Wonderful English speaking staff who were very helpful during the check-in process. The cafe on the first floor was also very good, and cheap as well. The room itself was very clean and the AC was cold during the September heat. There is also self service luggage hold available for those who need to hold bags before check-in or after check-out. The hostel was also less than a 10 minute walk from a large shopping center and only 25 minutes from the peace memorial park.

The rooms are very small, the bathrooms especially to an almost humorous extent. But at least the rooms had en-suites. We arrived to the hostel at 2:45 and check in is at 3 and they were unable to check us in even just 15 minutes early which is to be expected, but still something to keep in mind.

Welcomed by very friendly staff, who were great, and no problem to store our luggage. Lovely cafe/open use area on the ground floor, and an excellent location. So close to the peace park, excellent shopping arcades and restaurants. Also was super clean! Great breakfast included too. Worth mentioning that even though they were single bunk beds, they are very spacious - I am 6 foot 4, and was loads of room.

The rooms are definitely small, and impossible to have 2 x suitcases open in the room, however you can slide the cases under the bottom bunk bed. Also possibly the smallest bathroom I have ever used, but its was spotlessly clean and better than having to use a communal bathroom.

The restaurant attached to the hotel is really cute. Everything is very clean and rooms basic but very comfy and stylish. Staff were extremely nice and always helpful. Breakfast was European style and had wheat bread which I very much appreciates after two weeks of no bread at all.

I am a non smoker and was on the smoking floor. You are not allowed to smoke it the room so this was fine but the corridor smells of smoke since there is a smoking room located on the floor. It is not a strong smell at all but as a no smoker I smell the slightest hint of cigarettes. Maybe it’s different for other people

This hotel has a lot of personality, and has an astronaut space cat as one of the first things you see when you walk in. The lounge/cafe area is a great space to sit and work at all hours, and the kitchen has items to cook with. The staff were also very kind and interested in conversing/sharing recommendations. It is in a great location as well, super closer to shopping street, okonomiramura, and a 15ish minute walk to the Peace Park. Wifi is strong throughout the property, and the bathrooms/capsules are clean.

The mattress is quite thin, even compared to other capsule hotels in Japan. You also have to make part of the bed yourself with a flat sheet, which I thought was a bit unique. The capsules are quite hot and don't have any airflow in them - you can ask for a fan however.

Great place, very close to peace park, nice rooms, breakfast included, lounge area in the lobby, nice shopping area nearby with a variety of food options. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting hiroshima as a tourist.

Not much bad to say about WeBase Hiroshima, we had a great experience. I guess the only thing I would change is that I asked about shipping some luggage back to the airport, and they can't help with that in house. They did tell me exactly where to find a Yamoto transport office in the nearby shopping area though, so they got me exactly what I needed even if I had to walk a few blocks to do it myself.

The location was fantastic! Close to trams, buses and easily walkable to lots of things to do including shopping, dining and restaurants. The accommodations were amazingly clean and we had everything we needed. My son and I stayed in a bunk bed room which was cleverly designed and felt like the efficient layout of a cruise ship cabin. The room has a small shelf , charging station and light right in your bunk with space underneath the bottom bunk to store luggage. There is no dresser and closet area is small. My husband stayed in the dorm which resembled a pod hotel with secure bag lock up and lockers for valuables. The staff was amazingly helpful! This place is a VALUE and we would stay here again. If you require a ton of space and are not comfortable being creative with your space or living out of your suitcase, this place isn’t for you. For us New Yorkers, it was perfect for a stellar price.

Although breakfast was sold out during our stay and we had to go out for the morning meal, we appreciated the convenience of the café/restaurant in the hotel, which stayed open late. It was a great option for drinks and light bites, and came in handy a couple of times when we needed a quick snack or refreshment. Additionally, while the hotel wasn't able to forward our suitcase to the next location, they kindly recommended a nearby service.

The weather was pretty warm during our stay. We travel with a 2-liter CamelBak backpack, and it would have been great to have ice to fill it up. Additionally, after a long day, we would have appreciated having ice available for drinks in our room. The hotel only provided small amounts at a time, which was a bit inconvenient. What we didn’t like was the size of the rooms, particularly the bidet area, which felt very cramped. Although I'm not especially tall, my knees would hit the wall when sitting down, and bumping my head against the wall was quite uncomfortable and inconvenient.

I loved staying here. The staff were super friendly, enthusiastic, helpful and spoke excellent English. The location is great, being only a short walk from Peace Memorial Park and the main shopping area. There are several excellent restaurants nearby offering a variety of cuisines, and the hotel itself has a small restaurant that offers simple, tasty meals at a cheap price (750 yen) if you don't feel like going out or are on a tight budget. The rooms are only made up on every third day as standard, but you can request it be done more frequently at no extra charge. This was great for us a we were travelling with a toddler.

The building has 7 floors and only one elevator, so you can be waiting a bit for it sometimes. The stairs aren't available for use, except in an emergency.

This place is essentially a modern take on a hostel - bunk beds but in your own room with your own small bathroom. There are also numerous shared facilities like a laundry, a kitchen, a big fridge freezer (there’s also a little fridge in the rooms) and a big lounge space downstairs with tables and also a few comfy chairs. It’s smart and clean and also very well thought out in terms of both design and what it offers. For example the rooms are pretty small but a good use of space means there’s somewhere to store your bags, shelving for belongings, and a place to hang clothes. Lots of handy sockets for charging. A dimmable light directly over each bunk for reading. The mattresses are exceptionally comfortable. Someone has really thought about what people need in this situation. It’s a short walk from the Peace Park and near a tram line for the station (line 1). Several restaurants within a few yards of the front door including a really excellent Vietnamese place around the corner which I would highly recommend if you fancy a change. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

The air con’s a bit fierce but I tend to get cold really easily. My husband liked it.

My stay at this hotel in Japan was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and genuine care from the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I felt welcomed right away. The room was spotlessly clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like PJs, slippers, green tea, and a high-tech toilet. The location was perfect—close to public transportation, shops, and local attractions, yet quiet enough to enjoy a restful stay
