram and bus are right in front of the hotel, which can take you wherever you'd want, but everything is also within reasonable walking distance. Staff is kind and helpful, FamilyMart is right next door and Wants (drugstore) is also just a few doors down the street. Very handy to have those so nearby for a quick breakfast, snack, or medication. The hotel also offered a lot of free amenities and tourist information.

The room was definitely on the smaller side. We had two small to medium sized suitcases and 2 backpacks, and while they fit, we did hit ourselves a multiple time because of the lack of space, so take that into account. The double bed was also only accessible from one side (and the foot end).

Excellent location within walking distance of train station & bus stops nearby for travelling to other places. Lots of eating places & shopping nearby. Slippers & night robes provided as well as toiletries. Reception area offered additional toiletries, ear plugs, tea and filtered coffee bags. Staff friendly & left luggage facility offered.

Towels changed every day - felt this was unnecessary & didn’t use clean towels left outside room every morning.

The staff were super nice. We arrived early and were able to leave our suitcases without any problems and even when we asked for a second blanket (or rather a second duvet cover), this was not immediately understood due to the language barrier, but was lovingly handled. The location is also super central and we were able to walk to a lot of places. The best: Breakfast was excellent!

At the beginning we had some problems with the air conditioning settings, but that was 100% because of us, so no complaints :)

The location is great. The tram from the train station stops right outside and you can get it from there down to the Peace Memorial and all the way to the port for Miyajima. It’s not the quickest for that but very easy if you’re not in a big rush.

Rooms are a bit dated and our bathroom was tiny with no ventilation. But it was fine for a couple of nights. The coin laundry also very small and machines take ages. But there is Milky Coin Laundry on the street next to the hotel which was bigger with quicker programmes.

Nice, affordable and really convenient hotel. One of its strong points is where it's located: right in front of a tram stop (which in Hiroshima is the absolute main transportation method) and just 5' minutes away from the station via tram and 10' from the Memorial Peace Park. If you wanna visit Miyajima you take the tram in front of the Chisun and off you go, no lie it's really really convenient. There are plenty of coffee shops, shops/mall, konbinis near it and also close to the main nightlife area in case you want to enjoy a beer in an izakaya before going to bed. Only a 10' walk to the Okonomi-mura, really you could even walk anywhere from the Chisun but having the tram so close it's a relief if you're carrying luggage and/or planning a day trip to surrounding towns. Rooms are standard small Japan wise, in my case we were carrying 2 big suitcases and had no problem so it's not a big deal.

Very good location, everything is at a walking distance and the tram runs just outside the building. Helpful and kind staff. When we arrived the worker at the check-in desk had even taken the time to write down some greetings in our native language. The breakfast staff also deserve a special mention, as the food was very good and the people always greeted us so promptly and happily. Our room was small, but clean with all the necessary basic amenities. Very good experience over all in this price range and location.

The air-conditioning was not very effective, which wasn’t a problem in April but might need some tuning for summer months.

The location was very central and super close to everything I wanted to do and go to in Hiroshima. The train and markets were right outside the hotel. It definitely is a little outdated but after staying in hostels in other cities, it was nice to have a private space with a comfortable bed in a pretty spacious room!

As soon as we walked in the hotel, it smelled faintly of cigarette smoke (possibly due to the smoking room located right at the entrance); but the rooms were clean and it didn't really bother us as much.

Very clean rooms with private bathroom. Excellent location - short and easy tram ride from the station, even with luggage. The breakfast was a lovely mix of Western and Japanese style food.

Window didn’t open, so I turned the air conditioner on, but that had an annoying green light. Ended up switching it off so I could sleep, but it meant the room was a bit stuffy.
