Easy check in-out. Top location - walkable distance to the Memorial park, in the middle of the shopping street with plenty of food options and convenience stores, 2 tram stations from the main train station, about 50 minutes to the Miyajima island by tram + ferry. Even so, it was quiet at night. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was huge compared to other hotels we stayed in Japan. Possibility to use the washing machine, although the dryer was not the most efficient. Hiroshima was the best destination when it comes to shopping - not so many people compared to Tokio and Osaka, delicious food, history, nature... it has it all.

The bedding - the duvet cover was so slippery that it kept sliding off the bed which kept waking us up at night. The bed itself was comfortable, only the duvet was driving me crazy.

Great location, right next to everything, walking distance is 50meters to most food, entertainment or konbini. The hotel felt new and modern.The room are huge, seems to be double of what i have experience in japan so far from budget to premium. Huge bathroom with a giant bathtub and a adjacent washing section with a stool. The toliet is adjacent to the bathroom instead of an integrated cube in most hotels.

Its a japanese style room i got, so you sit on japanese style chairs on the floor with a small desk. I would have preferred full size table and chairs. Given the size of the room. It would have fitted.

We’ve stayed in 7 hotels on our trip around Japan and this one was by far the best. The friendliest staff, free coffee, free amenities, we asked for another pillow each and they gave us one. Lovely foyer. Bedrooms were spacious enough for two of us with our suitcase opens. Very clean. Modern bathroom / wet room. Over all a terrific stay. Check in was easy and check out even easier. Could do with a smart TV being put in there as there was only Japanese TV available. On check in the lifts were really busy so took about 10 minutes waiting for the lift to arrive.

As far as location is concerned, I don't think it's possible to do better. You're within walking distance of anything and everything you could want to see and do in Hiroshima. The shower was also incredibly spacious - if you're on the taller side you'll know how hard it is to find a hotel in Japan where you can take a shower without bumping your head or elbow on something. The room was adequately spacious - not huge but not stifling.

The rooms are certainly starting to show their age in some aspects, specifically when it comes to things like corners and trimming. The glass surfaces were less clean than I would have liked them to be, but nothing too serious.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Hiroshima and had an overall wonderful experience. The location is ideal, especially if you're looking to explore the city’s shopping district. The hotel is located near a vibrant shopping area with lots of stores, cafes, and restaurants just steps away. Whether you’re in the mood for some retail therapy or looking for a place to grab a bite, everything you need is conveniently nearby. The tram station and taxi stands are also very close, making it super easy to get around Hiroshima. We found it incredibly convenient to hop on the tram to visit places like the Peace Memorial Park and other local attractions. This accessibility was a big plus for us, and it made getting around the city hassle-free. One feature we appreciated was the availability of smoking rooms, which is not something you find in every hotel these days. It was nice to have the option, and the room itself was well-ventilated, so there were no lingering odors. The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout our stay – fast and reliable, which was important since we needed to stay connected for work and trip planning. We never had any issues with connectivity, which made everything smooth. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight. There was a wide variety of options, both Japanese and Western, and everything was fresh and delicious. What really stood out was the amazing service from one of the young staff members working in the breakfast area. She was incredibly helpful, quick, and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. Her energy and enthusiasm really added to the positive experience each morning.

Great location, right in the heart of the shopping area. Walkable to the Peace Park, the Atomic bomb dome, Hondori, tram line to Miyajima and it's right across Nagarekawa area which is the night district of Hiroshima.

There is no mirror for the dressing table in the room, which makes it kinda inconvenient for girls to get ready in the morning. You had to use either the bathroom mirror or the mirror by the door. Both are inconvenient because if you do it in the bathroom, your toiletries and make up get wet, and if you do it by the door, you have to walk back and forth to get your facial products. Bed and pillow were not the most comfortable, kinda hard. I stayed in two other hotels during the same trip before I landed in Hiroshima and I could feel the difference.

Room Cleaness, Effectiveness- fairly kind staffs, Spacious lobby area to study maps or read , buffet- french toast, german potatoes, rui boso tea, japanese curry, luggage keeping, 11 AM check out time - not rushing, location, restaurants, shower and bathtub are perfect.

I recently struggle to sleep ,and in Japan didnt have a good sleep due to some machinery sounds made by air circulators of probably, other rooms ( the upstairs room ?) during night time. After long walks, first night was 4 hours, second was 4 and 20 minutes, 3rd night was 5 hrs 10 mns. I improved every night but i definitely failed to sleep so I felt I didnt function in day times of my travelling. Room size was a bit small feeling than I expected- 16 m².

Location : Perfect! It's near the shopping center, bus stop, tram stop and many attractions. You can walk to Hiroshima JR Station Room : I'm a solo traveler so it's fit for only one luggage. I think for a couple, you won't have enough space for more luggage. Bath tub size is bigger than Japanese style Cleanliness Staff

It near the shopping center so it might be a busking or some noise that can disturb you early in the morning in weekend. there is no smart TV

The room and the bathroom were large, with a separate shower/bath area. The room and all of the facilities were very clean. The location was great, very close to streetcars and the train station. Despite the hotel being situated on a main road, our room was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us to check in early. When the receptionist realised we had booked a smoking room by accident, she promptly changed it, which was fantastic! I would definitely look to book at other Washington Hotels when we return to Japan.

The bed was a little hard.

The cleanliness was impeccable. I felt very comfortable in the room based on the cleanliness. It has a great bathroom and utilities available. The view I had of the city was also beautiful. The location is very convenient for anything you want to do in Hiroshima.

The only thing I didn't like as much was the bed. It was not the most comfortable to sleep on but it didn't hinder my overall experience. I just prefer to have a softer bed. It works as a great place to stay.
