Check in was simple on the tablet with entry codes given. No actual host. The check in information sent to us was thorough and easy to understand. Spacious room, clean. Bathroom on our floor was the 4th floor - clean toilet and shower. The shared living room and extra bathroom/laundry room on the 3rd floor was very quiet and clean. Great location, walked out and we were in the center of the bustling area. Free laundry, tea, coffee. Clean kitchen.

Another guest threw a poopy baby diaper in the 4th floor bathroom trash can without tying the bag. Initially I couldnt figure out where the smell came from. It just stunk up the bathroom terribly. I had to tie up the diaper bag and throw it in the main living room trash can and wrote a note of courtesy to put on the garbage bin in the bathroom since it was a shared space. Also threw diapers in the main living room trash can but at least that one had a lid. Weaker/ very mild smell there. Maybe either have garbage with lids in the bathrooms or provide a diaper genie or write a reminder notes for families with babies to be mindful how they throw away the baby diapers. Not the facility’s fault though. Just other guests. **Also, could use some wall hooks in the room to hang towels**

Large bedroom with two big futons on frames. Shared toilet & shower rooms, but only few rooms in small bldg, so seldom occupied, & facilities modern & clean. Had common room w/ kitchem, free tea/coffee & big table. It's in the middle of an area filled w/ great shops & restaurants -- you get street noise from patrons at night, but it's a minimal bother. Only 10 min walk to dome, peace park, & a ferry to Itsukushima Island.

Had to sign in on tablet in lobby to get outer & room passcodes. Was a bit convoluted & confusing for an older fellow like me, but I managed.

Unbeatable value, the facilities were cute and clean. There is only one shower in the whole building and the toilets are shared, but wasn't a big issue for us.

The hotel faces a street and the sound insulation is very poor, so it's very loud through the night and the morning (birds chirping). Would definitely recommend ear plugs and an eye mask if you're a sensitive sleeper. Also, it wasn't clear to us where the shower was at first (it's on the 4th floor) - would be nice to include that in the welcome message, booklet, and on the room door.

The location is just next to Hondori Shopping Street. The check-in is self-service. There are a lot of shops nearby, you can find anything you want.

The check-in counter is cramped and hot, no ventilation or air-con. Sweating when trying to check in with all the registration. Recommended to do online check-in. Only one set of keys are given, so everyone has to go together (suggest the last person to leave the inn to leave the key inside the key locker so anyone who wants to go back can retrieve from the key locker). One shower room only has to share with two other rental groups. The blanket for the futon has few yellow spots. There are noises of people vomiting and walking around when trying to sleep, around 1am.

Best location in a vibrant city center, amongst small restaurants. The guesthouse was nearly empty. There is a big shared kitchen. Our room was nice, smelt wood beautifully.

You need to use the steep stairs quite a bit as there is one elevator and only one shower and 2 toilets (shared) so you need to be on all floors through the evening, as everybody is.

Location is exactly in the shopping street. You can easily go shopping and eating. Hiroshima tourist attrations are in walking distance, too. The host provides tea and coffee for free in the shared kitchen. Washing machine has drying function so very convenient. 4th and 5th floor share a bathroom, but only one room per floor. The inn has 3 rooms in total. Highly recommend

Great location, right in the middle of shopping and restaurants and very close to Peace Park as well as the bus/railway stations. The place was completely spotless. The laundry was a combo washer/dryer, and detergent was provided, which was nice. Room was quite spacious. There are only 3 units, so the shared space stays relatively clean. I highly recommend room 201 as there is a bathroom on that floor which, most likely, the people in the other units won't use.

Because it was in the middle of the action, it was very noisy all night. It always sounded like the windows were open. We could have used some bowls in the kitchen. If you have a full load of laundry and select 25 min for your wash time, your entire wash/dry time could be 6 hours. If you have any problems, you can either call a Japanese phone number or email. They responded quickly via email but it's obviously not instantaneous. Also, the amenities list is very inaccurate. There is NO luggage storage there. You have to take it to their sister hotel which is NOT close and only between 10a and 9p. In addition, there is no concierge, front desk, private entrance, interconnecting rooms, or activities.

For only ¥5000/night I had a double bedroom all for me, with 2 double beds, TV, mini fridge and balcony! The shower is shared but is cleaned up daily I think. There’s a room with living and dining area, you can even cook if you want. Very good drip coffee bags!

In 4 days I hardly saw people staying so if you need human contact, it’s not what the right place. Also there’s no reception desk so try not to lose your room key.

Amazing location. Close to peace park and an abundance of food and leisure options. Everything was clean.

Shared bathroom/shower. Didn't read well enough before booking so that's my fault. That being said though I never had to wait to shower or use the bathroom.
