I chose the hotel because we were traveling with friends who were new to Japanese food, and seeing it had a western restaurant, they could have a break from Japanese food. The service and food at that restaurant was excellent with great atmosphere. It also has a fantastic rooftop bar. They have a treat for guests where they give you ‘hotel coins’ to spend at the rooftop bar. So we were able to have cocktails and huge choice of nibbles with the ‘hotel coins’ that were all complimentary. The hotel room was the best out of all the hotels we stayed in. It was very spacious with tasteful modern decor. Huge bed. We just loved the space where we were not tripping over our suitcases like in all the other hotels. Location was excellent. It was across the road from the Peace memorial museum and walking distance to the undercover shopping precinct of shops and restaurants. We also hopped on the tram from Hiroshima station and it drops you off very close to the hotel. There were 6 washing machines/dryers compared to other hotels that only had 3.

The only strange thing was that the front desk is on the top 14th floor.

What a gem! Perfectly located for the Peace Park being just a 5-minute walk away - a spectacular view of it from the roof top on 14th floor too. A quick boat link from the river jetty nearby can take visitors to Miyajima to avoid the journey out to the port. Close to tram/bus stops too. The hotel itself catered for every need with finer touches. Great staff - luggage forwarding to the next hotel dealt with efficiently. Six washing machines available too. Comfortable room bigger than many we've come across in Japan. Great rooftop bar - tokens given to guests on arrival for a welcoming drink too! Highly recommended in every respect!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Knot Hiroshima for six nights with my family, and I can't recommend it enough! The hotel's location is fantastic—conveniently situated near local attractions, shops, and restaurants, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, offering a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. A standout feature was the rooftop bar, where you can exchange knots to enjoy refreshing drinks and snacks while taking in the stunning views of Hiroshima. The atmosphere was perfect for unwinding in the evenings. The staff at reception went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. We needed assistance with sending our luggage to the next hotel, and they handled everything smoothly and with a smile. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel at home. Overall, The Knot Hiroshima offers a perfect blend of great service, comfort, and location. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Hiroshima. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The only downside was that breakfast wasn't included, which I didn't realize when booking. It would have been a nice addition to an otherwise fantastic stay.

Lovely hotel in perfect location for the Peace Park and museum. Many restaurants are within walking distance. Very nice staff. We also enjoyed the bar on the top floor. Great value off season -- we only paid about $65 a night.

The hotel restaurant is very popular but we had the feeling we weren't really welcome. Twice they said they didn't have room for us at dinner when most of the tables were empty. The hostess embarrassed us by telling us breakfast wasn't free with our room, and after we told her we knew that, she waved the card with the price of breakfast at us. Maybe it was a language problem.

Property is in a very convenient location close to Peace Memorial Park and transit. We were so impressed with the size of the room. It was clean, modern, and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and English speaking. Their reception desk is on the top floor with their Bar/Lounge, it is a beautiful space and they give you credits to enjoy a drink or snack up there which we really enjoyed.

Nothing! Honestly a great location and a beautiful hotel. We hear there is only 1 coin laundry machine available for the entire hotel though, so if you’re planning on utilizing that service, you may need to exercise patience!

Incredible value for money with an awesome location! I loved the styling and vibe of the place. The reception was on the 14th floor which was different but it had an awesome view and a connected bar. The amenities were great, the room was spacious with an awesome view of the peace park. It was easy to get to from Hiroshima station with a street car stop right out the front. It was just across the road from the A-bomb museum. Cleaning services were daily and decent, although they didn’t make the bed. Two bottles of water provided daily. I loved the addition of getting 6 coins per person to spend at the bar. The ground floor restaurant (Italian cuisine with Japanese flare) was phenomenal too.

It was all amazing! But if I had to ask for one thing, I do appreciate getting the bed made daily. I also couldn’t find any tea bags.

I worried for a long time about the best place to stay in Hiroshima and this was the best place! Very near all the main things we wanted to see and convenient shops around. We had three corner rooms from which the views were stunning. It was very clean. The beds were comfy. We enjoyed receiving the knot coins for free drinks in the rooftop bar which was a super place from which to enjoy the view and relax after a busy day. We only ever spent the free coins and were never asked to move on after our drink was finished so we could just sit and relax on the roof and play cards etc. I would certainly recommend this hotel, and I also think it was good value for a large room (get one of the corner rooms). The staff were very helpful changing money for the laundry and booking us a taxi for our day of departure.

It was all great. I highly recommend it.

This hotel was actually one of the best we had on our trips. The rooms were very spacious and had an amazing view (we were placed on the 12th floor). After staying in Tokyo, this was actually a huge upgrade. The hotel itself felt very luxurious, and on the 14th floor there was even a rooftop bar where you could have a drink with an amazing view. The location was very easy and convenient, the tram stops are nearby, and it is located next to two main streets and the river through the city. We also had breakfast at the hotel, which had a very good variety of buffet and stuff to order from the menu. Definitely would recommend!

Honestly can't think of something!

We had a superior twin room with panoramic view. Amazing, modern and well equipped room, very large and spacious with a small couch and window seat (!!) and enough floor space to have two suitcases open and still be able to walk easily around them. This was such a luxury after a few weeks in the standard size of (quite compact) rooms in Japan. Amazing view. Beds and pillows very comfortable. It had a separate hallway with the toilet, shower room and a space to hang jackets and being able to close the bedroom off from these parts just felt so wonderfully private. Receiving tokens to use at the rooftop bar was such a treat, very modern and cool vibe up there. Delicious sake cocktail in particular. The staff were kind and helpful and dinner at the ground floor restaurant was great (2 nights in a row!).

This is minor and only applies if you opt in to the breakfast (which we did on the morning of our checkout for the sake of convenience) - but I would say it is substantially overpriced for what you get. It would be quite easy to find as good if not better a breakfast for half the price elsewhere.

Breakfast wasn't included but we paid for it anyway. It was excellent. Dinner at the restaurant was also surprisingly good. The rooftop tokens and experience there was great. The location was amazing, the deluxe view room was absolutely worth it, and the staff was incredible. We were particularly impressed by the outgoing and talented restaurant staff. Honestly, the entire experience was so good we were shocked and pleasantly surprised. We spent hours trying to find the best hotel for our short stay in Hiroshima, and we were definitely impressed. We hope to be back.

Not really anything? The elevators were a bit slow. 3 elevators should be enough ... Seems like using one programmed you always return to ground floor could be easy. That's a minor thing though.
