We had 2 double rooms for 2 adults and 2 older teens. Both were well appointed and modern in style. Bed was a good size for 2 adults and accommodated 6'7" tall husband. It was easy to work at the desk in the room, with good wifi. The frosted sliding door between the room and the entrance way and bathroom added some privacy from the bathroom and made it feel more like a small suite. Staff were helpful holding luggage on arrival before checkin so that we could explore more of Hiroshima on foot. Several local convenience stores (including one on the street level with rear access into the hotel) and a Mos Burger opposite (IYKYK). Close to bus and tram lines, which made it easy to get to/from Miyajima as well. A short walk to Okonomiyaki-dori (don't miss it!).

We never did find the stairs between the floors when we only wanted to go a few flights for ice/laundry.

Location was fantastic. You can walk to pretty much all the major sightseeing landmarks in Hiroshima. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants and supermarketts nearby. The 7-Eleven meanwhile is practically connected to the hotel at the first floor. In addition, the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, too. Also appreciated the assistance in forwarding our luggage to the next hotel.

If anything, while our room for 3 was fairly big (it was maximized functionally), there wasn't enough space to open our suitcases all at the same time.

Excellent three night stay at the Hotel Vista, we were very sad to leave. Friendly and welcoming staff. We were able to leave our bags a few hours before checkin. Good location, lots of places to eat and drink in the area and the 7/11 under the hotel could not be more convenient. We walked from the train station and took about 15 minutes. Very easy to walk to Peace Memorial and Hiroshima castle. Room was small but very comfortable, great shower and has a smart tv with strong WiFi. Very very quiet, we slept well. Could not recommend more and would stay again if ever in the area.

Nothing of note

The common Japanese home style bathroom and the Epsom salt was such a relaxing end to the day, loved taking the Japanese bath after shower to wind down. I just love everything about our room except for the fridge which is very small and doesn’t seem very cold. However, overall extremely happy with the room. So many lights and mirrors which is lovely. Quite spacious with shelving for our own amenities. One unique feature about this hotel is you can see update status on laundry facilities! It’s fabulous!

The ice machine room was so hot! As well as the laundry room. If it was ventilated better it would have been nice cause we ended up sweating just being in there for a few minutes (after shower). Also on our check out day we had to wait for the lift 4-5 times before we could go down. It seems this hotel lift goes all the way up first regardless to level 15 then make its way down, so be careful when you want to check out around 11am and your room is on lower floors because along the way the people from higher level will be able to get on first.

Great location, 7-11 connected to hotel, very safe, walkable area with lots of shops & restaurants. Hotel has a fantastic buffet breakfast with varied choices of fresh food. Staff are attentive to ensuring dishes and beverages are constantly being refilled. There is a coin laundry which is quick and affordable. Room is large by Japanese standards, very clean. I like how the coffee/tea service in the room includes ceramic cups, rather than paper cups. Wash basin is separate from toilet & bath which is great. Free coffee bar on 2nd floor is wonderful. There's even a lounge area with a large table where you can gather with friends and family. Fresh and bottled water are left each morning.

I liked everything about this hotel

Really spacious room for Japan, with its own hallway, separate toilet and both shower and bathtub. In the bedroom, we even had a small sofa. The hotel felt luxurious and was aesthetically pleasing. Very tasty breakfasts with many options to choose from. Good location - walk distance to all main attractions.

For such a big hotel, there were only two washing machines and two dryers which could be used only after retrieving keys from the reception. The staff was using translators to communicate with us, but they understood us well.

The rooms were fully furnished, cozy and clean. The service staff at the check counter was pleasant and ever ready to assist in our check-in and even car parking since we got in only after 10pm. Hotel was central to location we had planned to visit.

Rooms were alittle small. Bfast was simple and but variety lacked excitement. Lift were extremely jammed especially close to the check out timings.

Free coffee in the lobby was nice. I enjoyed the Japanese style bathtub. There is a 7-Eleven on the first floor which was convenient. A short to walk to the nearest Hiroden station though most sights can be reached by walking.

I stayed in the Moderate Double Room and it was smaller than I expected based on the photos. Little dusty in the corners of the room.

Hotel Vista is in a great location in Hiroshima. 3 stops on the bus from the train station or board the streetcar to Hatchobori. The no.2 or 6 would also take you directly to the A-bomb dome and museum. Walking it would take about 20 minutes, which we did through the shopping street. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also great. Free amenities are available at the reception to use, and there's free coffee after 8 am. The staff were welcoming and helpful too.

We had planned to stay 2 nights, but unfortunately, we had to leave Hiroshima a day earlier due to Typhoon Ampil. The JR shinkansen suspended train travel towards Tokyo on Friday, and we decided to change our train tickets to leave on Thursday and return to Tokyo in order to make our flight back home on Saturday morning. We asked the hotel for a refund for the one night we didn't use, but it was declined.

The triple room was very nice and perfect for a short stay. The hotel’s location is fantastic — everything in Hiroshima was within easy walking distance. We could quickly reach the A-Bomb Dome, Shukkeien Garden, and Hiroshima Castle, which made sightseeing super convenient. It’s also close to the shopping district and plenty of great restaurants nearby. Another plus was that we could leave our bags at the hotel after checkout, which made our day in the city much easier.
