The first thing I realised when I entered the hotel was the smell, it was so nice and calming. The room was amazing. It was spacious, had a huge bed and even a window seating area. The view was decent from higher floor too. On the top floor, there was even a spa area, which was free for all guests! It has a sauna, an indoor and an outdoor bath. There were also vending machines and laundry machines on that floor. Of course, the room also had a toilet and bath. Bus and tram stops are just a few minutes away. The price was very affordable too, especially compared to other big cities.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel in Hiroshima. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The room was a perfect size, with comfortable beds and everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel also offers an onsen, which was a great bonus to relax after a day of sightseeing. The location is excellent, with easy access to major attractions and transportation. I definitely recommend this place — it met all my expectations!

The breakfast area is quite small, which sometimes causes a line to form during peak hours. Still, the overall experience was very positive.

We stayed in Candeo Hotel Hiroshima for 2 nights. As a big group of 13 (including kids ranging from 6 to 13 yrs old), we booked 4 rooms. Communication with the hotel was easy and prompt. We were happy they were able to accommodate some of our request such as having the rooms on the same floor. Location was great. Near the shopping area, tram stations with 2 minutes and very close to the A-Dome and Hiroshima Castle were a plus point. Room was comfy and beds great. Amenities were available on the lobby and it was basic amenities. Which was okay. Staff were efficient and check-in was fast. It helps that we could communicate in japanese, but even some of us who were speaking english, staff were polite and good too. 7-Eleven and Lawson were just across the road, so getting snacks and drinks were easy. Laundry room were available but we did not try. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and will definitely consider to stay here again the next time we are in Hiroshima. We also recommend this hotel for others.

Nothing much. Just that the lobby is at the top floor, which was weird. Had to go up first, then down to the rooms. But the lobby view is really nice.

Close to street car. A very convenient location. Great Onsen.

A Chinese receptionist (she seemed to be the in-charge ) was very rude and unhelpful - asked if there is microwave facility available, she said NO. We stayed in Candeo Hotels Nagasaki, there're microwave facility in the dining room. When asked if we could have a room not facing west. She just said we have a full house. Very unprofessional, cold and uninterested. All other receptionists are very helpful and courteous except this one. Which is a shame. We booked 15 accommodations during this 33-day trip, must say she's the worst we met.

Hiroshima was one of our favorite places we visited. I was apprehensive as to which hotel to book as we wanted to see Peace Park, Atomic Dome building, and travel to Miyajima Island. This hotel was the perfect location, a short streetcar from Hiroshima Station, and minutes walking to Peace Park. From Peace Park, theres a ferry, if conditions are right with the tide, that will take you past the Atomic Dome, through the city to the harbour, then on to Miyajima. The hotel was very clean, the room was comfortable and the breakfast had a great variety and view from the top floor.

Some juice served at breakfast would have been welcome. While they had various hot teas, coffee, etc...the only cold choice I remember was water in paper cups. Not indicative of the rest of our experience, which was awesome.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect, it is very close to the main shopping/restaurant area in Hiroshima, however the hotel itself is very quiet and tucked away. The reception area is lovely with floor length glass windows providing wonderful views. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and our room was even ready early, which was a nice surprise. We stayed in the economy double room, which was really spacious and had enough room for 2 large suitcases comfortably. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was great. The public bath facilities were very clean and the open air bath was especially nice. This hotel is great value for money and we would definitely stay here again!

When using the baths you need to cover your tattoos with stickers which are provided by the staff, however when using the baths as a EU looking person I felt extremely unwelcome. Baths are separated by gender, for both my boyfriend and myself people were rudely staring at us as if we did not belong there, very unfriendly environment. I could not feel comfortable there and I used them for a while only one day because of the environment. I felt very discriminated.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room on the 8th floor was larger than expected, we didn't expect to have access to a spa and sauna and smoking rooms on different floors. The breakfast was simply outstanding (with Japanese dishes, café au lait, fresh croissants, butter, jam, scrambled eggs, fresh salad with a choice of 3 dressings including a delicious sesame dressing, and cereal with yogurt and milk and fruit), all with a stunning view from the 13th floor. The staff were very polite and helpful. I have traveled a lot around the world and this hotel was one of the best in this category. I can only recommend it.

While we had real beer glasses and coffee mugs in our room as well as a kettle to make tea or coffee, you had to bring your own tea or coffee. During the 3rd breakfast we ran out of butter, but a few minutes later a member of staff came to our table and surprised us with three small portions of butter, which we thought was very nice of him.

Good location close to public transport and lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The spa was relaxing and a 11am checkout was a bonus. Breakfast at the restaurant view really good.

Room layout, lounge/bench was fixed and unusable with no back support so couldn't sit to watch TV. Only one chair for 2 quests. Lighting configuration was poor as couldn't turn off main area light individually without turning all the lights off. No bedside table. Room was a good size but unfortunately a poor layout. Also no cupboards or luggage storage space.If reconfigured it would be an excellent room. But good location.

the location was great. the hotel feels very upscale and elegant . loved the onsen and the room itself is spacious and well appointed .

the room could use some coffee in it for guests who drink coffee. in addition, we were disappointed to see our room was not made up as requested. we hardly ever get a room made up, but we really wanted this on this one day...we got back to the room at around 9 pm with a note saying you need to leave by 9 for this to happen. this is absurd and it put a bad feeling in my head about customer service. I wish the front desk might have told us this at check in so we were aware of this .
