Very good location and affordable price! The staff was friendly and spoke English. I came after check-in time and it was totally fine for the staff, I got to come later and do the check-in the next morning. The dorm bed was comfy enough for the price, and there were safety lockers in the room. Toilets and showers were clean, and they offer shampoo and body wash. I didn’t hangout in the lobby area, but it looked cozy.

There was no duvet cover for the blanket, only a regular bedsheet you had to put between you and the blanket. It’s not very hygienic. Also there was the same entry code for every floor, and there were no locks on dorm rooms. I stayed in the female-only dorm, and while I’m comfortable to sleep even in the mixed dorms, some people are not and they might find the lack of locks on the dorm rooms disturbing because anyone can walk in there. I felt totally safe for my entire stay, but I’m just thinking about the possible safety issues there might be.

This was the friendliest hostel I visited in Japan! The environment was very international and welcoming, with an extensive kitchen (even had a rice cooker) and sitting space (including bench seats for work/study). The staff occupied the shared area and initiated friendly conversation. The capsule bed dorms I stayed in were basic, but effective, and private.

The washing machine was dirty and left my clothes not as clean as I would have hoped. There wasn't space to store non-refrigerated food as this seemed to be all used by the staff. Not necessarily negative, but although there were female-only dorms, the floor was mixed, and the bathroom was also mixed.

Staff and hallway cleanliness were great. Fun international atmosphere. Latino receptionist was extremely friendly and accommodating, even had medical articles bought for me by his boss and delivered. What a sweetheart.

Shower had a yakitori stick on the floor, but thats not the staff's fault. Kitchen was basic and could use with some more towels and general cleanliness, again due to other guests.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Whenever we had any issue, they saw to it immediately. Great location, everything was within walking distance. Spacious living room to chill. There are a lot of showers.

The AC stopped working and it was very hot, making it difficult to sleep. The next day they put a mobile AC unit, which was not enough and made noise. We opted to change rooms. There was just one kitchenette (2 burners).

The people at the guesthouse are amazing, both the staff and guests. You can leave your luggage in an area near the reception desk, and you also can leave your valueable belongings in a locker (fits a medium sized backpack). You can use the common area along with the kitchen and a fridge. There is a lot of showers in which you will also have some space to leave your clothes and a towel. In case you don't have your own towel, you can rent it from the guesthouse during check-in. The beds are also equipped in a lamp and a small shelf. You will have an amazing time there!

It can be noisy sometimes and the check-in is available in a short period of time, but eventually if you arrive late, it won;t be a problem for you.

The rooftop private room was great, photos lived up to it and even more. Very spacious and comfortable.

The one thing, was the wifi connection didn't seem to work with any of our phones. The staff couldn't seem to find out the issue. So we were stuck connecting to the common room wifi a floor below which was a bit weak. This is the only negative though. Room was excellent apart from this one nitpick.

Good Location, very near to peace memorial, nice facilities, clean room and shower/restrooms, Excellent common spaces and kitchen 👌. The Argentinean lady in front desk was very kind & helpful (thank you for that!)

Front Desk after hours (night) the Emergency Phone #, basically you will be calling to another Hotel Front Desk and the personnel does not speak English 🤨, any hostel or hotel 'Front Desk employee' should at least speak English. - Common sense - 🤷‍♂️ Mixed gender 🚿shower mmmmmm not nice... (but is common is JPN)

We took the private bedroom for three people and didn't expect much because a lot of reviews complained about hard mattress and humidity. The room was PERFECT, specious and just great. There is also so much privacy in this hostel- bathrooms are shared but it's not like public toilets, there is a room for each. Also showers are a tiny room per shower which gives you lots of privacy. The common area is super cozy and there is even Nespresso for only 50 yen! Also, location is amazing.

Only thing that the pillows are more Japanese and can be hard for a lot of people

Amazing hard-working staff! Great place to meet people and really nice lobby to hangout in.

AC was broken on my floor for the entire period of my 10 day stay, made sleeping a little uncomfortable. I wish that could've been fixed a little sooner.
